I found a post back in 2010 that talked about the fact that there was no sound in the playback of a demorecorded file. That's what I'm experiencing, regardless of the way I start the playback. I'm hoping that there has been a workaround/solution in the meantime. I can live without sounds...but that is part of what I love about the game.

Any fixes? If not, I'll have to do a fraps capture of at least some fights to get the sound. I hoped to do a lot of demorecording now...and turn them into videos during my work's winter shutdown.

I have an ATI graphics card (I'm at work, so I don't have the model, but it's in the 5xxx series). I've noticed that when I'm doing a mission in the Praetorian labs (or the same map used in a tip mission, for example), my graphics card starts overheating. I have no problems with any other map. I can run for hours with no heating problems. But go to that map...even shortly after booting up the system...and I soon hear the "beep beep beep" of the heat alarm.

I'm open to suggestions (and I'll post my system info if anyone thinks it will help). I'm going back to the 11.3 drivers, to see if the <alt><tab> issue and other minor graphical issues are fixed. I can't see how the driver could be causing this, but software systems have gotten so complex, you never know.

Mostly I'm just curious if anyone has had a similar problem. The labs don't seem incredibly detailed. I've never had the graphics card get too hot during intense events (e.g. Rikti invasions) or other maps.

Thanks for your help! I actually stumbled into the "illusion" part of the forcefield, after a few very frustrating circuits of the "death star". I was looking for a tunnel in the rock. Mission completed!

I still need help (sorry). I've flown around the Chantry multiple times, but can't find a tunnel. There are two places where the forcefield goes up higher. I thought those might be the tunnels, but no luck. There is also a rock that almost touches the Chantry, but I couldn't find any way through that.

I'm doing Maria Jenkins' new arc, and am having trouble with the mission where you battle Black Swan and find clues. I pretty much scoured the rock you zone in on, without finding her. Then I tried flying over to other rocks. I found the Chantry, but couldn't find out how to get in.

Any ideas before I try the mission again? I spent too long in it the first time, and I hope not to spend quite as long in it the next time. Where would I find Ms. Swan?
