Is Joe stealing Weaver One's orbital space platform of death since he isn't using it? Of course he will have to somehow get Lady Athyna out of it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Haha... you're funny.
[/ QUOTE ]
ain't he just? That won't last long, I almost have target lock.
[/ QUOTE ]
Shame on you targeting Joe/Hero One like that.
[/ QUOTE ]
we weren't. Hold still this is going to hurt a lot.
[/ QUOTE ]
Set it to wide-beam. Holding still is unnecessary.
[/ QUOTE ]
You know it is for things like this that I kept the flying sharks with lasers mounted on their heads handy. Simply attach false transponders to them and let them go....
[/ QUOTE ]
Careful dear, that's how we lost Siberia. -

<3 Hero One! -

The person in charge of COH's lore is Hero One, and speaking of shy... I'm still trying to get this guy to take a step out and introduce himself.
[/ QUOTE ]
Would he feel better if he had his own fan club cause there's a decent percentage of forumites who've posted <3 for the story arcs. -

Question!
Will this transaction have a positive impact on the Cathedral of Pain getting implemented and base raids being touched up and finalized, or are they essentially off the table now at this point?
[/ QUOTE ]
I can't answer for NC but, recently Ex and LH have shown a bit of a soft spot for PvP. If they're now part of the company calling the shots, I think it's a safe bet that Base Raids and such might be getting some attention soon. -

I just want to be sure. Are we still going to have?
War Witch
JLove
BAB
Castle
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. Either this thread or the one in the announcements section. Everyone on the Co* dev team except Jack (and he hasn't really been that involved for awhile anyway) is going with the new company. -

No, I lack orbital satellites with lasers or missiles.

Is there someone that should go away?

If I were a man, I'd say really raunchy things to you declaring undying love and other such stuffs. ROCK ON!
Also, the little doohickey with the maps and directions and crap in my car has Ozzy's voice when there's no kidlets in said car. His directions aren't rated T.
Also, Happy b-day Villains! Happy b-day Pohsyb!
...I wonder if that's a coincidence... -

Hurricanes I know, even Tornados.
The very earth under my feet trying to kick my a*s??
I would <LEROY!!1> myself.
[/ QUOTE ]
You and me both!
Hubby and I were driving to Orlando once, heard that unmistakable train whistle sound, no problem. Been through a dozen or so hurricanes, we've got the plan down pat... when to switch over to the genny, when to mix the hurricanes and other drinks, when to fire up the hottub... no problem. The earth mad? Screw that!
Hey Ex, just tell us that I-11 is still on schedule and we're cool. Also, as I've said right there ^, the only way I know of to deal with natural type disasters requires copious amounts of liquor. Y'all need some? -

I watched the Powers Video, but one thing mentioned was that Willpower was the 'most popular defensive set requested'. I thought the most popular defensive set of the poll was Shields?
I understand that Shields are the most difficult of all of the defensive sets that were in the New Power Set Poll, which is why we won't be able to get it until later, but it should be noted that Willpower is one of the most requested defensive power sets (rather than the most requested)
[/ QUOTE ]
WP was most requested -and- possible. It's my understanding that shields as a powerset just isn't possible right now. Granted, the game could change and it could be possible later, but who wants to wait a couple of years for a new powerset? -

Why is it that I can't get any of the CoH Windows media movies to play? I have the latest player and have zero problem with any other site. The CoH ones simply will not work.
Downloading the Quicktime version now. Need to wait and see if that one works.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope, corrupted. Anyone else have this problem?
[/ QUOTE ]
It played for me, just paused itself constantly to buffer stuff. -

Oops. Sorry Castle. -

One question. How close is Annah to the zone entrance in Croatoa or Granny Beldam in Nerva? I have onle one level 25 hero and no villians that high - closest is level 22.
Just curious, as I'd like to know if I can get my slightly lower toons there without getting roasted.
[/ QUOTE ]
Granny is right where you'd appear if you use an SG teleporter.
Annah is very close to the tram.
The coordinates for both are at those links. -

