teams 1 to 5
Pick a name out of the hat... so first one out is playing in team 1 , 2nd in team 2.. like that throughout the ATs?
that way we can be sure theres no uber teams>?

Sounds good but obviously people would need to be sensible, possibly the signup involves put up to 3 toons they want to use in order and full up slots that way.

Pentad is good.
But seriously unless there's hardcore prizes I don't see it taking off. S4 worked because everything was new, there wasn't a team right at the top of the skill/experience ladder, there wasn't a set best team that'll work 9/10 times. It was just a bunch of people dicking about having a laugh trying to win free stuff.
Now though, I don't know. As much as I'd love a new pentad ladder backed by NC, I can't see it coming soon.

S4 was so long ago now that most of the people that took part in it have left the game now So theres no reason why the newer guys wouldn't be able to make something from this.

I understand that Team PvP is hard to come by. Thats why i run a weekly PvP Night on test. Come along with no preconceptions and just play and enjoy. Yes people that come are experience PvP'ers but are always wanting to encourage more PvP'ers
The people that come to Mondays feel the same and are always looking for new challenges in PvP.... -
The thing is.
The people that like to PvP and PvP often are a certain type of person. They don't like to lose, they are very competitive. Or i would say so. A natural reaction for me if i was duel someone. would be to ask what i am fighting to make sure i take the right toon. To win or at least draw.
1v1 Duels are very much Paper Scissors Rock. Simple the game isn't balanced for 1v1. The game is always balance to Team PvP.
What do you expect to happen when you ask for a fight?
Scrapper V Scrappers are really boring match's same for Tankers V Tankers. The best matchs are the squishy battles theres more at stake with less inherent protection to damage or mes protection.
People are always goona look for a way to win.
