((OOC: And Aimee is actually a doctor, not a nurse.))
As Aimee had heard the explanation, at first she was unable to move due to Mina's shock command. This forced her to listen and try to understand... but deep inside, she had soo many questions that she couldn't speak in order to ask them.
But a little later on before she could ask those questions, Aimee had heard another hymn. This time it wasn't muffled sounding as Aimee had heard the full effects of this hymn and felt herself feeling happy... and very... well... blissful. By this time, her endorphins in her body released and they made her body start to glow in a green color and in this state, she was healing most of the physical superficial wounds that everyone in the immediate area near Aimee was at... just enough to heal cuts and bruises but nothing more than that at the moment. Even though Aimee was feeling this bliss, she couldn't understand what she was doing on the outside.
Is that what this song does? Its like... I am truly a healer! How am I doing this? Where did this come from? Was I actually able to do this from the beginning? She thought to herself, still unable to speak and hoping that she could find a way to control this new found healing process in the future.
((OOC: Wow... I like the way that you triggered one of Aimee's hidden powers that she didn't know she had. Maybe she might understand more in the future. *Smiles*)) -
As Aimee was watching Dr.McMahon getting thrown out of the window, she had let out a scream of shock. The scream got the attention of the creature as it turned to face Aimee.
Aimee was petrified by this time. She couldn't move anything... just hope to God that this thing wouldn't attack her. She mouthed off the words "Please don't kill me" in French before realizing one thing... The creature was looking more feral than ever now.
This was more in Aimee's domain as she had two cats of her own at her home. She looked over to a nearby table as she grabbed a bowl and filled it with water, hoping that this creature would calm down a bit so she could approach it without getting harmed. -
((At least things have finally slowed down enough to help me to get a sense of what was going on.))
Aimee was making her rounds as usual after the chaos that ensued in the hospital. She was thankful that it was over as she mostly hid under one of the desks during the entire time. As she was making her rounds, she had thought to check up on her nurses to see how they were doing.
She greeted each one of them making sure that they were all right and happy there but later on, she had heard a very unusual sound coming from one of the wards. It was a sound that she had not heard before but it was muffled.. like someone singing a death-metal song with no music behind the voice.
As she looked inside the room, she had seen this "Angel" figure holding a priest in her arms. The only thing that she did recognize out of this setting was Mina singing. Aimee stood there ar the doorway, almost petrified as she was able to only do one thing... and that was move one of her arms like she was drawing a cross over her heart and hope that her daughter was going to be all right.
Is this the end as we know it? Aimee thought to herself as she was witnessing the sight before her eyes. -
((*Sigh* I come home from work and BAM... another 27 posts in 12 hours. I can't keep up with this posting rate so I may have to leave the thread. I am sorry but I tried.))
-
((Wow... I take off for a weekend and for a day at work and BOOM! 100 posts! I can't keep up with that pace so unless you all slow down, I may have to do what I have done to every other thread that blows up and leave. I am sorry but I can't post as much as you guys do.))
-
If there is still room, I will keep an eye out for this thread to come. I work an evening shift (2 Pm to whenever) Monday-Friday so sometimes, it could be 3 days or it could be a week inbetween posts. I have at least 2-3 Doctor characters inside and outside the game so this should be fun when it gets going.

Jen was returning to her office to get started on the paperwork that was still needed to be filled out when she saw another doctor and nurse conversing in the hall. She walked up anxious to introduce herself. "Its not nice to bust into others conversations." her concience told her. "Well if I never introduce myself to the staff they'll never know I'm here." She muttered and walked up. "Um excuse me, I just wanted to introduce myself. Dr Jen Morse. I'm the new Diagnostician here."

"Hey that's great! Maybe one of you can help me..." Kara began nervously, "The girl in room 2-14, do either of you know anything about her? Or have her file or something?"
[/ QUOTE ]
Aimee looked around as the nervous nurse and the almost business like doctor were asking her questions and giving her introductions. She had tried to process all of the information as best as she could as she looked at Jen first. "It is good to meet you Dr. Morse. I hope that we can be of assistance to eachother soon." Aimee said as she then turned to Kara.
"Hmm... 2-14. I belive that I have a file on her somewhere in this mess of files. Let me check." Aimee said as she guided Jen and Kara over to the file toom where inside, they had seen a cluster of papers. "I've been trying to organize these files all day ling... and I can't seem to get them to the right place. Can any of you please help me to get them straight? Maybe we can find that file that you are looking for." Aimee asked in her hope and frustration.
(OOC: Sorry for the long wait. Its been a busy weekend here... or what little of it there is left.) -
As Aimee was walking down the halls, she had heard a voice coming from behind her. Aimee was dressed in a doctor's smock with black pants and hospital shoes. Her light brown curly hair was cut somewhat short, only reaching down to her shoulders.
