Looking out of the door, Toy did indeed see a yellow clad hero being fired upon by sveral 5th Column troops. The rapid thudding of booted feet made it clear that soon the hero would be completely outnumbered. Frowning to himself, Toy issued orders to his bots telling them to attack and destroy the hero if they could, drive him off if they couldn't.

Then, while, Flieschman was occupied and his bots were fighting, Toy stepped closer to Essex and pulled a small chip from his right wrist compartment. It seemed as though Flieschman hadn't noticed the switch he had made, exchanging the real FWAM chip for an uncoded chip that Toy carried around for emergency repairs. He looked over at Fleischman again and saw that she was blocked from his view by a small crowd of soldiers waiting to cycle through the airlock four at a time.

"Now where do I put this?" Toy said aloud as he looked Essex over. "I suppose in your head somewhere but designers can be weird sometimes, huh."

Toy scratched his head and tried to figure out how he was going to do this before the soldiers moved.

Toy wordlessly held his hand out and Fleischman handed him the chip so he could get a closer look at it. Turning the chip round and round in his fingers, Toy glanced at Essex and then at the doctor.

"A Free Will Allowance Module and artificial DNA, eh? Somewhat a pity that she won't be allowed to have the first one anymore. It would have been very interesting to see if she outgrew her cowardly traits," Toy said and then handed the chip back to Flieschman. "After all, as an independant android myself, I take a certain curiosity in learning how the same thing occurs with other robots. But since you are mainly interested in the artificial DNA, which I am most certainly not, I won't bore you with some of the more amusing experiments I have had attempting to reproduce my own form of free will."

Shrugging, as if none of this was his concern, Toy patted Essex on the head.

"Are you planning on getting rid of her after you find out how the DNA is created? Or will you have her reassigned to this base as a loyal super? I've worked for people that have had situations like this on their hands and I've always found their decisions...unique," Toy said as he looked from Essex to the doctor.

EDIT: I think Essex is inside the base with Toy and the good doctor. The only things out there that aren't 5th Column are Toy's bots and they'd probably shoot you as soon as look at you. I suppose you could have seen her through a port hole or something. *shrug*

Toy raised up both hands in a placating gesture.

"It's ok, it's ok. I was just a bit curious as to what a known hero was doing in this base," Toy explained. "She came across me during my mission and mentioned that she was working with the Longbow over at Beta Base. Now I find her here all brainwashed or something."

Toy lowered his hands and cocked his head to one side to look at Essex from a slightly different angle.

"But I guess reprogramming would be the best term, seeing as how she is an android. Very human looking though, very nice work. I might be interested in talking with her creator about the programming work he did on her personality."

Toy Dispenser paused for a moment and Flieschman opened her mouth to speak but Toy interuppted her.

"And rest assured that there would not have been a fight. Not only is my Threat Level much higher than hers, but a simple detention field would have prevented any collatoral damage. Like so."

Flicking his wrist, Toy projected a detention field around Essex for a few moments and then canceled it. He then looked down at Fleischman and his other hand started tapping against his leg.

"How did you capture her, anyway?"

OOC: Hey Devious? The commander of Alpha Base is Kommandant Backer, whom I created a little ways back. Fleichsman is the science tech or something, which is why she was programming Essex.

BIC: "I love uneventful walks," remarked Toy to himself as he stepped up to the base's airlock. Stepping inside, Toy ordered his bots to remain outside and then sat back while he waited for the lock to cycle. After it finished, Toy keyed open the door and then stepped out. Idley rolling his previously injured shoulder out of boredom, Toy Dispenser mentally retraced his path back to the Kommandant's office.

Answering a couple of friendly nods from soldiers passing by the airlock, Toy assumed that Verdant had indeed gotten here before him and had spread a good word in his favor. Feeling that all was right with the world, Toy started walking down the hall and then froze as something finally registered. Slowly turning his head, Toy started straight at a forlone looking pink robot sitting in a corner.

"Essex? What the hell?" Toy said as he stepped over to the defender. He bent down close to her and waved his hand in front of her face. "Hey, kid, you alright? I thought you were over at the other place with the rest of the good guys."

"I really, really hate these buggers," muttered Toy as he pulled a chunk of rock out of his left shoulder joint. Rotating the arm, he found that its mobility was limited by about 10%. An acceptable number, but something to be fixed as soon as possible.

"You don't know the meaning of hate for these things," said Verdant from his perch on the torso of a Pumicite.

