Feel free to have a go at Kadmon (Broadsword/Regen/Dark Mastery) and Masked Shrike (Sonic Resonance/Dark Blast/Darkness Mastery) (both pictured in the signature)
-
We need one of these things for Justice...
Also, nice pictures there -

It'd be just like using Nova, then Force of Nature right after, but more flashier.
[/ QUOTE ]
Except that you would, under normal circumstances, need a Blue to pull off that feat, whereas your idea would just have both combined without the normal Nova crash. -

I see meHmmm... That DOES sound like something I'd say, though I don't honestly remember saying it... When did they take that picture of me, anyway? It looks like the camera was missing... mega-pixels, or something.
Nicely done there LJ -

LoL. I always picture Altered Beast on SEGA everytime someone says that
Wow how things have changed since this thread started.
[/ QUOTE ]
Altered Beast? That game was disturbing to me. -
1) Kadmon, Broadsword/Regen/Dark Master Scrapper
2) Disembowel
3) Uppercuts the target with his left hand, then brings the sword up with both hands, moving in an arc over his head, and ending on the ground in front of him with his back facing the original target, possibly cleaving whatever may have previously been behind him.
NOTE: OFFICIALLY, the animation is just swinging the sword from the ground to the air, sending the enemy flying. The above was just MY interpretation of it
4) Kadmon hates the Circle of Thorns, so those would probably be his favorite enemies to fight. He hates Mu bosses even more though, so he doesn't really want to fight them -

I ninja-edited the post, hence the "ninja vanish" -
Kadmon and Masked Shrike (both pictured in the signature) have very little art of them.
*reposted with some editing from Kai's thread*
Kadmon is an ancient Muvian construct (physically, he's almost human, save for having bones made of orichalcum, skin and muscle like iron, and glowing eyes) with incredible regenerative powers and exceptional skill with a broadsword (backed up by his super-human golem strength). His being in Paragon City is the result of some incompetent magic use by Circle of Thorns wizards back in 2004, when they tried to summon a demon he had "banished" (read: Punched in the face until it decided it was better off back where it had come from) in 1136 AD, but got him instead. He was unhappy about that for a long time, but eventually got over it and has come to like his new surroundings.
Power Sets: Broadsword, Regeneration, Fitness, Fly, Concealment, Presence (particularly, Invoke Panic)
Masked Shrike was a world-famous singer who happens to be a descendant of Mu (like close to 2 billion other humans in the world today, if memory serves ). She attracted the attention of the Circle of Thorns when she was on tour in Paragon City. A certain swordsman with an ax to grind with the Circle (see above) came and stopped them. She returned for another tour about a year afterwards, where the Praetorian Earth version of Kadmon attempted to kidnap her. After one failed attempt, then one successful attempt, she became empowered by Kadmon and, since returning to Paragon City, has taken up the fight against injustice. She is just a step or two above being legally blind, and wears glasses or corrective goggles almost constantly (which brings up questions about how she can be so accurate with her sniper attack at such an incredible range)
Power Sets: Sonic Resonance, Dark Blast (Particularly, Moonbeam), Fly (Group Fly), Fitness, Medicine -

It is actually Mrs. Droid. But that is ok lol. Thanks. I have a lot of fun drawing and it is good to be back.

I still fail to note the insult here. Is it really something that can be chalked up to a difference in culture, or am I just missing the point? -
Incidentally, why exactly do you want to see our Corruptors?
-
Here, we have one Fiery Havoc, Fire/Thermal Corruptor, and my only level 50 Villain

I guess it would make sense if you were talking about someone who took their dog for a walk in a park, scooped up any doggie droppings left by said doggie in a bag, and then got chased around by a bunch of unsavory types. And then, during the process of being chased managed to misplace, drop, or otherwise fail to maintain possession of the aforementioned bag.
Just a thought...

My Spanish is incredibly rusty, but I think you're right there Kadmon, or at least close enough.

Hooray, backup
Also, I ran "perdedor de mierda" through Dictionary.com's translator. It came out "excrement loser," which almost makes LESS sense than "loser of feces." I'll chalk it up to a difference in cultures. -
Oh dear, is it too late to say that mine is still in the running? Because if now, see above.
-
I took four years of Spanish classes, but some of the words here are beyond the scope of my education. Of course, if I'm not mistaken, "Perdedor de mierda" roughly translates to "loser of (feces)"
It's been a long time since I had Spanish classes though. And DX? He probably WAS crying
EDIT: "espero k seas feliz destruyendo a la gente" roughly, if memory serves, means "I hope you're happy that you've destroyed a person"
... I think. -

t's all over for you now though. You know that right?

I've only had one commisioned piece done, by Wassy way back in the day. It's sitting in a frame near my desk
Regardless, I haven't sprung for any more art (primarily because I can't afford more). -

Okay Kadmon!
wheres my drawing damn you?
[/ QUOTE ]
I've been busy. Remarkably busy. I would've worked on it back during Spring Break but I spent the entirety of it working, which wasn't fun. Since then, it's been paper after landscape after still-life after five page report after opinion paper for my Biological Science class. It never freaking ends, TA. Maybe I'll have time to finish (read: completely redo) the drawing after finals are over. -

Even though I tend not to respond in these threads, since the Fanart section is CLEARLY ignoring its duty here, I'll step in and wish Rox a happy birthday as well.

What if BSPP's would be unlocked (as in their Pools become available) if and when a character does specific things? Like the Merchant Pool would be unlocked after you sell all enhancements w/o slotting for one complete level? Or the Student/Mentor Pools being unlocked if you complete a full story arc with a Mentor/Sidekick?
I think that would add more interest to the gameplay since people will not know (at first) how to unlock BSPP Pools and once they become available people will have more to talk about just like the Badges of today.
[/ QUOTE ]
The only problem I have with your idea for unlocking Merchant is that it makes it impossible to gain the pool as a level 50. Other than that, I love the ideas put forth in this thread
