The other night, my wife and I stumbled upon a NPC in Port Oaks, NE by the fort. I'm at work so I forget her name and can't look it up, at any rate, she basically wouldn't talk to us because we didn't defeat enough ghosts. We proceeded to pound on a bunch of pirate ghosts in that area, but it wasn't enough for her. Don't know how many she needs us to beat or what will happen next, one of these nights we'll just do that and find out. Never saw any treasure chests though.

Actually what you need to do is drag a ghost to the various traps that are laying about inside the fort and defeat them atop/near it. Took me a while to figure it out also as the contact isn't very clear about what exactly she wants or how to go about it. First badge is at 50 Ghosts and the second is at 100. -

No, this is a REAL problem. I've played a lot of CoH, and I can tell you we are very cash poor in CoV.
And it is now serious. Apparently level 19, is the breaking point. I'm now at level 18, and DREADING getting to 19. That's because almost all my enhancements will turn red, and i won't have anywhere near enough infamy to get enhancements, And with most of my enhancements going red, i won't have the power to get the infamy.
Thus, I hate to say it, but I think it is best if I stop playing till I hear there is some remedy here. Otherwise I'll level myself into an inability to continue...

We couldn't POSSIBLY put extra rewards on those... could we?

You know.. Maybe I just didn't catch it when I defeated all the pirates, but I never noticed any extra rewards for the treasure chests. Do they have pirates in all the zones? I've only seen them in Port Oaks. -

Tanks get stronger defenses then a Brute does. They may not have the damage a Brute does but dishing out damage is not what a Tank is supposed to be doing, aggro management is their game. -

I suppose that if you have fully slotted shields AND regularly team up with enough +RES members to put you at the cap (that would be six of them, I think?), you'd be more fragile because you wouldn't get any bonus from removing the resistance penalty....anything less than that and you should be gaining survivability in human form, though. Even if you've always got five +RES teammates and they're always in range, you'd be going from 18% damage taken to 15% damage taken.

I could have sworn I suggested leaving the resistance debuff and keeping the higher hit points, and then boosting the resistance bonus for teammates.

The resistance debuff is being taken out because States said that it was hurting the solo and small team player too much.