Toy shrugged and got his four robots, Toy Bot and Large Toy having fallen in the fighting, back into a defensive formation. Pointing forward, Toy and the group moved out, trying to escape these caverns as quickly as possible.

Several other small groups of Pumicites blocked their way, but Toy's overwhelming firepower and Verdant's experience killing the Pumicites cleared the creatures out quickly. Toy was just dusting some more Pumicite dust off of his armor when the group finally emerged out into the sunlight. Verdant shouted for joy and then knelt down and bumped his head against the ground as though trying to kiss it through his helmet. Toy Dispenser merely sighed with satisfaction at getting out of there alive and then tapped in a few commands. A minute later, a replacement Large Toy and Toy Bot had been orbitally inserted and linked up with the rest of their fellows. After that was done and Verdant had gone on ahead after expressing his belief that he could get back to base faster on his own, Toy dialed up Kommandant Backer on his radio.

    "This is Alpha Base."

"Alpha Base, this is Toy Dispenser. The package is on your way but somebody ignored the 'Handle With Care' sticker."

"Roger, Toy Dispenser. Did any guests arrive?"

"Lots of em but they were all party crashers. All I can say is that you could build a lot of houses out here now."

"Very good, Toy Dispenser. The Kommandant will be pleased. Return to base ASAP, your next assignment will be waiting."

"Loud and clear, Alpha Base. Toy Dispenser, out."

Shutting off his radio, Toy stretched his arms over his head and lazily looked back at his bots.

"Alright boys," he said. "Let's get back to base. Can't dissappoint the old mercenary code of honor now could we?"

"I've always subscribed to the 'break it and take it' line of thought myself," replied Combat Toy.

"And that," Toy said as he pointed at the assault bot. "That, is why I'm the boss and you're just a minion. Now then, enough back talk, let's get going."

OOC: Soooooooooo then. Is Toy going to run into anybody out there or will I have an uneventful trip back?
  6. I'll give it a shot. Try to think up some questions that would be asked of a mercenary mastermind android called Toy Dispenser. If you need to check out a bit of background in order to think of good questions, you can check out the link in my sig.

"Well..." said Toy Dispenser at length after he watched Essex fly off. "That was somewhat disappointing. It would have been nice to chat for a while but orders are orders and sub-clauses count as orders."

Shrugging, Toy Dispenser turned the motion into a roll of his shoulder which brought his laser rifle to bear directly on Combat Toy's sensor strip.

"And I have had it up to here," Toy brought his free hand up to his neck, "Up to here with your insolence, Combat Toy! Do you want to live out the rest of your 'life' as a mindless AR drone? Because I can certainly arrange for that if you not stop questioning me!"

The giant assault bot shuddered once and took a few steps back.

"Sorry, boss. It won't happen again."

"It better not," spat Toy and he whipped his gun down and stalked off toward the next cavern. His bots, temporarily stunned into mobility, scattered and scrambled to form up around their leader.

    *************************************

Ten endless minutes and about four dozen Moon Pumicites later, Toy heard gunfire coming from ahead that wasn't his own. Abruptly breaking into a sprint, Toy dashed in the direction of the noise, praying that he and his robots would arrive in time.

"Die you god-forsaken piles of horse dung!" shouted a voice over the heavy gunfire. It took Toy a moment to realize that the voice had spoken in German, meaning that the mercenary had finally found the remains of the 5th Column patrol.

Skidding around a corner, Toy shouldered his rifle and fired a quick blast down the long corridor in front of him at one of a trio of Pumicites that were attacking a lone soldier. Right behind Toy were his robots and they dashed past Toy and bulldozed into the Pumicites. A short, furious blaze of fire power later, Toy was stepping over the ruined carcass of a Pumicite and extending his hand toward the soldier.

"Good to see one of you are still alive," he said to the Nazi. "I feared that there would be no one left in this damned place."

The soldier wearily took his hand and shook it.

"Thank god. I had thought that my entire patrol had been written off. Your IF signature checks out but I know you aren't 5th Column. Are you one of those villains that Backer promised to get?" the soldier asked.

"That I am. Toy Dispenser is my name. Now then, what happened to the rest of the patrol. Are any left alive?"

"No, I am the last. Those damned rockmen got Hans barely five minutes ago and they nearly got me too. I'm Patrol Leader Verdant, by the way."

"Well then, Patrol Leader Verdant, let us get the hell out of Dodge," Toy said and then froze.

