Hi everyone,

Ok here we are at week 17 and I started off the week with a few less than acceptable pieces I tried to ink with inferior tools. Needless to say I took a step back and went back to my roots going back to the style I feel most comfortable with, namely realism and pencil. The following pieces I did there after and I felt better about the outcome of these than those at the beginning of the week. I hope everyone likes them and thanks for watching.

So I was trying to put together a Formspring Meet and greet for this month and I was wondering if you wanted to merge the two meet ups, the OTG and the formspring meet and greet for next saturday 9pm est but instead of having it in Gemini park maybe have it at club 55? I was going to request a cape DJ and everything! Is this something you guys would be up for?

Ok here we are at week 15 and I decided this week to take my time on each piece and to not rush myself on to crank out as many pieces as I could like I had been doing. I also decided to just let the process flow without planning out the pieces and styles I wanted to showcase and just let my pencil speak for itself like I used to do. Hi to anyone whom has been following these;

I'd like to thank MP for taking over the prompts for the month of December while I was working my fingers to the bone and my Grandmother was dieing of lung cancer. My Grandmother passed away the saturday before Christmas and Mind and the others whom contributed did an excellent Job and the entries I read where wonderful. Thank you Mind for stepping up.

To everyone as a whole I'd like to apologize to those of you whom have been enjoying the posts but I'm still not 100% ready to take up writing right now. I'm not playing much city, I'm not really feeling rp and the only art of any kind I feel like doing is drawing so I'll be keeping up mainly on my various Arts threads I have here on virtue and the Art forum. I'm also enjoying Formspring if anyone cares to chat with Rosie ICly.

To everyone else whom doesn't care, I wish you all a wonderful new year and remember to have fun.

This is GREAT Henri!

It blows my mind that your still an amateur at coloring and did this good a job. The fixes you made, to his face where sweet and I love the shading on the under arm portion of leather, and the flow of the fabric of his tunic. The only constructive criticism I could give is what Bubba said above, but its to epic to really find fault with it at all.

Thanks for picking my piece to color, I love seeing my work pop into life like this, and the interpretations of the different artists.

This is the last week I'll be doing this, so if you have been thinking about posting do so soon!

Thanks everyone for your words of sympathy, encouragement, understanding and condolences. I'm not a big one for expressing my emotions publicly so I'll say that we had the best Christmas we possibly could considering and your prayers and words are truly appreciated.

I'm still feeling kind of blah, but I'll post up any work I do this week on Friday as per usual. At least its something to keep my mind busy or blank as the case may be.

To everyone whom has been following this thread;

My Grandmother died of lung cancer this past Saturday night at 2:54am, she had been battling cancer for a year and a half and my family had been right there with her helping her in her fight the whole way. With a saddened heart but peaceful mind she left us, no longer suffering and in pain dieing in her sleep is all the mercy anyone could ask for in death and this Christmas just wont be the same without her smile, laughter and enthusiasm.

My family celebrated her life on Tuesday and I've been helping my mother as much as possible with the funeral and Holiday celebrations all week which we have decided to go forward with despite our sorrow knowing that its what my Grandma would have wanted. On top of all of this it has been the busies time of year at my job and one of my co-workers has been out of the office leaving me with triple the workload than normal.

Needless to say this week has been like the 9th circle of hell and I have not had a moments peace to myself let alone to do the sketches I had wanted to do this week. I apologize to any whom where looking forward to this weeks update I had hoped to find some time this week but could not get past a few rudimentary outlines so I hope everyone understands my lack of submission for this week. trust me no one is as disappointed as myself.

I wish all of you a happy and healthy Holiday and a New Year filled with love laughter and joy.

WOW Henry that looks great so far! That ice effect is pretty cool how did you manage it? Cant wait to see it finished.

I've had some people asking me for commissions, not sure what to say I never thought anyone would like my little duck faced creations well enough for a commission. So any advice would be appreciated.
