OH gees, if I stuck to only a series of certain colors, this would not be one of "my" pieces... that's just not in me. In fact the VIRS piece is totally out of control... and I played around with it a lot trying to tone it down. In my defense I am trying to keep my saturations done.

Ack , while I wish that was true, I hope I don't ever let anyone down... personally I think my work has gotten better, because I'm not only trying to please myself, but also a client... there's a difference in stuff you do for fun, as gifts or just to keep in practice.

And this being the first time I've really sold my work, it's a challenge to pull something out of myself (um okay that sounds pretty bad)... see this is what happens when you team with Buck.

Anyway in short, I have always wanted to do this type of work, I find each new piece to be like a Christmas gift, I just can't wait to get to them.

This was done as a commission piece for Ransim of her toon Ava Adore, and her friend Brendan Aft... The play together, and their toons have a back story which is incorporated here as the premise for this work.
