"God Bless you." The Avatar said dryly.
He then vanished from his spot, reappeared directly in front of Krystell...
And pulled his hand back to slap her.
It may have looked silly...
But that little silly slap had obliterated black holes before. If it hit Krystell, it was going to hurt. -
~That won't work...~ Said a mocking voice from everywhere.
"You seek to rock my faith. Evil does that." The avatar said in a voice as cold as the arctic.
Suddenly, the avatar flapped its wings...
And vanished, reappearing directly in front of Shoshemi.
Then it reached out with its left hand, and SLAPPED the force field. It looked truely ridiculous.
It felt a good deal less ridiculous when the force field shattered.
The avatar raised his staff, brimming with power, and brought it down upon Shoshemi.
((You are on the right track, but again, simply TALKING to him is not going to work.)) -
Go ahead! Send this to Posi or States!
This is radical! -
Hmmmm...
You know...This is actually a good idea...
A VERY good idea...
The only problems I can see with it being that...
A: This means squishies not MEANT to do insane amounts of damage now WILL be able to do so.
Example...
Petless masterminds will now be elevated from mostly cute and harmless to MODERATELY annoying.
And what about energy melee users?
Their damage potential will now be god-like. They will be able to go down from killing bosses in 5 seconds to killing bosses in 3 seconds.
PvP will become even more of a nightmare then it is now.
NPCs will start having their own signature powers, (more then they already have, I mean.)
But overall, I'd say this is an interesting idea... -
Not really...Just look at Hallucinogen and Essex!
I mean, they are pint-sized children and they are already-

((I'm going to make a re-post.))
The Darkness of the warehouse was heavy with silence. The sound of soft footsteps in the distance indicated gaurds.
But Lord Diov didn't care.
He seemed to step out of thin air by the safe.
To reclaim what was rightfully his.
He stared at the safe until the door opened before his will. The item within floated into his outreached hand.
And the next moment, he was gone.
-----
It was a bright Summer's day...
So naturally, the red lightning bolt tearing down from the heavens was near invisible. It struck the warehouse, and nobody even raised so much as an eyebrow.
Within the warehouse, a slight red glow could be observed in the roof...As an electrical current ran through the pipes and girder...And finally traveled down a final shaft, and arced out onto the floor.
Lord H'taed materialized in a mini-storm of electricity. The static pop had been very soft, and no gaurds had seen the glow.
He aimem a clawed hand at the safe...Electrical power surging through him, polerizing the metal...
And the door swung open.
Lord H'taed grabbed the item within, then in a mini-storm of static...
He was gone.
-----
The collective drifted through the streets, invisible...
They infected a single pedistrian, and ordered him to wait.
Then the collective drifted into the warehouse. It passed by various gaurds, but didn't infect them.
They had a specific target in mind.
The commander, (who had insisted on wearing the non-standard uniform to prove it) Was smoking a cigar...
The collective raced in and infected him.
***
A few moments later, the commander, (who if anyone had looked closely enough, was sweating and crying profusely) was opening the safe...
He grabbed the item inside, and began to leave the building. None of his troops questioned him. He WAS the commander, after all.
Outside, he handed the item to the infected citizen, who got into a car then drove away.
***
A few hours later, the commander's corpse had been discovered on the sidewalk. He had been ripped into four seperate pieces, which had then been impaled on parking meters.
-----
It was night.
The gaurds at the back door had already shot down five supers who had come their way. The night was young, and they obviously expected more.
They heard footsteps, and soft laughter from around the corner. They raised their weapons...
Only to see a couple, hand in hand, walking straight by the ally as if it didn't exist. The gaurds relaxed.
WHAM!
They were all instantly crushed and killed by the truck that had been levitated over their heads while the couple had walked by.
The couple came back to the ally, and stood before the door into the warehouse.
"...There are lots of gaurds inside..." Charles Dark Aura mused.
"So why even bother to go inside?" Emily Dark Aura asked.
"You always did come up with the best ideas, darling..."
***
A few moments later...
***
The commander, surrounded by his troops, sat on the safe, smoking a cigar and reading through some documents.
When suddenly, there was a very loud schreeching noise from everywhere at once.
The troops looked around, flipping the safties on their weapons off...
When suddenly, the entire roof ripped its self off the building. The metal plate ccompacted into a single metalic ball...
Another schreech was heard.
Before any of the troops could react, the walls were compacted, sucking them along with it...
Until there was another metalic ball of scrap hanging in the air by the second. Blood dripped freely from it.
A few moments later, the huge amount of scrap unraveled its self. The couple spent a few minutes picking through the various items, until they came across what they were looking for. The blood-stained safe.
They ripped it apart with their telekinetic might, retrieved the item within, and departed the scene.
All that was left was a huge mountain of scrap and trash where the warehouse had once stood to mark their presence.
-----
The dark entity descended onto the streets. It normally didn't come to this plane of existance, but dire needs invoked dire measures.