The voice startled her just a bit but she then looked behind her and seen Kara, though she didn't recognize Kara just yet. "Yes, Nurse? What can I do for you?" Aimee asked in her slight French Canadian accent after catching her breath. -
It had been nearly 4 days since Doctor Aimee LeBlanc had arrived from Montreal and already, her new position as the head of the ward that she was assigned to was giving her fits. She was mostly a very organized person but patient records and files were very cluttered and almost disorganized.
She had spent most of that day trying to sort things out and get them into the right place for easier access. If she had a secretary, that secretary would be doing most of that paperwork while Aimee would be doing what she loved doing the most... taking care of patients and spending more time with her own daughter, Kimmie and her two cats Sky and April.
It had taken her a while to sort most of the records out... but still, the job was not done. She had sent in a request to the Hospital Administrators to hire a temporary secretary so this filing could get done but at the moment, she decided that a break was in order.
Aimee decided to walk around the ward, trying to check up on the various patients that were there... and hopefully to talk to a few doctors along the way. Adjusting to a new hospital was bad enough... but it seemed worse when there was no one to talk to at the moment.
(And there you go... another person at the hospital for those of you in there to be with.) -
((I'll try to give this a shot late tonight after I get home from work. Right now, I am thinking of a character but... late tonight, the results will come.
Oh and a heads up. During the week (Monday-Friday), there will be times where I may be gone for a time frame from 14 hours at a time to as long as about 2-3 days depending on how crazy work gets and if I am awake enough to post when I get home late nights.)) -
That is a pretty broad question. I am thinking that it would be an action script but would it be a Martial Arts movie, a romance... a buddy movie. What kind of elements would it have.
-
I'll go through the first set of questions and then the second set:
1. Do you Role Play more than 90% of the time you spend playing COH?
Yes... about 99.9% of the time.
2. About how many hours per week do you play COH?
About 25-30
3. About how many hours per week to you spend Role Playing in COH?
See #2
4. On a scale of 1-10, how much do you think your primary toon is a reflection of yourself? (1 = your toon is not at all like you 10 = your toon is a lot like you)
I really don't have a primary but I can say is that all of my toons have at least one aspect of me in them... so about a 7 on every one of them.
5. Why do you like to Role Play? (Or why is Role Playing more fun than just playing COH?)
I like the interaction, plus playing without RPing is very boring at times.
6. Do you play any other MMORPGs? If so, do you Role Play when you play them?
Sort of. I play GW once in a blue moon... and yes I RP in that game too.
7. To what degree does your Super/Villain Group (if you belong to one) encourage/discourage Role Playing?
Oh strongly encouraged... most definately... all of them that I am in.
8. If you are part of a Role playing Super/Villain Group, would your group have a problem with a non-RP-ing observer (tag-along) for an hour or so?
It depends on the person or the group that I am in at the moment that I am playing.
9. Can I follow-up with you with more (brief) questions either in-game or via a forum PM?
Sure.
And now, the second set of questions:
1. In what state/country are you located?
California
2. What is your approximate age range? (Which of these ranges does your age fall: under 18, 18-23, 23-30, 30-35, 35-40, 40-50, 50+)
23-30
3. What do you do for a living? (what's your general occupation?)
I am unemployed at the moment... but I used to be in the Manufacturing field. -
Another thing that I would have to ask is... where did your character come from? That usually helps a LOT in making these descriptions easier.

(How about something like this
Shinebayar was born in Lower Mongolia in a small village with only a few people inside of it. With not much to do other than hiking, she started to travel to the nearby mountains and climb... mostly by herself. Curious by nature, Shinebayar had stumbled across a strange cave that was legendary in her own village as a shrine to the great Buddha. Inside the cave, she found a strange mystical treasure and decided to keep it for her own... but once she got outside the cave, than she found out about its mystical origins. The effects of the weather didn't seem to bother her when she carried the treasure since it had started to work its magic, giving her control over the ice and cold temperatures. Instead of using these powers for good, she got greedy and started to rob banks during her worldly travels... but after being thrown in the Zig during a botched robbery attempt, she then escaped and is now terrorizing the Rogue Isles... in an attempt to assert her power over others.
(I hope that would give you an idea. I am not sure if she is one of those power hungry characters but that should give you a basic idea.) -
After speaking with her contact back at Greywing Academy, the truth was finally revealed to Kei that the contact was not a double-agent at all... but a mercenary, trying to make a buck on the side.
