Quote:lol. Thats why I said "new".I'll have you know, I saw the Rikti mothership descend on Atlas. I have been playing this game for a while.
Also the Foreshadow in the game now is different from the Korean launch of the character. The current one does not have the pistol. He is a MA/SR Scrapper. I want that sword attacks AND the pistol. It would be soooooo fun to play that. I have no idea how it would play, some sort of Single Pistol Primary and a hybrid Sword Secondary set. Or some mixed Sword/Pistol Primary. I dunno. But it would be too fun! -
Yeah. I didn't think it was an actual powerset. Just one I REALLY REALLY want.
-
Nope, not a typo. City of Hero, the Asian launch. I was perusing the Lineage II page and looking at the screens and videos there, so I decided to take a look at the CoH page and see what was there. Well, aside from seeing a screen shot of something new CoX players will NEVER see (the Rikti Mothership descending in Atlas), at least in the current game that is, I re-watched the City of Hero trailer.
Now my question is, why can't they proliferate that AWESOMELY BADAZZ "I have a gun AND a sword" powerset!!!??? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! That was just hands down so full of win that it's not even legal. Soooooooo perfect for Blasters!!!
As they say in intarwebsland WANT NAO!! -
Wow! I knew there were a lot of Who fans here, didn't know this many. Ok, so I guess the feel of opinion is to start with the 05 Season (Eccelston?) and work my way forward to now? That will put me through 3 different Dr.s then? Is that kinda what I am hearing is a good way to start?
So the Dr.s and their "companions" are not always romanticly linked? I thought they were. For some reason (and I could be totaly off here) I remember the Tom Baker Dr. being something of a player (for his time that is). But not being a real watcher of the show I could be way off on that. I thought the various Dr.s were all "Ladies Men" and charmers of some sort.
And thanks so much for the info folks. I appreciate it. -
When I was younger my brother watched the show all the time, but I was not that into it. It had a bushy haired guy with this really really long scarf as the Dr. But as I was flipping channels the other day I found a newer (I assume) episode of Dr. Who where he went back in time and changed this dudes past WHILE he was watching his own past on some sort of TV. The storyline really grabbed my attention as well as the acting, so i guess this old Sci-Fi fan should go ahead and give the Dr. a fair shake. So I have some questions, to whit;
1. Who is this Dr. And is he supposed to be the same guy as before, or an all new Time Lord
2. How many seasons have there been with this new (to me) guy and should I get the first one on DVD?
3. Is there a good website that would list any important history stuff between the old (long scarf) Dr. I remember and this guy, if they are supposed to be different people.
4. I know there have been several Dr.s since the show started, how many have been between this guy in the episode I mentioned, and the one I remember from my youth (long scarf guy)?
5. There was a hot "warrior" chick in the one I remember from way back. Is she in any more of them? I remember her being really cool. Wore leather and was pretty badass.
Thanks all you Dr. Who fans for your time. Hopefully I can get into a new show. Well, till Big Bang Theory and House come back that is. -
I'll give you Will Smith for sure. If just for Ali even. And as somebody who LOVES Tim Curry (but hates Rocky Horror Picture Show with every fiber of my being), I am kinda surprised to see Woody Harelson higher. That one seems really off to me. But the rest of the list is not that bad. Sure a few glaring omissions, but not too horrible.

Quote:I'm not sure what made me giggle more. This post or your first one. I thought you were half joking at first. Like listing, I don't know, Hayden Christianson (sp) or something! But that you are serious is HI-LARIOUS!Keanu is as good as or better an actor as a number of the "top people" on that list. The difference between them is that Keanu picks the stoic non-emotive role all the time while those "great" actors pick the same expressive role all the time. Micheal Clark Duncan hardly ever plays the same role and shows massive acting chops yet you think he doesn't deserve to be on a list where the majority don't act but rather play themselves and the character in the script just match up. If that's how you are going to judge then Keanu belong on that list as much if not more than a number of those guys.

Quote:DUDE!! Get outta my brain! Sooooo spot on!11. Corruptor - half second-rate Defender, half second-rate Blaster, all suck.
13. Controller - an AT whose job is to make things not move. Wheee.
One really neat thing I have gotten outta this thread is seeing all the folks with similar likes to mine listing Night Widows so high. I think I might have to give them another look. I tried one once, but didn't really put much into her. I'll give em another whack. -
But what about a costume? Since they are stored on my computer (assuming I saved them) could I move a saved costume from the file "beta" on my computer to the file "live" on my computer and have access to that costume there? I know, I know, I can just re-make it on live, but thats just a pain is all.
And I am not asking that in an attempt to get around owning a certain "pack". I have them all so that is not the issue. -
1. Blasters
2. Brutes
3. Scrappers
4. Stalkers
5. Tanks
6. MM's
Then everything else, with Controllers on the BOTTOM of the list. -
I found 162. He is the Lego Duplo Figure, Little Robot

Good job on your other calls though. -
177 is the dog robot from Astro Boy. Really surprised he wasn't in there but his dog was?!
-
-
121 is named "Robot" from Heavy Metal the movie. (the first one, not that crappy second one) He is voiced by John Candy in the segment "So Beautiful And So Dangerous".
-
37 is "Crichton" from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. The tv show.
-
71 is the robot named "Necron 99" who gets named "Peace" after he loses his taste for war, from the cartoon Wizards.
-
49 is NOT Metal Mickey. I'm not sure who that is, but 49 is one of Asimov's "Cutie" robots...

Quote:I like it. Now I wonder if there will be a story arc or something to give us a reason for the change.
This (unlike certain people think) is a GREAT idea. A short arc that might contain the old outfits and a neat story as to why the change occured would be very cool. Perhaps I might AE one. -
WOW!!! Some of those are a smaller womans total calorie intake for over a DAY! IN ONE MEAL!! Wow. But DANG if it all does not look CRAZY YUMMY! Curse you fat! Why must you taste so dang good!
-
I nevr read the series, but didn't they somehow get seperated or something? Like in seperate bodies? And then there was a grey one. I'm confused. Perhaps I should read his Wiki or something.

Quote:It'll be released when it's ready at which point it'll be really cool, it won't include anything for <insert item here>, it'll be loaded with bugs, it'll be the best ever, it'll be the worst ever, dogs and cats will live together and it'll be mass chaos.
I just wanted to get all the opinions out there
You forgot DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM -
Well, there was a huge gamble on the Blaster boards about Dark Manipulation, so somebody start a pool about the release date.
