March Fan Art Battle: The Battle of the Backgrounds

Overview: Yup, you read it right. This will be a battle of who can do up the most inspiring, city of something-like, background. For many artists this is their bane... and for some, it's simply neglected. Well, there's no hiding from it now!

Rules: Ok, this one is fairly open to interpretation. You can have a city-scape, a back alley, a SG HQ, park, heck... you can even have a bedroom.

What you can't have in it is a hero... or villain for that matter. This is all about the Background. Try to make it as recognizable from the game (or from a storyline) as possible.

*feel free to use this BG in a later piece. This contest is about improving ourselves... so no worries there.
**The list is getting smaller and smaller for these challenges, but just because you're not on it, doesn't mean you can't throw down. Anyone not competing is welcome to join in... it's just that your piece won't be included in the vote in the end.
***If you thought the last round's elimination was brutal... wait until the end of this month.
****There is no immunity for this month's challenge

All entries are due no later than March 22nd.

Yeah, that's always been the problem with this sort of ting - trying to have the bulk of the voting done before the next month's contest starts up.

Yeah, when I told people be prepared for the long haul... I didn't mean that it would for sure last that long. I kind of figured for about 6 months. Going into month 3 we'll have about 8 people left... let's see how long they last.
