Awesome, thanks for the additional advice.
All good stuff, going to put Enzyme back in for sure and didn't know that about Kismet so good to know. Good to know spiritual is right choice, it is what I wanted for several reasons anyways.
Gotta keep in mind that FH and health are not equals, I did know that but been a long time since played the regen... Been playing it all week and having a lot of fun with just SO's in atm. Thanks for helping make a pretty solid build I am excited about.

That's just the help I was looking for.
I felt pretty lost while slotting my build, was trying to spread my bonus' to thin.
I knew my endurance was messed up, was thinking I would go cardiac.. but got my head straight now.
I was trying to go Mu to get another AoE and it fits my characters concept the best.. I don't think i can pass up the slotting options for taking Soul though.
I re-worked build, pretty much copying Elegost's build but fitting it to my concept more. Wish I could have fit in SJ, also prefer real travel, but I can live.
Thanks again, better build than I could have done alone. Might work on it more but just to show I was listening (the power by power break down was super helpful!) will post what I prolly will build.
Thinking of going Spiritual for Alpha slot as well. Have a had a problem with Accuracy though with fire melee.. perhaps go that route.

I have an old fire/regen scrapper. I played it to 50 and had a blast doing so, but eventually shelved it for several reasons, mainly end game survival with Regen Vs. almost every other defense set available.
I have been thinking recently with IO's and incarnate of trying to breath new life into him.
Sort of long story, short as possible... I made a build in Mids that seems decent enough, but I am sure mids guru's can do much better.
My goal is pure PvE and to mostly add more survival to him.
I guess my real question is: Is there a way to add more defense to him without losing a lot of regen? Or even on a Regen, should I ignore +regen over defense entirely?
I searched forums for fire/regen builds/help and found mostly pvp or pve/pvp builds, again I will never do pvp so I just want to know if I am on right track before I maybe try to work a new build or sink money into this one.
Any advice is appreciated and will be considered. I also like all my powers, took revive as a why not, not attached.. But again, all advice will be considered, thanks.
Also, I know there is a Glad armor in there and they are not cheap.. I do have one on a brute already I was thinking of stealing, but would love to not use it in this build.

I did forget to mention and did not want to re-edit post, that Aid other is one power I am willing to drop (Mostly have it for healing that dang Arsonist that loves agro, and wasn't sure what else to take).
I was thinking I would get a "Wow, you don't know the first thing about slotting a MM" response, which would have been true. So I feel much better about my direction.
I have re-worked my build taking in your suggestions, which made sense to me.

First off, this is my first forum post ever in 6 years of playing.
I have only been able to play over the past couple years in monthly on and off spurts. Because of that I have never spent the time to "IO set slot" a character, just basic invention IO's. I have used Mids to get an idea and read many many forums posts about IO's.
Anyways, Here is a build idea I threw together on Mids as a starting point for me.
What would be helpful is any ideas or critiques on the build. Things I did good, things I did stupid. I can handle a harsh critique and am a quick learner.
Posting other builds or a fixed version of this one is great.
My goal with my character is all around use, I like being able to solo a good mission when teams are sparse. But I prefer to team. So doing well on new content would be good, while being able to power through solo mission like I do already. I hate status effects on me so I may have went heavy there.
One thing to add, I like the powers I chose very much and would like to keep all of them. But any sound suggestions will be looked into, thanks.
