Ok, I've been meaning to do this for quite some time. I've done a few shots of some super groups and it was cool and all, but for some reason it didn't seem big enough.

I was thinking, how can I make a really big shot, Something to wow almost everyone? Then I realized, I would have to include a pic of... well, almost everyone!

I got to thinking of those massive posters Marvel used to put out of "all" of their characters. I think that's a bit tooooo big for what I can manage (in my lifetime) but my second thought drifted back to that old Adams' pic of the X-Men.

With that in mind (ok, right in front of me), I decided to make a pic of the most famous characters in City of Heroes!!!

That's right, I'm endeavoring to put the top 20 (or so) biggest names into one shot. I have no plans to finish this soon, but I've already started.

I've got about 7 characters already in it (can you name them all?) and room for a lot more overhead.

Please, do not suggest your own character but if you think I am missing someone, by all means throw down their name here (and maybe a pic or linkie to them).

Yeah, I hope my thoughts were taken in the right way. DJ, please have no doubtthat I lvoe your stuff... but I htink it is always good to get different takes on a pice.

Mine was just a suggestion... like you said, maybe you tried it and it just didn't look right with more electricity floating around.

I just felt more power needed to be drawn to the hands.

ok, now every time I open up one of DJ's thread I'm lookin' to be impressed... this is a great piece man... but...

...this one didn't wow me as much. I'm not sure what it is (maybe just early in the morning for me) but it seems to be missing some BAM!

The hands seem a bit small, but that's not totally it. There's no glaring tech problems (f course not, it's DJ), but I'm still wanting a little more to tease my eye.

For example, look at AoT. His hands seem to be curling around something - perhaps even something big. But instead it's only a few threads of lightning. I think it might be cool if you beefed that up a little and put some sizzle into it.

Basically, I imagin these two as being rip-roarin' with energy... and this piece isn't there yet. I know almost no one would say this to DJ, but I thought I'd be honest. I might be wrong... but it's my opinion.

Just joking. Actually, I've got to get to finishing these panels in the next week or so.

I'll be watching man (both here and on DA).

I'm trying to post this where most of hte RPers/writers hang, so don't mind if you've seen it before...

As some of you may have noticed, I have been doing a lot of shots of the well endowed Naughty Nadya. NN asked if I could do a shot of her vs. her nemisis Ms. Liberty. I did two different shots that were both well received.

Looking at them though I quickly realized that I might just be able to turn them into a comic strip panel. I have yet to do one, but have always dreamed of taking on a larger project (someday hoping to make a whole comic of Juggy actually).

So here is the deal, I have a rough outline of how I'm going to finish off this panel. But I am not the greatest at writing nor plotting out dialogue that doesn't sound lame.

I need you!

The contest is simple, write the captions and dialogue for this panel and 1) you'll get the credit on my DA page and 2) you'll get a free character art piece from me of your main.

There are 4 panels, so please have your entry something like this:

(panel one-caption upper left) "The two finally meet."
(panel one-Ms. L bubble) "There's no way you're going to get away with this Naughty Nadya!"
(Panel two-sound) "swooosh"
ect...

There is no rush, but I plan to finish this in about the next 2-3 weeks (my wife is going on a business trip). If possible, put you entry on this thread or PM me if you don't want the masses to read it.
