  1. I've got a lvl 25 fire/thermal at the moment.
The good thing with this build is that you can specalize in either blasting or healing or have a balance of both.

You need to decide do you want to be first; a damage dealer, healer/buffer or a bit of both.I'm going for the bit of both approach (more by accident than by design) but it's the best AT if found in CoH and CoV.

If you want to be a blaster...
Pick most of teh powers from the Fire Blast pool.I'd not bother with Rain of Fire but other than that all of the powers are useful. (i have a lvl 50 fire blaster with that power set up) you can pick up warmth as it's nice to be able to heal yourself but the rest of the powers in the Thermal pool are all targeted buffs so are a little pointless.

If you want to be balanced...
i'd pick all of the Fire Blast pool Powers except for Fire Ball and Rain of Fire (AoE (while good for damage) tends to draw agro to you which is not good as a healer).
    and from the Thermal pool...
    Warm: a good AoE heal
Cauterize: also great for targeted healing.
Power of Pheonix: a really cool Ressurect power
Thaw: basically "Clear Mind" from the Defender empathy pool
Forge: i've not got it yet but i plan too, it looks very useful
oh. and be prepared to use a lot of end reduction enhancments as doing two jobs at once is tiring but very fun

    and for the Buff/healer
just pick all the Thermal powers... They seem to have a good balance, lots of heals, some shields and a few enemy deBuffs. leave out most of the Fire Blast pool.

Add to those builds Stamina and which ever travel power you want (SS is cool for Hasten IMO) Tho if you want to be a blaster Fly can be useful to stay out of melee range

Hope that was of some use

My build (roughly, i can't remember exactly what lvl's i got these powers at)
    lvl 1 (Fire Blast, Warmth)
    lvl 2 (Fire Ball)
    lvl 4 (Cauterize)
    lvl 6 (Hasten)
    lvl 8 (Fire Breath)
lvl 10 (Speed) from fitness pool
    lvl 12 (Aim)
    lvl 14 (Super Speed)
    lvl 16 (Rise Of Pheonix)
lvl 18 (Health) from fitness pool
lvl 20 (Stamina) from fitness pool
    lvl 22 (Thaw)
    lvl 24 (Blaze)

As for myself, I have never had a character without stamina, and cant see having one anytime soon.

hehe me too. i need all the end i can get to make sure my corruptor can keep healing/fighting.
  3. from my personal experience....
Flight is great, it helps keep you out of the way of the melee attacks of mobs (which are more damaging than ranged)
so you'll hopefully live a little longer. Also flight helps you navagate maps better/faster as you can fly over things rather than having to run around them.
the downside is that it's a slow travel power

SS is great, you get hasten as a first power from the pool. it's great to travel with as it's fast and you'll not draw agro with it on. But it's not as great at hit and run thanks to the slow down period after any attack you make. Also you have to run around things when traveling, which can take a while.

SJ, it's ok. it's got the benifits of flight and SS and the first power from the pool has a -knockdown attack, which can be helpful.
The problem is it doesn't have the -agro abilities like SS and flight so you will get attacked while traveling. Also you have to constantly hold and press the "jump" button when ever you want to travel which can get annoying

TP. Not had to much experience but until you slot it properly it's not that great, as it eats a lot of end and if the computer is lagging its probably not the best power to use.

so what would i suggest? well my blaster has both flight and SS. SS for travel, and flight for fighting. if you don't want to waste a power on getting all 4 (hasten, SS, hover and fly) don't get fly and instead put 3-4 flight speed enhancements on hover.

hope that was of some use
  4. I've got a fire/thermal corruptor... and i've got to say it's by far the best AT i've played yet.

As for tactics, i've found that with yellow and below con mobs i get to blast to my hearts content (really carrying the team in some cases with AoE scourge attacks ), then as soon as the orange and red cons start to slip in i suddenly become a healer. which is nice as it's 2 AT's in one.

the only thing is that i'm having to miss out most of the buffs/debuffs so that i can fit in enough offensive powers and secondary pools. Maybe when lvl 40-50 is introduced then i'll have some room for shields

    Deleting Bases?

Our SG created a simple base to test out if you needed to have CoV to access it. guess we should have checked the forums first but it's to late for that now
As a large percent of our SG doesn't have CoV and has no plan to get it either we are now stuck with a base that is completly pointless. So i was wondering... is there any way to completly delete a base? i've gone to the SG registra in atlas city hall but they have no delete options.

If we are not using it we have no intention to pay rent on it/ or take the time out to travel to atlas to pay the rent.

    any advise would be appreciated.

    thanks
