Good to see others wanting to chip in on making a Hamidon Raid
Most of the players know the strategy that I've used as Raid Leader. Its stickied up here on the forums
I guess it would be best to use this strategy as I've said, I have a feeling people have gotten used to it.

Advice inc:
Your not giving yourself much time as a coordinator, but get your team leaders as quick as possible. So that you have the leadership ready.
They have to help/make their team and lead them in doing their job, so you can be freed up doing yours. I've written some hints etc for every type of player in the raid Coordinator-Raid Leader /Team leader / Raider.

Do not be afraid of the list that I've written about Coordinator (first rule), so I'll say it again, do not be afraid!

If your not in Sals badgehunters, then make certain you are, also be in Union Taskforce.
At an evening ask if people would like to join in as raid team leaders on your current date. (Cause you need players that know how to lead your teams)

Well rest of what I would advice would be in the hamidon guide I wrote (heavily influenced by a few players that has either led Hamiraids or know alot of the game)
I wish you luck on the Hami raid, and I will see if I can attend

Also, make certain you give the time of the raid a little more precise time. GMT/CET...?

or a shorter story, soo I'll give a brief summary here:

The Lady Arete is originally from England, married up into British upper-class. Before she thus became a Lady she had her tutoring in magic. She is a natural sorceress, who well did not use her power in ways to serve man.
After a few adventurers in England she took a longer vacation in the US, namely Paragon City. She came into contact with the Circle, worked with them and then during a more horrible encounter with them started unworking with them and battle them.
She is mostly a scarred soul that well have learned her lessons the hard way and now work as a hero.

Caemgen was kind enough to include her in his commision here.

If you are still looking for more characters to draw, well here is mine.
Short version: Sorceress and thus spell caster, hates Circle of thorn with a passion. She tapped into a Phoenix and thusly if she falls, like the phoenix she gets "reborn". Loves relaxing in Founders Falls with a cup of tea (or cappuchino).

I'm happy that we finally will get rid of the server list segregation, and yes the global names are the real problemthingy. How should the Devs handle it?

Devs, you already have the appropriate tools or way of establishing who gets what.
Veteran badges.

As said earlier in this thread use that to find out who should get a NA or EU name token added (or whatever you decide in the end).
If names conflict between the two prior lists, let the paid veteran time decide.

I do not mind getting an EU tag on my name, but I would hope that all the time and money I've put into the game would count for something. I've had the same global name since I started about 5 years ago. If another had the same and had more Veteran time, then no problem. But if someone with less then my amount of time on the current NA list gets it, it would be less fair. Even worse if a Trial account, inactive or otherwise gets to get the name instead of a veteran player.
So please for the sense of fair play, Devs, Please, please use fairness.
Amount of Veteran time before Active account (in good standing) Before Inactive accounts (in good standing). Trials should not even count.

Finally the segragation between the serverlists will be at an end, I just hope we can start that without making new errors.
As said previously, its neither the NA that gets merged into the EU list, nor the EU list that gets merged into the NA list, but both lists getting merged into the one new server list.

What many of the players so far has commented on and being afraid of is that the EU simply will be once again get treated as an illegitimate son/daughter. After all one server list gets preference over the other, not anything equal like with the forum names. (NA/EU prefix)

So Devs please for the time when we will be as one, do make use of the Veteran rewards as the basis of who gets what name. And active accounts in good standing before inactive (and even Trial) accounts.

Hmm you need a few channels to get some new friends, so here are some:
Sals badgehunters (a channel we use to do badgehunting and start task forces)
Union Taskforce (a channel we use to start taskforces and various events)
Union Chat (The channel to speak about anything else and become friends with new players)

Can't really help with the sg thing myself, but the global channels are sort of my sg(s) now
in case you have forgotten how to join a global channel just write:
/chan_join "Union Chat"
in example

May you find new friends very quickly

Well good thing that we do have the wedding pack then.

The obvious answer will be Virtue for many of us. I do believe I will visit, but I do not think i will transfer any chars over. (Got too few as it is)

But being able to make chars on 15 servers instead of just 4 = sweet
So many new players to play with.

Yes Tsumiju it is a sweet feeling to know several players took on Hamidon for their first time

And we are getting it done in a good ganking manner aswell. Even if I somehow managed to press the wrong buttons before a wave (a few times)

We started about 7pm gmt, forming teams, doing that little cabal. Spawning Hamidon and fighting hamidon.
I think we have not done it faster then this. about 1 hour and 40 min after we where done.

Sad to have heard this happen to you. I'd advice make a a new channel asap. Let the mods be the few players you trust and keep it that way.
(This reminds me too much of the fate of a channel I loved being in which also got high-jacket)

Great, come with the character that you would like to join the Raid with. If your unsure as to what to bring keep it simple. Look at what your char can do and ask what do the character bring to the raid; Tanking, Healing, Health buffs, Damage (melee or ranged), Debuff etc.
Each team needs something and well the team leaders and I will use what we get
So lets Raid and get ourself some Gello (Rawr)

Oh, last raid:
The zone was almost full at the moment of scheduled time. So do make certain to get there as early as you can. Teams are beginning to form when there are enough team leaders and players to start the process.
When you do enter the zone and want to do a broadcast it will be very helpful to the Team leaders if you say things like this.
Example, I enter with Lady Arete, my blaster.
Broadcast: Ranged damage seeking team for hami.
or if your a widow and specialize in melee:
Broadcast: Melee damage Widow seeking team.
This will help the team leader as he or she might think (Oh.. just want I need. *clicks invite button*)

(Instead of lvl 50 scrapper lft... which might be a concept char and have more ranged attacks then melee attacks... well you get the picture )

And thus Neko Necro (or Necro Neko), the mastermind of the dead in the Rogue Island (or maybe just a lawabiding citizen of Praetoria) was born?

So... who is going to be the Raid Leader for Defiant Hamidon Run. When will it take place and from what time?

(For the Raid Leader/Coordinators own sanity... this should be decided/known before the weekend gets here. To get more details going, team leader list written, binds made, Team leaders briefed... aka Preperations.
Also, to be certain that there are enough EoE's...
An EoE hunt should be done on a busy weekday (same week as raid).

Asking since i do not know who is going to lead this raid, and i'm going to lead a raid the 25'th on Union.
Would be fun knowing Defiant did the same and we sort of did it Back-To-Back

Well Mr Blackmore, either will give you a different perspective of the raid.
(Do check the Guide in the sticky of Union if your unsure)

If you join as your tank, you will most likely be recruited into one of the tank teams. Your task as a tank will be to keep one yellow taunted, then do melee damage or taunt other mitos.
If your with your troller you will be using alot of single holds on the green mitos. Thus keeping some out of loop and when the time comes to hold the green that the melee team will target. (If they are the first one finished with their mitos... which is usual)
Usually we are a little short on Tanks though (saying this now I get the feeling we will be short on Holders now... ) but either will work well. So bring the one you want to experience Hamidon on.

EoE's... well I got a huge amount of eoe's in the base (so many that i .. kinda dont know what to do with them all )
So I do not think i will be hosting an EoE hunt. However if other players feel they would like to go hunt monsters, then by all means.

When we start we will begin the spawning process (so make certain you got room in your inspiration slots) and some EoE's are bound to drop for the teams