I wish there was an NPC category for costumes. That carnie clone last year was awesome, and I've got the makings of a wicked Tsoo Sorcerer outfit.
However, I'm pretty much barred from dressing as any of my in-game characters. I'm nowhere near 8 feet tall, and even if I fudge the height, there's still the fact that I am plus sized, and any of my character's costumes most likely would look terrible on a figure like mine. Nobody wants to see a fat woman in tight leather, and most armour on an oversized body only magnifies the chunk factor.
I don't plan on making a whole new character just to have one that looks like me, or something I could throw together with stuff from my closet. That's a little too close to cheating, IMHO.

Didja see the guy a couple years ago who made demon feet? He was basically standing on stilts. -

Seriously though, super special awesome that it goes until the 4th. My family's gone the 23-30th so I thought I was gonna have to cram it all in one day!

I'm not sure he still plays either. I haven't seen him post lately.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm hoping he's just playing the game. He never was a big poster but damn, his costumes frikken rule! -
I wish Dr Zeus had resubbed by now. He always made awesome costumes.
Ah well, I shall satisfy my inner geek by anxiously awaiting Avonlea's submission. -

Still no Athy or LiquidX=Boo! And don't tell me to write in questions cause I have been but either they suck or that send a message via the forums thing is broken. Seriously guys if the advice columns aren't working write something else already.

I got it. Really I did. But I didn't get Thursday and most stuff has to be done by Wednesday so the poor souls trying to whip everything into format can get it done.
Look for it next week. -

Bug Hunter is that a badge?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. According to that link, it's been awarded twice, ever. One bug, I know, was found on the live servers. -
[ QUOTE ]
I merely ask as I've Beta tested AA, Tabula Rasa, CoV, CoH, Dungeon Runners...
My question, though, was just a kind of "How does one get experience in a thing if one cannot get access to a thing" observation.
I don't really want to test the new stuff: I -like- seeing it new when it goes live.
Hell, I've STILL not run the Statesman Task Force.
[/ QUOTE ]
I said elsewhere, I suspect it's part chosen/part random. The choosing? Anything and everything probably. Bug reports both on live and on test, friend of a mod/dev (no they aren't bribable, I tried that)...
I'm thinking, to get a diverse pool of testers, they'd want some powergamers, some casual gamers, some number-ey people and so on and so forth. I was in I-9 beta and there were a few folks who'd only recently started playing CoH/V and hadn't even installed the test server. So, part chosen/part random makes sense to me.
Eh, it's just a guess. They'll probably never spill the gory details. -

Ill miss shooting stupid ideas down by saying "/JRanger"
Ah oh well. whatever improves the forums, I guess!
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, let's all be creative here. If we can't use /JRanger, then maybe we can use /RJanger? Or how about /REgnarj? There's also /GNarjer. Plenty of stuff to choose from. If one word responses aren't good enough, then about 15 applications of any combination of these should suffice, right?
Yeah, I thought so.
Asking people to behave themselves is one thing. Telling people they should post a certain way or post a certain minimum required number of words or post a required argument or what have you is just one big slippery slope. If we keep going that way, we may end up with people being prosecuted because they didn't post the correct way.
Far as I'm concerned, self-moderation is as much about what you post as how you can handle what other people post. But we never see our moderators asking us to not overreact. They're always asking us to watch what we post. Let's hope we'll get fewer people banned in THIS iteration of the exact same thread a second time over.
[/ QUOTE ]
And I thought this was way worse.
Jeeze people, relax. -

Oh come on. At least toss a
"because I said so" in there.
When my daughter does this she gets:
No
why not?
Because I'm cooking dinner. You can see that.
but I want one! *now whining*
I might have given you one after dinner but you just lost that as well. Any other questions?
...no...
[/ QUOTE ]
Fine then. There you go. From now on all my negative replies on the forum will only be "No because i said so". It's longer to type than just no but its still acceptable.

I'm the mommy, that's why.