Kei was happy to finally feel at ease and know that she could try to do some things on her own. She was not fond of taking strict orders and she was not thrilled to be learning in the ways of Lord Recluse. Deep inside of her was two minds trying to fight for good and evil all at the same time.
One side of her mind was a 15 year old Japanese girl who just wanted to have friends and and have fun at the same time... but the other side of her mind was an adult black cat, who wanted to stalk and prey for food... like any normal cat should. The two minds kept battling constantly for control for the past month or so after Kei sneaked out of Greywing but as soon as the contact had found Kei and got all of the information that he needed, He decided that Greywing was not the right place for Kei.
"I think yer gonna like this school better. Recluse is an idiot for trying to make ya a pet animal. Where I am gonna send ya is what I think going to be much better." The contact said.
Kei's cat-ears perked up as she heard the details... a mercenary school, with being able to do what she pleased, to an extent. There were no straight lines and no having to make decision strictly one way or the other... just go on the path that she decided was the best.
It wasn't often that her cat-side and her human side agreed on things.... but in this instance, both of them agreed to go into this new school. The contact led her onto the small plane and into the new life that Kei was about to embark on.
As they landed, Kei looked around and seen some familiar faces... such as Shiro, Cobalt and Anna... but also some new faces and things around her that didn't seem to be familiar. Kei started acting like a cat would, feeling out the territory and hoping that either one of the new people... or one of the familiar faces could find her.
(OOC: This is something that my character in SV 101 is more accustomed to. I hope that you all do not mind another refugee *Smiles* Don't worry... This character has already been written out of SV 101. I will try to post as much as I can... but please try not to have 30 posts in one day... I can not keep up with that pace.) -
"Mai Tai?" Narshawn did know how the drink was made, but every person seemed to have their own take on things in this City. She had been chastised thoroughly by a gentleman on her making of a Martini, so she thought better to ask.
"Perhaps you would be so kind, and instruct me?"
Ladies' Mai Tai
1 oz. Royal Hawaiian Light Rum
1 oz. Lemon Hart 86 Demerara Rum
1 oz. Bols Orange Curacao
Dash French Orgeat Syrup
Dash Mandala's Rock Candy Syrup
Juice of half a Lime
1/4 oz. Lemon Juice
Orange Juice
"We do squeeze our juices fresh," Narshawn added.
Jenni looked at the instructions and smiled. The Ladies recipie was a little different than what she was used to but there was a couple of variations that she usually put in the drink. "Sure. I would be glad to." She said seeing the ingrediants coming out from behind the bar.
She put in nearly the same amount of the Rums but with a little more than was described (adding 1/4 oz. to each of the rums) and instead of the Orange juice, she substituted Pineapple juice for the extra "tang". Once the mix was made up, she offered Narshawn a taste.
"Now this is how we make it in Maui. Its a little varaition since Oranges are not common there fresh. Have a sip if you like." She said smiling as she grabbed two straws and put it in the drink.
((OOC: Sorry it has been a while since I had posted. I had a very busy couple of days.)) -
"Good evening," Narshawn said, passing by with Nick's beer. "I am Narshawn, the bartender, and I will be back in a moment." She continued down the bar, leaving the beer in front of the slightly untidy man already gazing at a glass of scotch.
Jenni nodded softly as she then waited for Narshawn to take care of the man sitting next to Jenni.
She returned after a short, and friendly exchange with him.
"Welcome to Ladies, how may I help you?" She smiled, closed lipped. She never really seemed to have a complete expression, but she tried. A smile that did not reach the eyes, a frown that did not seem equal on both sides of her face. Facial expression was not normal, but she tried as a matter of politeness.
"Well... I am wondering what you have." Jenni said hoping to find out.
"We have a full menu, just as the restaurant, and a large selection of beverages. You look to be attending, or returning from, a festival. Perhaps something celebratory?" The woman had the proportions of a child, barely over four feet tall, but her manners were mature.
Jenni giggled softly at the short Narshawn's remarks. "You can say... that I am always in a festival of some sort... but yes, I am celebrating something very exciting. I just came back to town after winning the Women's Division of the Oahu Surfing Invitational back home in Hawai'i. I am soo stoked that I finally won it." She said smiling as she then looked over at the menu.
"You wouldn't happen to know how to serve Mai Tais, would you? If not, I can show you how I do it in Maui if you like." She said as she looked around the bar and smiling. 'I could get used to this place' she thought to herself as she waited for Narshawn's response. -

Katarin looked at the license, realizing that it was some official document. The photo and the woman were the same, but she had no idea what it declared.
"You have no need to prove you're identity to me, Miss. I am not an authority or," the consternation on her face indicated she regretted the last statement. "I mean," she continued in her sharp accent, "you do not need to show me identification."
