    Sorry I had to back out. I was snoozing on the couch a good hour before we started to form up. Something about Wed's just saps my energy each week after work. That or I'm just getting too old! :smirk:

    Yes, they were, but it was *that bad* of a hit (I think it overloaded the surge protector). A neighbor of theirs lost all of the appliances in their house from the same storm (stove, fridge, dishwasher, etc). Miss Heavenly and her husband are thinking about turning it on home owners insurance and just getting new computers. It will probably work out better in the long run if they do (versus trying to fix all the current damage).

    Thank you to everyone that was able to join us last night.

    Sorry the updater took forever for you Texarcana. It was a bit of a big patch, but that still seems really unusual.

    We was able to run 2 teams last night. As shown above, Goldberg and Ecru led the second team.

    My team was:

    Cold Satisfaction: Ice/Dark Corr
    Baznon: Mace?/Shield Brute
    King Sac: Energy/Energy Blaster
    VY Canis Majoris: Blaster
    Infinite Psilox: Defender

    We finished in 1:08:14 with 3 deaths.

    Next week will be the Moonfire TF. I'll have the sign up list up later this week.

    Miss Heavenly will be out again this week I think. It was more than her network card fried. More like the entire system (both her's and her husbands) was fried by the lightening.

    I seem to be melee heavy this time around, so bring whoever you like. That being said, Double xp weekend was pushed back to August 11th. =( So no double xping for you this weekend.

    Kheld teams in low levels are squishy, but they become nice in upper levels. VEATS are pretty nice in multiples. Me and E both ran widows the last time he was on villain side. Plus we usually had 2-3 other widows on the team. Pure steamrolling action.

    Thank you to everyone that was able to join last night! We ran 2 teams of 8. I thought for a moment we'd have 3 teams, but my husband decided he'd rather go to bed early than play CoH :smirk: Thanks to Goldberg for leading the second team, and Xort for being willing to lead the third team.

    We finished Rumblings of the Past in 28:25 with 0 deaths. We finished "I Lost My Daddy" in 28:52 with 1 death. And we finished "The Buried Past" in 28:27 with 2 deaths.

    Next week will be the final part of Faultline which is Agent G's story arc. It's a bit longer, so it'll be the only thing we do next week. I expect it to take around an hour to an hour and a half.

    Next week is the Agent G arc which is an Ouro flashback. The week after will be the Moonfire TF. Then the week after that is the first part of Striga Isle in flashback form.

    Welcome to Freedom. Sorry most of the popular are power leveling dorks. But there are some of us out here who like to clear missions, and fight through the objectives. Sometimes the Horde runs fast (as in run through and smash everything and just keep rolling until it's all smashed!), but if someone says "Hey, I want to fight, or read the dialog", etc, we accommodate.

    Like others have said, join some chat channels, make some global friends with people who play the way you like, sign up for events on the forums that intrigue you.

    The enemies need to be at least level 20 for it to drop. My husband and I have the best luck getting them to drop off bosses or lts. And for some reason, it just seems like it won't drop if you've already done 5 missions that day. Some days it just helps to wait until the next day to try to get it to drop. I think it might be a small bug in the game.

    Thank you to everyone that was able to join us last night. We had 3 people who where unable to join, but with Tex's sign up, and a couple of friends who wondered by, we was able to run 2 full teams last night which was great!

    We finished the Cavern Trial at 22:26 with 7 deaths. It would have gone sooner, but we had no one who had both stealth and tp at the low levels. Oh well!

    Next week will be Part 1 of Faultline. We will again be doing the arcs through Ouro. Look for the sign up sheet up later this week.