The dark, shadowy figure leaned on a wall across the street from the warehouse. It extended a black hand outwards into the light of a lamp-post, the open palm revealed...
The hand closed into a balled fist.
Several seconds later, the fist opened to reveal the item, sitting in the dark figure's palm, as if it had always been there.
The dark figure departed to where ever he had originally come from along with the item, never to be seen again except for in the darkest of nightmares. -
((Hey! That's MY trick!
*Bonks Brawler on the head, steals time machine back, and stomps off muttering something about copyright infringment.*)) -
Lord Diov would simply rift into the warehouse, force the safe to open with his gem, rift out of said warehouse.
Lord H'taed would get into the warehouse via a lightning bolt which would conduct along the metalic structure, through various girders and pipes, and into a spot by the safe. He would then magnetize the safe to force it to open, then use the lightning bolt trick to get out again via the same conductive girders/pipes.
The Psycho Fear would just drift in, infect the head guy without anyone else noticing him, and force him to open the safe, grab the goodie, and carry it outside to a waiting already infected servant.
Charles and Emily Dark Aura would just rip the entire warehouse apart with their telekinesis, rip the safe apart with the same, and call it a day.
Demon Void would just sit outside the warehouse, close his palm, and then open it. When his palm opens, the goodie is there. -
((Oh great, his ONE FATAL WEAKNESS and someone has already found it? I was expecting him to last a bit longer.))
-
((He has nothing to do with the Judgement. He is PURE JUSTICE INCARNATE.
Has someone ever sneezed in front of you and you didn't say God Bless you?
You will be found wanting in his eyes. Again, he has no actual morality to get in the way of his judging. He doesn't care if you ARE above good and evil.)) -
((Okie dokie then. You don't appreciate his power? He'll immediatly switch Krystell to his prime target when she gets back.
))
-
((He IS...Heating up the temp in front of your eyes, and shoving it forward. You can turn around, bu all he'd have to do it simply move the direction he's shunting the air in...And I'm going to bed now. cyas.))
-
((Not really. He's manipulating the tempertue in the room, how exactly would turning around stop that?))
-
((Wrong again...It's a little ability of his. Lord Diov has used him before, and one of his favorite methods of punishing the wicked is by "Frying their brains and making their heads explode." What he's doing is just shunting a considerable amount of heat through your eyes and into your brain.))
Closing her eyes seemed to do almost nothing. The strange heat slipped through her eyelids and continued to throb in the sockets, steadily increasing in temperture. -
The Avatar simply continued to twirl its staff, the purple energy rushing about it faster every second. When Shoshemi's gravity well clamped onto it, The avatar simply flapped its wings once, and the hold over it seemed broken.
And Shoshemi was not right at all. The heat gathering around her eyes had absolutely nothing to do with the light.
And both of them noticed that it continued to get steadily hotter. It was a very slow change, but it was there. Soon, their eyes felt dry in their sockets.
(yuck, that would feel nasty.) -
((Hehehehehe...I was saving this creature for the Final Fight Thread, but this'll do just as good for its first field test...Don't be fooled by first impressions.))
Slowly, a storm of white light started to swirl at the far hand of the chamber. Slowly a figure tookm shape.
Starting foot first, avian clawed feet formed...it went up to feathered legs, which materialed smooth ivory and white-plated armor with golden emblems engraved on it. A torso made entire of white, which was soon covered by flowing tan robes, swirling and covered with purple mystical runes. Arms with thick cords of mucle, quickly covered by more armor formed, and a set of clawed avian hands grasped hold of a plain silver staff that appeared from the air. Wings of dazling white, complete with feathers, erupted from the figure's back, and finally, a head.
Long flowing white hair, a firm and set pair of lips, and a ridgid nose. A set of hard and cold white eyes completed the face.
"I...Am...The Avatar of Justice..."
It said slowly.
"I have peered into your soul and found you wanting. Have at you."
It flapped its wings experimentally, hovering a few inches off the ground, and twirled the staff in the air. Three noticable things happened.
Both Shoshemi and Alex felt a strange soft heat gathering around their eyes.
The twirling staff began to glow purple with energy.
And a storm of white glowing mist began to swirl around the avatar's legs.
((Meet the Avatar of Justice. Please note, he is not, as you might imangine him "Good." He is incarnate PURE Justice, with no compassion, mercy, reasoning, common sense, or anything else to get in the way. So trying to talk to him is not going to work.)) -
The scroll was blank at first.
Then words began to flow across it, as if written by an invisible hand.
"Hello. I am the security scroll. It is my job to hold all the passwords and codes for Husk Corporation. However, due to me being jammed into such a small cramped peice of rotting paper, I have developed a cruel sense of humor, and I enjoy 'judging' peopler who enter this room."
The ink stayed on the parchment for a while, before fading away. New words began to form...
"As of such, by now you are probably wondering if you are 'Beyond Good and Evil.' The answer?"
The words wiped themselves clean again. There was a longer pause this time.
