    I dislike the 10 second too, but -75% end loss is still too much for Rage. -25% is fair and close to Hasten's crash, the def debuff for 10 seconds really is a penalty that fits (too tired to dodge), and even the 10 seconds of no hostile actions fits as well, it's just stacking all 3 is a bit much.

We tanks can survive almost anything beyond the 10-15 seconds....so what is the complaint? If it was a damage debuff then it would mean nothing because we would not hold aggro through a weak punchvoke. If we are actaully talking about serving our team....Comeon now a well made team would not care if the Tank sat and read a newspaper while they fought as long as he held Aggro.

    So what is the arguement truthfully about? I say aslong as I can taunt its a welcomed addition.

    As it stands right now, you cannot Taunt or anything else of a non-self only nature in that 10 second period. And by testing people have done, our passive abilities (Invinc, Chilling Embrace, Mud Pots, etc.) are not even generating aggro in that window.

    My only qualms about the 10 seconds of inactivity is teaming. Soloing, it should not pose a major issue. The 10 seconds of no actions will be annoying though, and more of a player penalty then a character one. 10 seconds can be an eternity in battle, making it hard to hold aggro. Also a warning indicator would be nice, not just for Rage, but also Unstoppable, Elude, MoG, etc.
  4. They do not have to accept the TP if the option is off, I have it on, but new people may not know about it, and will suddenly be TPed by anyone that can target them. This can happen in groups now too, but at least you know to not group with that person. Also the prompt window for this and blind group invites gets in the way while fighting, so again it's intrusion is far more irksome then it's minimal benefit. If you ignore the griefer but do not know that you can turn the TP on, can they still TP you even if ignored? I do not know here of course. Also how much good would it even be? You can target your teammate from almost anywhere in zone by using the team window to target them. TPing on the street would require you to be able to target them, so it would be very short ranged.

    I am sorry if it appears I am attacking you Voodoocompany but the gains of this idea are overwhelmed by the drawbacks, and turn a good idea in theory to not so good in practice.

    It DOES have merit, but too many people are going to play "abuse the noob" with this. If it was only used beneficially I would whole-heartedly concur. As it is, it's just not worth it. The small benefit of being able to TP anyone will be out-weighed by the very fact that you can TP anyone, and TP them too high so they fall and almost die, Tp them into big groups out of SK-range, Tp them out of SK range in a nasty zone, etc.

    Small hijack, but since there is now an accept/decline pop up for these powers if the player chooses, the limitation of it only applying to a teammate should be revisited and hopefully gotten rid of.

    This takes care of SuperGroups, as well as promotes the random "help your fellow hero" mentality.

    Definately not. I get enough blind invites as it is, mostly from PLer beggars. No one needs to get constant unwanted TP spams. Also, unless they fixed the bug, if 2 people try to TP you at once it overrides the prompt and you still get TPed, so this could be too easily abused. Making it SG only, or adding the raid set-up for multi-group raids like EQ has, would work though.

    Rage change please. Everytime I play an alt with Build-Up I miss Rage all the more. Build-Up is not my favorite but better then the current live Rage. At least Build-Up wont kill toggles in a room of Maltas when it expires.

    Devs, is there anything going on with Rage? I know it's in the pipeline and you want to get other things done as well, but you did say the current Rage was too harsh and it's been 2 weeks with nothing. We would like this ironed out, and to see if we can get a useful Rage out of this again. It was always a gamble at high levels anyway, but now it's just poo. If we can get a useful and balanced Rage it would make a lot of us SS Tankers happy.

    This could get odd, if they force you to attack someone. Do they make you use your best attack? Worst? If you have an attack set to auto, will it use that? Will it only take attacks from the tray, so you could pull some stuff off of it, to not be forced to use it? Will it differentiate between a single target attack and AoEs? Hand Clap is an attack but is merely stun/knockdown, will it consider powers like this for forced attacks? Lot's of possibilities here.

    I like this part! I hope we can modify our looks in game, but that they stay the way they are when this is released. For awhile on the test server the proportions were off. But giving us the option to change looks a little, and new costumes should be great!

    Still no Rage to test yet. I really want to get the new Rage hammered out so we can decide if the new one will be useful or poo. Currently it's poo. Hopefully this delay is mostly due to the memory leak fix, as mentioned elsewhere.

