  1. Agreed. While many artists can 'do' the style you're asking for, perhaps it'd be better to see what is out there.

    Colossus!

One of my all-time favorite characters!
  3. For me, it'd take about 4 hours per page (blue sketch, lines, colors) minimum. So that'd be around 88 hours - two full weeks of work for me.
  4. I dig the one on the right in the black

I don't think so. Personally, if you are willing to give it up, because you're a good person and not using it for 'x' amount of time, or whatever, it doesn't become your name any more. It becomes mine to do with as I please. In which, if I chose to post the name on the Virtue Name Watch and trade it off to another, there should not be any complaints for said original owner. Right?

    Personal thoughts?
    Sounds about right to me.
  6. This is the final round, right?
  7. really digging these latest colors.

    Rule #1. CARDIO

    hahaha, that's awesome.

And to think, I thought this would be an exercise thread.

Turns out... in a way, I was right.

Now, maybe I'll have to flex my sketchy muscles.
  9. I'm really looking forward to this piece.

    Quite the story.

    How long...

I feel for ya OP. There's been a lot of good advice on this board so far, and I think that stems from people going through the exact same thing.

Personally, I'd take the offer that FrozenDeath has put out for you - it's a generous one. Chances are, your ability to collect from the original artist is fading. Personally, I'd try to salvage the art.
  11. stretches are always hard to keep within the bounds of normal. Good job on it.

    Feral Kat artz!

I think I may have to take another stab at your character soemtime soon - these peices are really inspiring!
  13. yeah, I get kind of messed up with it sometimes. Thanks for the tip about centering as well.

Some people have some very snazzy sigs on here.

I just printed off one of my own pieces - near poster size, and it turned out great.

  17. hmmm, I seem to be doing something wrong. Can anyone spot it?

Only close off the url and img tags with the brackets [] and no spaces.
  19. I dig all three ofthose, but yeah, that Daybreak Aplha is my fave. It's got a very cool vibe to it.

Yeah, at this point I think it may be better for both of you if you were to just take that money owed and print it yourself. If they're not getting back to you, and the website is down (basically just a splash page), then I'd head to the print shop myself.
