The ONLY Official Word about Powersets is that Blasters, Defenders, and Corruptors will be getting Dual Pistols, and Masterminds will be getting Demon Summoning. Everything else is 100% Pure Rumor.

While I would LOVE the crap out of it if they proliferated Super Strength to Scrappers, there has been nothing Official said about the next round of Powerset Proliferation.

Any time the updater starts doing Connecting #x on me, I flush my DNS, and that usually fixes the problem.

In Windows XP, hold the WinKey and press R at the same time. That will bring up the Run dialogue box. Type cmd in the area, and press Enter or click OK. That will open a black screen that is essentially a DOS prompt. Type in ipconfig /flushdns and press enter. You should get the following message:

Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Type exit and press Enter to close the window.

In Vista, click the Start Logo, All Programs, Accessories. RIGHT-Click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter. You should get the following message:

Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Personally, though, I tend to use TweakCoH, and let that do it for me. Launch TweakCoH, click on the Diagnostics tab, and look at the last row, labeled DNS Client Tools. The very last button says Flush DNS. Click that. You'll get the same message about the cache being flushed. Click the X in the upper right corner to close that window, then click the OK button.
