Try not to think about that sort of thing BW. I do think maybe your thread's name might get you some neg rep. Maybe not the best choice, but still, remember it is about the art.

I KNOW you are an amazing artist and you are full of artistic talent. Continue to express yourself and let it be seen, and try not to pay attention to the critics. I suspect it is a hazard of the trade.

I didn't read this whole thread, but really, as someone who has been getting and posting CoH art here longer than most, here are a few random thoughts...1) relax, 2) yes, CoH artists will always have my first commitment, there are so many I could name, but actual CoH artists are better for our community than any others...and yes, I enjoy their art the most, and 3) yes, things have seemed more commercial lately, and that is sad...when I first started here, I would get 10 free pieces of art for every one I would pay for, however, 4) things are tough all over, and the fact is as our community has gotten a bit bigger, the "market" has opened up. I don't think any of us have the right to begrudge anyone for the art they are doing or receiving.

Anyway, that was mostly random I know, but I guess that is how I feel about this subject over all. I know I have benefited at times from our small art community, and I do believe in pushing those CoH community artists as much as I can, but I do not think that is the same as not letting people know about other great artists out there who might be available for them. Not everyone has a rich art benefactor.

OK, again, that was collection of random thoughts on the subject. It wasn't directed at anyone or to any one position on the subject.