From behind the small group of terrestrials, there came a sound akin to the crushing of rock and the rolling of stones. Straightening up slowly, Toy turned around and looked behind him. A large group of Pumicites then rounded the corner and, upon seeing enemies, started shouting in their strange, echoing language.

"This doesn't look good," muttered Verdant as he slotted another clip into his assault rifle.

"We can take em," replied Toy nonchalantly as he activated his force field flanges and dropped protective fields around his robots and Verdant. Resting his rifle against his shoulder, Toy sighted down its body and took aim. "Time to dispense the pain!" he shouted and fired.

Toy shook his head after Essex stopped talking. A muffled clanking drew attention to his attendant bots, which had suddenly moved forward. The big assault bot looked down on the small defender, its red sensor strip glowing menacingly.

"Paragon, huh?" Toy said after putting a hand out in front of Combat Toy. The bot looked down at its master but it did stop moving.

"This is quite unfortunate. I assume that neither your creator nor the officials at Moon Base Beta gave you much in the way of the situation here?" Toy asked.

    "Situation?" Essex echoed.

Toy sighed and multipled panels up and down his sides popped open. Removing a small black component from each panel, which promptly shut afterward, the mastermind rapidly put together a laser rifle which he let hang down by his side.

"To put it simply, my dear, the two of us are enemies. I am working for the current owners of Moon Base Alpha, the 5th Column. You are working for the owners of Moon Base Beta, the Freedom Corps. As you see, it could never work out," Toy lifted up the gun and leveled it at Essex's head. "But let it never be said that Toy Dispenser is not honorable. A life for a life. You saved me and I shall spare you. Flee now, while you can, for the next time we meet it shall be as enemies."

Combat Toy loomed over Essex, a thing that it did well, and boomed out in its deep voice.

"I'll look forward to smashing your pretty little head in, cape."

Toy's outstretched arm shot up and clouted Combat Toy in the chin.

Toy tilted his head and looked down at Essex.

"Essex, eh? Thank you for the compliment, young robot," Toy said and then chuckled. "And I had better work well with my bots. If not, I wouldn't be much of a mastermind now would I? Now a quick question for you: Are you another of the Kommandant's mercenaries or perhaps one of his support bots? I don't remember him mentioning any other super under his command."

    Moon Missions

"Protect the boss!" roared Combat Toy as it rammed into the Pumicite standing over Toy's motionless form, knocking the rock creature away and to the ground. Then it lifted up its cannons and blasted the Pumicite a new air hole in its chest. Mini Bot, a battle drone, had leapt atop one of the new attackers, relentlessly pounding his claw hand on the Pumicite's face while it ran around in circles, trying to get the little drone off. The other bots were also busy engaging hostiles when Essex flew in and hit Toy with Revive.

Things clicking and whirring as he came back on-line, Toy watched as the world became a point of light that suddenly expanded and widened until he could see his assault bot standing over him, firing a barrage of missiles at something outside his field of vision. Struggling to his feet and wondering what the hell had happened, Toy shouted commands.

"Focus fire! Take them out one by one! Proc bots! Drop some shields on everyone! Combat Toy! Forget the flamethrower, it's not working!" he shouted.

Pretty soon, things seemed to be pretty well in hand. Small Toy had suffered from a crushed leg, but a quick nano-bot infusion fixed that. With the Pumicites driven back for the moment, Toy looked over at the pink armored figure behind him. Sweeping his arm out, Toy made a fancy bow at Essex.

"I take it that you are the one who prevented my brains from being dashed upon the lunar surface?" he said, in much more dignified tones then he had been speaking before. "I thank you for your timely assistance. My name is Toy Dispenser, and you are...?"

    Moon Missions

Kicking another chunk of rock that used to be a Moon Pumicite, Toy Dispenser wondered what the hell had happened in here. He had found what appeared to be the remains of a running fight that the Nazis had staged as soon as the first chamber off of the main entrance. His electronic brief made mention that the patrol was ten men large and so far Toy had found four of them, all of them torn to bloody pieces by rocky hands. But by all accounts the 5th Column patrol had given a good accounting of itself.

Leading his robots on, Toy stepped into yet another of the seemingly endless smooth-walled chambers. This one looked a bit different. There was no detritus of the earlier fight and, unlike all the other chambers, had something natural looking sitting in its center. Scanning it while walking forward, Toy determined that the short pillar was made of the same sort of rock that the caverns were formed of. But for some reason a quick age test showed that the pillar was less than 100 years old, which should be impossible. Mentally frowning, Toy gave the pillar a light kick. Preparing to walk around around the odd pillar and continue, Toy halted when his audio sensors detected an odd sound.

