Likely been asked before, but Search didn't turn up anything I immediately noticed...
Has there been any talk of providing lifetime subscriptions to CoX, like a certain other distinguished competitor?
I love this game, but typically only buy a month here or there as I find scratch that I can afford to play (food, shelter, and diapers take precedence, sry).
I know "lifetime subscriptions" are best used for start-up's, rather than established games, but you know, here's to hoping. ;D -
Quote:Yep.Just to clarify you went:
- "Mission Architect is awesome! Lemme find something to play..."
- Search
- Found mission of choice
- Pressed PLAY
- Talked to the contact
- They ignored you?
Didn't think an "invalid" or "banned" mission would show up (figuring they are sent to sleep with the electronic fishes, so to speak), so that's likely my culprit.
I'll probably try the "Hall of Famers" or "Dev's Choice" from now on.
(which, unfortunately, is not the intent behind AE. But I read AE's got some changes coming, so hopefully it'll take care of itself there... -
Last night, I tried to get my new lvl6 Corrupter to do some AE missions.
Talked to the computer, hit the "Play" button, but the holograph wouldn't acknowledge I had a mission.
Is this a bug? Or am I being blind, and need to be <level> before I can use AE?
(not new to game, though I've been away for a while) -
How about a tiered XP penalty?
Standard MA missions would see a -20% XP penalty, while a 'Hall of Fame' gets only a -10% penalty, and a Dev's Choice gets no penalty at all (i.e. a regular mish).
A -20% penalty would seem enough to deter PL'ing off the MA to me (yeah, your XP per minute could still be higher than a normal mission...but it's probably higher on a different "farm" mission, which limits participitation). -
Only up to 45 on my Bane, though there's probably nothing new I'll discover in the interim...
Might work on it during the week. -

Just a quick follow up:
We have no plans of getting rid of freespecs. Each Issue that brings with it major power changes (which is pretty much every single one, eh?) will bring a freespec with it.
We have no plans of getting rid of the respec trials.
We have no plans of getting rid of the dropped Respec Recipes.
We have no plans of getting rid of the Veteran Respecs that your account earns.
This is simply another way to get a Respec onto your character.

Then this is just cool all around!
(Glad I didn't decide to try to flip Rescpec Recipes, though...)
