You know, I didn't see this thread coming. I should have, but for some reason, I didn't...
I'm gonna place the blame on the fact that I didn't find out about Open Beta until after I came back from dinner, and then spent most of my time looking at things...
No screenies yet, but I'm getting ready to start working on save files for the Live Publish. -

actually the idea I had should be more of an ultimate form...
you got an idea of what see looks like under the helmet..that would help with another idea I have for a what would happen if she lost her helmet or her armor breached

OK, it's not just you. I get the erorr too.
This is why I think that there shouldn't be an option to disable exporting the Data Chunk. It's the ONLY 100% reliable method I've found for importing a character. The Data Link sometimes has problems. Copying the build and pasting it into Mids has lots of problems.
I think I managed to import the build into Mids with some editing of the post...

I think you linked to the wrong thread. http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=186440 has no builds in it.
Have you gone to http://www.cohplanner.com/ and downloaded the latest version of Mids? If you have, then chances are, you're attempting to open a build that was created with a modified version of Mids. If the build you're attempting to open contains any of the powersets that will be proliferated with I16, you'll get errors unless you've customized your copy of Mids to match the one it was exported from. -

If I knew why, I'd tell you. All I know is that I tried it once, and I'll never eat it again. Of course, I don't eat McDonald's or Wendy's very often. I don't like Burger King, so I don't eat there.