    My SG mates joke that they can tell I'm a RL female because my toons actually wear clothes! My main's primary costume is a full set of metal armor with helmet and goggles. I do have one skimpy "evening outfit" but that's for when I'm teaming with my RL husband!

    Well, I am a "gamer grrl" that has all female toons, but they do not wear a lot. I get the "you must be a guy, since your toons are wearing such skimpy outfits."a lot. I just like the look really. I see no harm in showing off, when the characters can be so gorgeous, and I like to look at them too. Having a character wearing very little is not "the sign of a harlot", I do not equate nudity and beauty with promiscuity myself. Vixen was liberated from a lab, where she was grown in a tank. She has the appearance of a beautiful 20 year old woman, but is only 3 at this time in game. She never undetstood the problem people have with nudity and such, since she is naive and quite trusting. My new anthropomorphic cat is clad only in her fur, and my other toons' do not tend to wear much really. I see no harm in that.

I yearn for the days of yore when I could Rage most furiously to suffer not my foes' presence for as long periods of time as I currently do. We, the SS Tanker community most sincerely implore you, the Development team of the most enjoyable CoH to conjure a new Rage for us to partake in soon.

    Spot on! I hate missing with a passion. This is why I have an acc in all my attacks even on my Blaster with TD.

    This assumes they have hasten and its 6 slotted. And yes I know a couple of level 38s that don't use hasten. Sure I think they are nuts but they do it.

    Im 47 and I do not have Hasten. It is totally wrong for my concept and I have no desire to lose end suddenly. That is a big part of the reason I dislike the test Rage that went live. I used to use Rage when it was a stun very rarely until I found out about Uy cancelling it. Then I used it more but not all the time.

    I have Perma-rage now after tweaking my enhances, some do not or cannot due to enhance cost or just gettting Rage and not having enough slots in it or Hasten.

    I just checked the new patch notes and it does list the end drain for Rage. I hope we hear from a red name soon on this. If this is going to be the way Rage is now even after Statesman said it was too harsh (and it is) then most of us would like to drop this abomination asap.

So the drops are probably as a result of not quite perma but close. Make all them reducs green and maybe it would work. I am not planning to do that till 42...     That sounds right to me. Mine has a slight overlap and when the old Rage dies it makes the Rage sound and my defense goes down but the end stays. Since I have the new Rage running I think that creates a condition that averts the end drop. It still drops the first Rage crash per zone. So I just wait it out in a mission and then re-toggle and move on. I really want them to fix this, as it feels wrong to use it this way. I may just stop using it all together till they do.

    Make due? I made due when they made the changes to invul before. I made due when i lost perma unstop, i respeced it out. I made due when i had to spend almost a solid day on test figuring out how to mix certain powers to make my invul/ss tank playable, not just at 50, but also at lower levels when i exemped down to help out my SG mates. Now i have to make due again?

    I have never seen devs screw [censored] up like they do here. I used to play a game called "the realm" cheesy little MMOG. The devs there screwed up a lot too. finally everyone left as it wasn't any fun anymore. I'm not saying they are all bad because they do add some cool things. Winterlord being one of them. but the fact that I have to completely relearn a character evrytime a patch comes out is insane. I have 6 slotted hasten and 2 slotted rage. I died 3 times in a mission fighting level 52 mobsters. First 2 times were because i wasnt' paying attention and when my end dropped to 0 and all of my toggles dropped i thought I had been mezzed somehow. so i took it on the chin. The third time i noticed what happened and was in shock. i had to open a browser and go read the changes. I agree with the dude that said that such a severe change should have been put in the login screen.

    So, now my tank has to adapt to another play style. one where LT's, Bosses, and AV's have more health, and i do LESS damage. I was already the lowest damage tank out there.

    Ok, enough of my rant.

    Is it going to be fixed? if so, when? If not then those of you that want to start a guild on EQ2 send me email. Id rather give my money to devs that aren't screwing me.

    I can sympathize with you, but Statesman had previously said that the end drop was too harsh and they were cooking up something else.

    And SoE are not "screw" less, I have been in EQ 2 years, and when they publicly admitted that GoD and OoW should have been 1 expansion but still made you pay ful price for both I left for a couple of months and only play now due to my guild and non-guild friends. The content of GoD was planned for people who were 66+ they had said and you could not get above 65 till OoW was released.

    This Rage change coming live on the coat-tails of the Invuln changes and delayed respec are annoying to be sure, but considering Statesman said the end drain was too harsh, I am sure something else will be ready for test soon.