Where she was from, failure to produce papers was a serious, serious offense. Gal had been very kind in showing the young woman differences between this world and her own, but some things were taught by experience. Her smile returned, the best way to make amends.
"Please, the bar is through here." She led down the short hall, holding the passage door open. Beyond, the warmth and sounds of the bar drifted back.
[/ QUOTE ]
Jenni looked over at the tall woman and then smiled as she was led in. "Mahalo Nui." She said with her perky smile as her lei was attracting a LOT of attention towards her. She finally made her way to the bar and smiled, seeing that the section of the bar that she was sitting in was non-smoking, and hoping to see the sights of the bar that was around her after getting a couple of drinks here and there.
She finally took a seat and waited for the bartender to take her order, hoping that the bar had the drink that she had in mind. -

((OOC: Too late to join? Nonsense, lass, all are welcome, and I can manipulate time as I see fit))
The green haired woman smiled, taking in the leisure wear and the smiling woman wearing it. The lei was something new, she had never seen it's like, but the flowers were beautiful.
"A dress code, yes there is. You look to be wearing native attire," she misunderstood the shorts, as she misunderstood much about the world, "and Miss Brown allows that."
"Welcome to Ladies by the Lake, would you care to dine with us?" This word, 'Aloha', she did not recognize, but it was rude to ask about it, perhaps later she would ask Beth.
((OOC: We will assume that Lili's visit was before this encounter, and perhaps concluded just before. Gal is on her way to meet Lili, and K is free to speak to Jenni. I try to keep everyone involved, and realize that some people can only post once a day. No worries, post as you feel, and I will handle the timing. Or, interact and enjoy!))
[/ QUOTE ]
((OOC: That works for me too. I wasn't intending on having Lili seeing Jenni yet anyways so it would be a little surprise... hehe))
Jenni looked over and smiled. "I might dine later on... but I would like to partake with your bar if that is OK." She said flashing out her Hawaii Driver's License which showed that she was over 21.
"I hope that you recognize out-of-state licenses." Jenni said smiling in her usual laid-back and chipper self. "I never got a chance to go back to the tents and get my security badge after I got off the plane. I am sorry if that is an inconvienience." She said. It was a 6 hour time difference to Jenni at the moment since her body was still on Maui time. Even though it was 4 Pm to everyone else, to Jenni it was still 10 Am. -
"High Wire" Jenni Shinobe had returned into Paragon City after coming back from her native Maui. She was excited to see her friends again and to tell them about her latest win in the Oahu Invitational surfing contest. She was a Japanese looking girl but spoke in a laid back attitude, wearing her black T-shirt and blue Khaki shorts with a colorful Lei around her neck. Her long black hair was in a pony tail that day as she then turned the corner, seeing the sign on the restaurant doors.
"Ladies of the Lake? It sounds like a very cool place to kick back. I hope that they serve Mai Tais." She said to herself as she then approached the door.
"Aloha? Is this place open for service and... is there a specific dress code that I must abide by before I enter?" She asked the tall woman at the door, not noticing the familiar face of Lili nearby.
((OOC: I hope that I an not too late to join. This sounds like a VERY good RP here.)) -

Finishing his gruesome meal, Spyne decided to thank Arauk by making sure he wasn't filled with lead. Whispering, he said, "A tommy gun is a small metal object that emits very small and fas-moving things that will hurt very, very much when hit with them. I'm not up-to-date with Italian, but I believe a paisonos is a person, and capieche means, 'Okay?' And we should not have to take any orders from the human except to not touch her. I am informing you not because I worry for you, but as thanks for helping supply me of food. If you wish for any more, you must do something for me. I always repay my debts." With those words, Spyne swept his long red cloak around so that it would nopt tangle and clopped over to the former crime boss. EExtending a hand, he said, "I am Spyne. You do not have to shake my hand if you do not wish, and I know that many would prefer not to. I respect your authority, but do not under any circumstance believe you control me. Are we clear young one?"
[/ QUOTE ]
Lori looked over at the spiney Spyne and smiled. She did think about shaking Spyne's hand but under the circumstances (especially since she could tell that Spyne's skin would possibly be very painful from the little spines protruding from him), she decided to move her hand as close as she could and do a mock-shaking of his hand.
"Yeah. A "Family" is only as good as the sum of its components. Mama Ricci taught me that. Grazi for the explanations about mi Italiano." She said with a little smile. "I believe that I can trust you enough to maybe ... give out a little... information about our 'Family'?" Lori whispered, hoping to know a little more about the people... or things... or whatever they may call themselves.
OOC: Lori's hair is short and dark blond. You can barely see it under her Fedora hat.