Suddenly wary, Toy directed his robots into a defensive formation and looked all around, waiting and ready for an attack. Which explains why he was surprised when the Pumicite dropped down from the ceilign above him and clubbed the mastermind with clenched fists on the back of the head. Falling to the ground, Toy's robots attacked while more Pumicites fell from the ceiling and attacked.

    Moon Missions

"Alright, let's bring in the troops," Toy said to himself as he flipped open a panel on his wrist. Tapping in several commands, he flicked the panel shut and then looked up. Sure enough, half a dozen streaks of light shot out from Earth's orbit and came down to the moon. The three battle drones slammed into the ground, safely contained in their rapid deployment crates and activated prototype gravity increasors built into their legs to keep them from flying back up again. The assault bot blazed its foot thrusters long enough to have a soft landing and activated its own gravity field. The protector bots initiated a short range teleport as soon as they got near the ground and popped up next to Toy completely unharmed. They too activated gravity fields and soon every bot under Toy's control was surrounded in a dim blue glow. Wishing that he could install one of those as well, Toy started trudging off toward Cave Io.

It took a little while to get to the cave and along the way, Toy had to fight his way past a plant monster that his threat recognition system insisted on calling an Ent. The Ent went down relatively quickly once a pair of seeker drones stunned it into sitting atop a patch of fire dropped by Combat Toy's incendiary missiles. Patting the assault bot on the back, Toy and his crew continued on.

Cave Io was finally reached and Toy peered into its black depths, wondering what the hell had dug that cave out. It couldn't be water and it couldn't be wind, so what had done it? Shaking his head, Toy left that question for another time and set his bots up in a standard defensive formation before calling up the Kommandant.

"Toy Dispenser to Alpha Base. Alpha Base do you recieve?" he radioed.

"This is Alpha Base. We read you loud and clear, Toy Dispenser," said a heavily accented German voice. "How are things?"

"Pretty good, pretty good. I've just arrived at the objective. Had to pull out my weed whacker on the way but it was nothing serious. Just remember my SOS and keep the poker game ready."

"Roger, Toy Dispenser. Beck says he hopes you come back for a good game. Alpha Base out," said the comm tech, for all intents and purposes understanding the code that Toy had spoken in.

"Some damn good code makers they've got around here," chuckled Toy as he looked once again into the cave. "But I gotta go in there eventually. I wish I could get rid of my fear emotion."

Steeling himself, Toy stepped into the cave.

OOC: Cliffhanger! I'll see what happens inside after I figure out what should happen inside. And did you mean Toy's SOS code up there, Essex?

"Are you sure that this piece of junk will get me to the moon?" Toy Dispenser asked of the flinchy portal technician standing in front of a control panel.

"Of course it will work!" the tech replied, all offended dignity. "I made it myself using only the most effective of techniques!"

Tapping one hand against his yellow painted legs, Toy pointed at a piece of the device that looked suspiciously like a pair of TV antennas. Blushing a bright red, the tech refused to respond and instead punched in the security code that would activate the portal. With a groaning cough and rattle, a shimmering blue opening into nothingness appeared in front of the mastermind. The bright blue light reflected off of Toy's multi-colored armored body and the flat blast plate that served as his face. Grunting in surprise at the portal's appearance, Toy picked up a small piece of metal and tossed it inside. When the piece of scrap disappeared instead of getting torn to pieces, Toy relaxed and cast one more look back over his shoulder.

"You are damn lucky your boss is giving me hazard pay," Toy shot back.

Bracing himself, Toy stepped into the portal and vanished.

    **************************************

Stepping out of the recieving end portal, which looked quite better kept up, Toy was met by a trio of armor suited 5th Columners. Mentally switching gears to German, Toy Dispenser spoke first.

"Greetings fellow soldiers," he began. "It is indeed a good day to go to the moon."

From what Toy could see through the lead soldier's face mask, the man was surprised that Toy spoke his language.

"Indeed it is, mercenary," the man replied. "If you would follow me and my fellows, we shall escort you to the Kommandant."

Toy nodded and followed after the three Nazis. While they were walking through the base, Toy took the opportunity to take a look around. Things seemed to be fairly well kept up, no wires dangling from the ceilings at least, and there were quite a few un-armored personnel walking around on their duties. Even though Toy suspected that he was being deliberately led through the better areas of the station he didn't begrudge the 5th Columners anything. It was their station after all.

