For those who haven't done an Ouroboros mission yet, after you complete it the screen goes all sepia tone, which is a very cool effect. I grabbed a screenshot of Monster Child in his demon form to show that. I thought it looked cool.

I'm not sure I'm following the Influence thing, either, but my SG on Pinnacle, Big Damn Heroes, is always willing to team with cool players, and of course I have my Tank in the Envisionaries who's ready to chillax with peeps.

I like both names, although I do wonder why you didn't roll an alt, instead. With the kind of Influence Powerforge had (and is capable of generating as a 50), you can make an alt's life significantly easier by supplying it with any IOs it needs. It's not like getting to 22ish is any great hardship, and having a sugar daddy makes it all the easier, even solo.

The only reason I ask is because other than the soccer ball hat, it looks pretty straightforward. Since we have all of those other elements in the game, it's mostly a straight copy.

It's a direct copy of a Phil Hale painting. I recall seeing it in one of the collections of Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art.

Although I couldn't find that specific image online, Hale does have a few of a similar ilk: 1 2 3

It could be an ape of Jon Foster, but it really looks like Hale's work to me.

I Googled the question, and the major anime cons look to have disallowed selling fan art. In 2006 Otakon even said they were thinking about banning *displaying* fan art... I guess they thought maybe they consider it advertising for future illegal activity.

Couldn't find anything definitive about Comic Con. Seems like it is a "look the other way" situation.

I don't go to cons, so I don't know first hand what the situation is.

I have that issue of Spectrum.

I believe it's technically illegal, but companies look the other way. Anime is another story altogether. I recall hearing that the major anime cons have banned fan art outright.
