  1. 1. Place a Freedom Corps hero trainer at the entrance of hazard zones. In other words, the guys who sell training enhancements and buy enhancements. They are inferior to seeking out a store, but better than destroying enhancements with the contstant need to confirm each and every one.

    2. When a character is defeated, have them respawn at the entrance of the hazard zone as if they had used an awaken inspiration as an option.

    3. Allow sidekicks to enter higher level hazard zones, change the system so that if out of range of your mentor you simply fail to get experience and influence instead of losing your temporary fighting level.

    4. Add "free" contacts to the zones, for those who have exhausted their missions and have hit a dry patch.

    5. Increase the grouping bonus inside hazard zones.

    More answers....

    1. Will the "double penalty" for energy blasts and other multi-type attacks vs. forcefields be addressed anytime soon or is this intended?

    2. Can you give any additional information as to why supergroup sizes are fixed at 75 since you have identified that as not changing?

    3. Any thoughts about "quality of life" touches to the SG list to include: resizable fields, ability to remove leaders who are inactive, to promote/demote folks who are offline, a "notes" or "comment" field, color/emblem changes, showing current zone/archetype/level along with other fields, etc.?

    4. Any possibility of getting the friends list maximum size expanded, some way of sorting it based on how long since a friend was last on if not so we can better decide which old friend to clear out for a new one, and a comment field of some kind?

    5. Any possibility of getting a passive hasten-like power added to something like the fitness pool? (akin to how swift/hurdle are weaker versions of superspeed and combat jumping.)

((Aurgh. Thanks for the 4-1-1 on the Sky Raiders. Someone just told me that in-game, there's nothing about their history online.))

No problem at all. The story was written from an IC perspective and IC information can be wrong after all

    Great story btw!
  4. I love the exemplar system for playing with lower level friends. My only wish is that instead of losing all powers gained after the level you exemplared down to, you lost access to powers that were restricted to above that level. For instance, Tachyon Trinity has Hover, Fly, and Recall Friend (and got Recall friend at 24.) If I exemplared down to 6 to help a friend in hte Hollows, I'd prefer to still have Hover and Recall Friend (since both are allowed at level 6) while not having Fly or my higher level powers.

I'd prefer it if the RSK system worked like the SK system, where I kept all my powers and such, just reduced in effectiveness to the new level and with all enhancement effects temporarily disabled. That, to me, would better reflect the "feel" of "Ok, I'm going to hold back so you my young friend can also get credit and learn something from thee battles!" But in general, I RSK for one reason, and one reason only: to play with friends I couldn't otherwise.

Who knows though, I have a few K in debt on my blaster, maybe I'll ask one of my lowbie friends if I can RSK with them and see how it goes.

As an alternative to gaining nothing but influence when debt is eliminated, what if experience, influence, and enhancements were gained as if you were that level, but the amount of exeperience needed to level remained the same? Personally I prefer the "reduce debt as if 100% of xp earned at my SL level was received", but I could see the merit in the other approach.
  5. Vindicator Blue was once an ordinary man, fresh from Paragon University with a degree in business management and finance (dual major) when his life turned promptly 90degrees on its ear then made a left turn to reality. He was captured by the ubiquitous Circle of Thorns.

Third-rate mystics, banded together in hopes the dark arts would give them the power they couldn't handle in the first place, a group of them decided to tap directly into the elemental plane of energy. Vindicator at the time thought these chuckleheads had spent way too much time playing RPGs and computer RPGs dreaming of "phat lewtz" or whatever, and needed a life. Then the ritual started.

It was impossible to describe the pain. Searing, intense, every molecule of your body exploding at the speed of light (a warning on crossing streams, odd the thoughts one has when one is about to become the living host of some extradimensional baddie), none of those explained it. Then, at the last moment, a group of heroes broke up the ritual, interrupting it as the bonding process between the *thing* trying to posses Vindicator and Vindicator, was complete. The creature was destroyed, but so was Vindicator's life.

When he woke up in a parahuman medical center he was confused. Then when he saw the result, shock gave way to denial gave way to a seething hatred of those who would manipulate such unnatural forces to destroy the lives of innocents. Taking the name Vindicator Blue, he stepped out of the clinic in Paragon City, and right into an Outbreak of a new form of Dyne.

He aided as best he could with fledgling powers, and met with some success. The police were grateful and sent him on his way to Galaxy City, where he trained, faught Hellions and Vahzilok, throwing himself into battle with ferocity and reckless abandon. Eventually he uncovered and stopped a Vahzilok plot, rescued a kidnapped man from the Clockworks, and uncovered and put an end to a Dyne smuggling ring, exposing a possible link to magical artifact smuggling and even more powerful villains he would face once he was strong enough.

Vindicator Blue is a hero driven by a sense of duty and a stronger sense of revenge. While he feels a duty to hunt down criminals, he has an unhealthy delight in the use of excessive force in apprehending magic-based criminal groups. Fortunately, his work for Paragon City has made him plenty of friends in the force, and a few lawyers, besides the odd assortment of newsmen and government spooks. So far they've kept him out of trouble....

(((I'm looking for an RP SG on the Justice Server. I actually like to try and RP with all of my characters, but the abundance of "l33t d00dz" and such makes it difficult. My focus is on enjoying being a superhero, fighting crime, and getting into character. I'd rather be making 1/5th the experience a "grinding player" could make, if I can have fun while doing it. Please feel free to drop an in-game e-mail or tell to either Vindicator Blue or Jadezri. Thanks!))