Stepping through a door that slid open at his approach, the lead Nazi waved Toy through into the Kommandant's office. The office was mostly a barren affair. A desk, some pictures of Earth, a plaque on the wall, and several chairs rounded out the furniture in the room. The tall, blond man seated at the desk rose at Toy's approach and gave him a sort of half-salute. Toy responded with a full-on 5th Column salute which made the man grin briefly.

"You are the mercenary Toy Dispenser then?" he asked as the two of them sat down.

"Indeed I am, sir. Your man contacted me through the regular channels and informed me as too your situation up here. I must confess that he offered quite a large sum of money so I was more than alittle eager to come up here and take a look around."

"And I am sure that you have never been to the moon, yes?" the Kommandant said and, at Toy's answering nod, continued. "I am Kommandant Bäcker, the commander of Base Alpha. As per your contract, I am now your commanding officer until our contract has been broken or expires."

    "Yep."

"I am so glad we agree on that. Since you are the first super-class individual that has answered my call for assistance, amenities will be few. Frankly I expected help to-"

"I won't need them," Toy cut in.

Bäcker's eyes widened and he looked at Toy curiously. "Why will you not need them?"

"Because, quite frankly, I am a robot."

"Oh. Well then, I guess you can begin your duties immidiately. You're first mission is to locate a missing patrol of ours out near Cave Io. They were supposed to report back about six hours ago but we have heard nothing. I suspect they are all dead but I would like to know how and why."

    "Possible hostiles?"

"There should be none. Cave Io is in one of the flora friendly zones and the Moon Pumicites have not been spotted anywhere near that area. This might have changed or somehting new might be out there. Your job is to find out what."

"Gotcha," said Toy as he stood up. "I'll report in when I reach the cave and then once again when I've found the patrol. Keep your ears open on Frequency 19-A. If you hear a loud noise on that, it means something got me. And now, I'll be off."

Walking out, the door opening and shutting automatically behind him, Toy soon found his way to an airlock leading outside. After waiting for it to cycle through, the mercenary mastermind stepped out onto the moon's surface for the first time and took a good look around.

"One small step for Toy Dispenser, one giant leap for villain kind."
  15. Well, just did my first Mayhem Mission last night and I'm sure whatever comments I'm saying now have been said before but repition is sometimes a good thing.

Now, I went to Brickstown out of St. Martial on my lvl 39 bots/FF mastermind Toy Dispenser. I scaled my difficulty down to the lowest level because I had read how people had trouble and I think that made a big difference. However, even on Villainous setting, I still walked out of there with an entire bar of exp. Which is not a small amount. I managed to complete every single side mission, clear the entire area, and kill Malaise in his Elite Boss form with 51 seconds to spare. /gloat

Comments & Issues: 1. When I ordered my pets to attacks large destructible objects such as large metal crates and dumpsters, my bots would run up to melee range and then attack. While not crucial, this was very annoying.

    2. Hollow Point is awesome but I wish he'd spend more time following me than shooting civvies. Although he did clear out the streets very well especially since my bots were on defensive when they weren't actiely killing something.

    3. When an ambush of PPD attacks me, they don't shout anything when they come in the door. The Longbow ambushes always shouted something along the lines of "Halt, evil villain!" Why can't the PPD shout, "Halt in the name of the law!"

    4. When I raided the pawn shop and finished robbing the second group of floor safes, I got swarmed by about fifteen PPD members. I survived but the going got a little iffy. Do the ambushes spawn everytime I loot a safe or whenever one of those cameras see me? If it's the cameras, make them destructible.

    5. There were a pair of jail doors in the PPD building that my pets could not reach. Both of them were right next to the elevator and set back a bit. My pets would cluster just off to the side of the door and then one or two of them would shoot at it.

    6. When exiting the fire bombed building, my bots fell onto the bottom of the map. I had to dismiss and resummon them. Somehow, Hollow Point managed to get out just fine. Did I mention he kicks [censored]?

    7. I like the temporary power I got from the arms dealers. It's the same temp power that I got in a hero mission against the Lost and it brings back such memories of my hero's early days. Kudos to whoever thought this up.

    8. Malaise is a [censored]. I know I've done much better than everyone else when I fought him and killed him but do you really know how annoying it is for an EB to focus on you and only you? I was lucky as hell that I'm almost impossible to kill nowadays. Praise be to bodyguard!

