When using Broadcast to look for a team, ingore other people that are your level range and also looking for a team. After all, if they were worth teaming with, they'd have already invited you to a team.

You can start the Second Quest by entering "ZELDA" at the name entry screen.

Alternatly, you can enter the following password, to start with all costume parts unlocked:

The President has been kidnapped by ninjas! Are you a Bad enough Dude to rescue the President?
-
No, it's NOT just your imagination. The game really DOES hate you.

Can't you hear the music? You're gonna DIE!

Reformatting Hard Disk Drive...
The game's AI has determined that you are a horrible person. Instead of loading your mission, your account is being deleted. -
This is not the tip you're looking for.

Taunt is the most useful power a brute can take.

My Brute has Taunt, and it's actually useful from time to time. I know 2 others with it, too... >_> -
THe Help Channel is there for you to talk to your team and people around you. Ignore those who tell you otherwise. Ignore their /tells telling you you're talking in Help.

OK, maybe I'm missing something, but why place an ad in-game for something that's advertised on the patcher every time a new "issue" is done?
[/ QUOTE ]
cause you can :3

Well, then. I guess that's that, then, isn't it? -

It's a great piece, but is there a reason you decided to lower BaB's melanin count and bleach his hair?
[/ QUOTE ]
Not particularly. Does he look too light skinned? Is the lighting making him seem pale? It looks fine to me.
[/ QUOTE ]
I thought the same thing -- he looks tan rather than black. Maybe it's a monitor thing.

Anyway, the colors look fine to me. -
VidiotMaps.com is a Global Channel run by the VidiotMaps/Badge-Hunter staff. Since it's Global, there are people from all servers on.
If you go looking for people in there to help you, remember to say what server you're on. -
Maybe Stan & Lou were abducted in one of the recent Rikti Invasions? Or maybe the somehow got lost in Cimerora? Or they could be PL'ing each other to get their own VEATs...
If I see 'em, I'll tell 'em that Hertz, and plenty of others, are lookin' for 'em! -

As someone who managed to mangle his toon w/ I12 respec, I am curious exactly what prompted the additional free respec. I'm not ungrateful, I am simply curious.
[/ QUOTE ]
In the past, Freespecs have not come bundled with a new Issue. They've been released after the new Issue, with a specific date attached. That allows anyone who currently has a Freespec to use it if they wish, since Freespecs don't stack.
When Issue 12 went live, the Freespec came with it, totally unannounced. To make up for that, they're giving us another Freespec, and this time, it has a specific date attached to it.

Is there any reason to limit the Global Name renames? My kids play on the account as well, and the one figured out how to rename it. I certainly would not want to known forever by what he changed it to. I appreciate the second chance rename, but why not allow a periodic name change?
[/ QUOTE ]
Probably to prevent abuse, though any specific examples escape me at the moment... :P
This is only the 2nd time I've seen them do this. The 1st time was shortly after Issue 7 went live, and something in it bork'd Global Chat something fierce, kinda like how something in Issue 12 has bork'd Buff Icon Stacking.
/me is still waiting for Super Group Rename Tokens -

<ul type="square">[*] Free Respec
This will grant a respec to characters that does not stack with any previous free respecs a character may have. Given this non-stacking nature, if you have a free respec currently, you may want to use it before the grant is run.
[/ QUOTE ]Good call.

<ul type="square">[*] Global Chat Handle reset
All accounts initially start with the ability to change their global chat handle one time. This grant will reset that and allow accounts who had previously changed their global chat handle to do so again. This is a one time chat handle change, so please use it wisely.
[/ QUOTE ]Ooo! This hasn't happened since the I7 Global Chat Snafu!Handy!
All in all, very nice! The only thing I'd like to see added to this is a Super Group Rename Token... -

Character slots in the character selection screen can now be reorganized by dragging and dropping. The sort order is stored in a file on the client, but only if "Remember Account NameĀ is checked on the Log-in Screen
[/ QUOTE ]
The information is NOT stored on the client. It is stored on your local hard drive, as a file named playerslot.txt. While it remembers the character order, it STILL ignores the first character on your list, and automatically selects the character that was ORIGINALLY at the top of the list, pre-I12.
[/ QUOTE ]
I am finding that it is not stored AT ALL. "Remember Account Name" checked or unchecked, nothing I do will force the client to remember the new character order. The thing is bugged and not working. The new order will remain until you quit the client or log any character, but then reverts to the pre-patch default order. And I also am seeing that, for the brief time that the list remains rearranged, the oldest character on the server is still the highlighted one when you choose that server, regardless of where you've dragged it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, it's stored. I can hit you up with a PM telling you where to find the file. It just seems to be ignoring it. I just tested, and manually editing the file works until you change servers. That's how I just discovered that it does NOT people who play on multiple servers into account. It completly overwrites the file from Server A with the character list from Server B. That means when you go back to Server A, since there's no data on those characters, it will reset their sorting. Not good.