"No. You are not Beyond Good and Evil. You may not be inheritly evil, but you definatly were evil in the situation presented to you. Insulting and dismissing the ones who you should have tried to made amends with, and THANKING the man who put you through that much trauma and caused so much pain and suffering? I care not for how many lives you save every second. That one moment was all that mattered to me. You are not beyond Good and Evil. You are amongst it like the primitive fool that you are. Now you must face the consequences."
These words wiped themselves clean as well. One final line appeared.
"We Regret to Inform You....."
Then the parchment melted in her hands.
((RL time, you have eternity. RP time, you have five seconds before all hell breaks loose.)) -
And suddenly, all three figments simply faded.
The bars closed back down over the three openings.
However, the door leading back out into the hallway remained firmly shut.
Alex then realized she was holding the parchment in her hand, unopened. -
The father just cackled evily again.
"Oh my sweet little brat! Just as sassy as ever! You're forgetting something! I'm not just "your father" anymore! I am a direct figment of your soul conjured by Lord Diov! You will find that you are nothing but what you are-A silly little girl-before my might! For your stupidity in becoming a hero, after MULTIPLE beatings and warnings...YOU MUST DIE."
The ghost groaned again.
"I have gained much wisdom from the world after this! My new knowledge has made me aware of the many mistakes I made in life! I ask the all-mighty authority of those who are what wrecked my life, and the answer was YOU! YOU! YOU SAT THERE AND WATCHED ME DIE! WHO YOU ARE NOW DOES NOT CHANGE WHO YOU USED TO BE! AND YOU HAVE NOT CHANGED AT ALL DESPITE YOUR NEW POWERS! YOUR JUST ANOTHER WORTHLESS PATHETIC FREAK!"
The other Alex continued to sob while shouting...
"But you USED to be me! I used to be you! I agree with mother, who you are now does not change who you used to be! Because of you, MY life has been ruined, MY affairs are now forever lost! Don't you care? Don't you have ANY feelings at all? Or are you really just a FREAK?"
~Strike one, keeper...~
Said a musing voice from everywhere and nowhere. -
((They're only getting started. It's all going to go downhill for Alex real fast if she doesn't fix this quickly.))
-
And suddenly the air around here seemed to calm again. The huge pressure vanished.
~Enough. I will not tolerate that in my tower. If you ever want to see the outside of this place again, BEHAVE. If you do not like what you are seeing, you should never have come here in the first place.~
And suddenly there was a chuckle.
The man in the tank top was chuckling.
"Hello brat. Daddy is back. I'm ashamed of you, Alex. You turned out to be another [censored] hero. Here's what I think of you." He spat on the floor. "How does it feel that I'm back? I promised you you'd be next, and now I'm going to keep my promise!"
And suddenly, there was a low moan...from the ghost.
"My daughter...I am glad to see you again, but you are so powerful now...Why didn't you save me from him when I was alive?? The suddenly her tone changed. "STUPID GIRL! YOU HORRID AND WORTHLESS BRAT! YOU COULD HAVE STOPPED HIM! YOU SAT THERE AND WATCHED AS HE TORTURED AND KILLED ME! YOU ARN'T HUMAN! YOU ARN'T NORMAL! YOUR A FREAK! DO YOU HEAR ME? A FREAK!"
Then the other Alex started to speak.
"They're both right, you know. As a hero, you've only made predicaments in the entirety of existance worse. And you COULD have saved mother. Why didn't I? WHY DIDN'T I? YOU shoved this fate onto me! You [censored]! I never wanted this, how could you do this to me? I didn't want to be a hero, I didn't want mother to die! It's all YOUR FAULT!"
The three figments glared at Alex. The man's eyes filled with lunacy, the ghost's with rage, and Alex's with tears.
-
The three figures completely ignored Krystell, as if she didn't exist.
They seemed to be waiting for something. They continued to stare blankly into space. -
((I got permission from Thunderbug to do this so don't bug out on me.))
Suddenly, three shadows emerged from each tunnel.
From the first tunnel came a man in a white tank-top T-shirt and jeans. In one hand, he carried a bloodstained knife. In the other, he carried a still smoking gun.
Out of the second tunnel came a women...Or rather, the ghost of a woman. She was dressed is flowing white robes, (the dress of the dead) but the most startling bit about her was that her head had been cut clean off. It was floating to the side of the actual body.
And out of the final tunnel came Alex. Not the CURRENT Alex, but rather the Alex Alex had used to be.
The three figures simply stood, or in the case of the ghostg, floated there, staring blankly into space. -
Strangely enough...
The pulses didn't pick anything up.
Matter of fact, the pulses didn't return at all. -
There was a slight pause as Alex wrapped her hand around the scroll.
The purple glow slowly faded away.
Nothing Else happened. The pedestal slowly sank into the ground, leaving the scroll in Alex's hand.
The door still remained firmly shut however.
Suddenly the remaining bars slid open from the final hallway leading into darkness. However, nothing came out of it.
But from all three tunnels there was a soft howling noise.
Like wind...
