Veng stacking was fun once in awhile, but it was bull[censored]. I'm not going to pretend like we didn't practice veng gathers in NDX - everyone of our builds had it. It was cheesy, and a few of us completely hated it after a few matches with it.

Around 4-stacked it became a waste of time to hit Aim or BU on a blaster. 7-stacked was... well, it was special. People hated us so much, and that almost made it worth using it.

Btw, Demon's way of examining arena history via patch notes is very smart. Almost every change (after the initial chaos of organized PvP teams) in the patch notes directly changed the optimal lineups in some way or another. Ice blasters replaced with fire blasters was a big one. IO's, of course. When blaster unresistible damage was reduced, 2-sonic teams became unstoppable with tons of damage resistance. Immediately blasters began getting swapped with extra rad/psy's for more debuff and the psy damage. Now you guys get to figure out i12.

lol I still remember my first practice with another team when I joined JAL. It was NDX - I was checking builds and even putz had veng lol...you guys lost one and boom veng was a going...5, 6 stacked and we were dropping like flies..lol...you were like the veng gather masters XD.

Oh I am trying - it's just - drain psyche and psychic shockwave on a dom are - insaaaane..give it to an AT with higher dmg base and possibly higher dmg mulitpliers (if they get an aim and bu in that..) wowsa -

No one I know wanted thermal. Everyone of them wanted a real secondary to be added that didn't just act as a grab bag of other sets already available. Dark, Cold, Traps, would it have killed them to add a controller secondary that someone may have wanted?

As a reminder of the scope of Powerset Proliferation, it was to port existing powersets, not to create new ones. While some people consider the Blaster Psi secondary to be a new one, it's not - it's pretty much Dom Psi moved over (with balance tweaking).

How does empathy not work as a concept for a villain. If you want to get techincal empath, the hellion in the Marvel comics was a villian...The conceptual abilities do not drive good an evil. AB turns doms into perma dom killing machines. How is absorb pain not a villain concept. Perhaps an evil empath would love to absorb the pain of others...Empath buffs are hands down the best buffs in the game - change the color, change the name but give them to the red side.

Seriously have you ever played a villain? Even looking at this totally from a pve perspective you can see the biasness that the devs have towards villains. Heroes get the best buff villains sets. With Power Boost those sets get to be even better. Secondly look at the Patron powers vs the Epics, look at the overall design of the STF vs LRSF. One requires a balanced team to succeed easier the other requires a team heavily skewed with certain builds to succeed easier. Really to me aside from Battle Axe and Storm powers going villainside, villains were royally screwed if you cant see that then you are playing a totally different game than the rest of us.

LoL@ Elec/Elec Stalkers, Earth/Elec Doms. I can see doms killing themselves if they get chain induction and pair it with Mind or Plant.
