  1. I don't....really have any bishoujo style characters. My uh....one hilarious foray into that area ended up annoying me too much to keep going but if i can find an old screenshot of Mahou Shoujo Beretta I will post her up for you in case you need something completely dumb to draw for hilarity
  2. Haven't had much new since this idea went around over on Virtue, feel free to surf it for more ideas http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=229566
  3. Look at that old picture. Now look at the new one. See what's missing from the new one? Try a girl that has something resembling an athletic build for a character who's supposed to be a warrior. There's not much you can do with a costume to make Twig Inflataboob look like anything but a theme night stripper....
  4. I'll be visiting Union on the weekends, I'm sure. Sadly being US East coast means its already midnight in England at 7pm and only gets worse for the rest of Europe.
  5. I am a hacker who has to occasionally code. Writing stuff from scratch and watching it work, yeah, that can be fun, but the truly satisfying bit of my job is taking other people's code and bending, twisting, and rewriting it to make it do what I want ;7

A friend gave me the comment I used in my .sig for years, "Programmers weave a neat mesh of code with a goal in mind, you just jump in there with a pair of wire cutters and a soldering iron...."

Pretty much. 'Oh, well, this isn't attached to anything, we'll just pull this part that's not working out.....' *breaks six other systems* '..oops.'
  7. If you have ever pulled on a loose thread on a shirt or pair of pants and pulled out half a seam or created a hole.....welcome to the world of trying to fix code bugs

Actually...no. The way game programming usually works is you are divided into Teams and for each release cycle your team has a certain focus or set of related tasks. Team Bug Fix has a certain set of priorities, which I can promise at least the top couple are exploits that could cause serious problems and no one either knows about or the devs won't mention until they are fixed, and Team Flavor has a completely other list of priorities and tasks. Just because Team Flavor's 27th priority task got done and Team Bug Fix's 5th didn't doesn't mean that what did get finished was 'more important'.
  9. Here's the thing.
    Add new npc: lionnpc = new NPC(top = 12, bottom = 6.....)
Fix things getting stuck in walls: Spend weeks trying to replicate. Test collision code. Test character model code. Test power code. Test map. Try some fixes. Test some more.

I have no problems getting stuff junior level programmers can do in an hour while senior level programmers try to figure out what is wrong with the legacy code. A better comparison is are you upset that time was spent working on Incarnate tasks and such instead of getting things unstuck from walls? Because that's likely the team of people that would have to fix a transient bug with no clear culprit.
  10. Well feel free to hit up Cape Radio, you can tune in at http://stream.thecaperadio.com:6592 to see whose on to poke, or stop by a show in game, the Wednesday DJs are host in Pocket D on the center platform.
  11. Are you looking for In Character chat, or just general chatter? Cape Radio's global is good for general chatter(just poke your friendly local DJ for an invite), but there sadly isn't much in the way of In Character chat out there, they seem to all implode over the channel owner's ideas of 'how to RP right'
  12. *stays good, already has awesome Cami art*
  13. ...not that I currently have an FF charcater, but if you've ever been in the reactor with an FF with force bolt, you know how it doesn't set off prox bombs and makes them easy to put where you like.....
  14. Oh I figure no one knows the characters, that was the best I could do for a 'short' description, guess it doesn't work, heh! They are, were, or will be part of an ongoing plot with a small subset of the subset of RPers that are on Virtue, that's very hard to explain in the first place

I can't draw characters without knowing something about them, tried I guess a couple years ago now to just draw random people's ones but overall it was a pretty 'meh' experience so I just stick to drawing my own and occasionally good friend's ones anymore, which means rarely does anyone get recognized.
  15. Um.....not on hand? I'll have to get Illustrator to save out a bigger version. And no, I'm just good at beating dead horses and since both places I had posted in no one had said anything about my messing around with colors I assumed this was just going to be another exercise in finishing something only because it would annoy me if I stopped
  16. I doubt anyone cares really, but just in case, base colors are done

  17. Kai

    Animal Pun Toons

Psiamese is less furry and more a psychic/Crey/executive take on old school Catwoman, but I suppose it fits :7
  18. So few to choose from....I'll take 53

    41, 47, 65, 68, 94, 96, 98 are left
  19. In the view of my alter ego, the world of CoH is just another simulated reality in a giant server farm that she's hacked into for s&gs, I have no problem with the concept, but its not something she advertizes, its all through allusion and curious arranged 'coincidences' with other RPers over stuff. I think if you wanted to go that way its fine but keep the people 'knowing' to RPers you talk to OOC about it first and not a public bio posting
  20. Well....I don't really know why you'd mention it in the bio if she isn't aware of it really? That's my only thing with it. If the character doesn't know it, and its not going to come up (which, it really shouldn't) then putting it there seems nothing more than a sort of self-justification of 'just so you know, this character is cooler than you'.....
  21. 92 sounds good.....too.... yeah I suck at rhymes, moving on!
  22. Meandering art update....worked on laying some bases since....whenever I posted last

Color of couch subject to change based on how badly it clashes with the teal Gina and Kyle are wearing. It was a tan but clashed with their hair.