    9. The times I got the Resisting Arrest time bonus were kind of random. What exactly triggered them?

    10. Where is the badge for Brickstown in that area? I checked all over and couldn't find it. =(

And those are my thoughts and questions after my first Mayhem experience. This mission was frigging awesome and I look forward to doing it on the live server. I won't need to worry about running out of contacts as long as I've got the Mayhem.

I'd post a screenie of me standing over Malaise's beaten purple clad body but I'm not at home right now. Cheers!
  16. OOC: PM? What PM?

BIC: "Very good, sir," the registrar said and then proceeded to outline for Ryan the same choices he had given to Charcold earlier.

OOC: Cool, anything I should know about it before I make a post? Like maybe names of the leaders, how the base generally looks, how far away it is from Beta Base. That sort of thing.
  19. "Of course, sir," replied the registrar, who looked to be a different man than earlier. "If you would just show me your ID card."

Charcold handed it over and the man scanned it.

"Very good, Mr. Charcold. A standard room contains a bunk, a small TV, and a small bathroom and is worth 1000 influence or 1200 infamy a night. A deluxe room contains a queen sized bed, a large plasma TV, a phone, and a bathroom worth 4000 influence or 4600 infamy a night."
  20. The registrar nodded and handed a handful of keys to Reikoff.

"Your superiors phoned during the last fight. They said you and your team would be participating tomorrow so I took the liberty of reserving several rooms for you and your men. The black key will give your titans access to recharge beds and free maintanance down in the repair bay," he said. "The yellow key is for access to any vending machine in the barracks area and the green keys are for each individual room. There are enough here for two of your men per room. Have a good night Colonel (?) Reikoff."

OOC: Is this an open RP that's open to villains as well as heroes?
  22. All of a sudden, powerful force fields fell around each contender, shutting them off from interacting with anyone else.

"And we have a winner!" blared the announcer. "By claiming the center, Ryan the Shadow is victorious! Let's all give him a rousing hand folks!"

There was a pause in which the auidiance was presumebly clapping their hearts out.

"But this was the last fight for the day, folks. Come back next time for another ferocious series of fights in the Coliseum! Bring the family, bring a friend, bring your latest squeeze, the Coliseum is fun for everyone!"

With a shudder, the force fields started moving. Each person or group was moved on top of an elevator platform and then lowered. At about the midway point, the force fields let out, dropping the fighters a couple of feet to the platform. When the elevators ground to a halt, Chertak and Eok quickly made their way back up the main ramp and to the permanent section of the Coliseum barracks that was devoted to the Rikti.

Now the fighters had two options: Leave for the night and come back tomorrow or stick around and see if any overnight bunks are avaliable in the temporary barracks.
  23. OOC: Sorry Halo. Been a bit distracted lately. ISSUE SEVEN!!!! Anyway, who's left in the center?

BIC: As the Guardian's flesh was quickly charred, his medi-beacon activated as well and he was teleported away, his flame filled bubble collapsing behind him. Eok managed to see the fire sword come in and recovered from his coughing fit well enough to hold the sword in place with his mental energies. After a second, Eok widened his hold from just the sword to Agent's entire body. Nodding at Eok's retaliation, Chertak lined up Agent's head in the crosshair's and opened fire once again.
  24. OOC: I'll have to agree with Ry on this one. Things seem pretty clear to me here. Rai saw Drone with something incriminating, saw Ryan being spotted by Drone's bots, and decided to throw up a rock cage around Drone and then throw rocks at him.
  25. OOC: Who will win, the rock man or the blast from the future? Btw, Ryan, use Goro's rock powers to reform the haft and deal with the superstrength. You haven't seen god moding until you've seen Blarg's Iron Fist, the blaster/brute/mastermind/god.

BIC: Agent's powerful flaming sword melted through the Guardian's shield in an instant, causing the Rikti to howl in agony until its medi-beacon switched on and it teleported away. The second Guardian drew back its arm and pistol whipped Agent in the back of the head while Eok stumbled back, coughing and choking on the ash.

Chertak proped his blade up against the wall and then drew and fired his repulsor rifle at Agent.

With an odd clanking sound, the Boxing Bot went limp as Rai pummeled it into a pile of scrap. Eventually realizing that the robot was no longer fighting, Rai stopped punching and released the cage of earth. The scrap tumbled to the ground, suddenly released and lay there somewhat pathetically. From above Rai's head a Spiderling descended on a strand of wire. Clutched in its legs was a map leading from Rai's current location to the center of the maze. Apparently, the real fight was now going to start.
