Current Status: We have 2 registered teams. I want to have at least 8 teams for this event. A minimum of 6 would work. With that said, I am setting a postponement deadline of 11 pm Pacific Thursday the 19th. If we do not have atleast 5 teams I will push it back a week to give time to get more teams. I say 5 because I believe we will have atleast 1 team of singles who band together on the spot to make a 6th.

What needs to be dealt with immediatly is making sure the Patch Notes are correct. There's no real reason for them to constantly have errors like this.

This event will be a Double Elimination 2v2 team PvP Tournament- ALL AT's are invited
- No limitations of team makeup
- Teams will register in this thread.
- Minimum of 8 teams needed to start the tournament
EVENT RULES
- This is a SHW Event. Levels 47-50 only.
- All matches will be 10 minutes in length.
- All matches are required to leave Diminishing Returns enabled. This means that the "No Diminishing Returns" option is not to be selected.
- All matches are required to have Travel Suppression disabled. This means that the "No Travel Suppression" option is to be selected.
- All matches are required to have Heal Decay disabled. This means that the “No Heal Decay” option will be selected.
- Teams may agree on the map of their choosing. If both parties can not agree on what map is to be used, then the map will be randomly selected by the arena system. No map resets will be permitted, except for the cage.
- One Reset is permitted for player disconnect within the first 90 seconds of a match. Any disconnects after the first 90 seconds (or a second disconnect) will result in the team having to play shorthanded.
- If a match ends in a tie before going to Sudden Death the teams will leave the match and pick 2 representatives from their team. These 2 will then fight a 2v2 10 minute match to determine the winner. The rules will be the same as the tournament.
- Spawn camping is not permitted. If spawn camping if observed the team in question will receive a warning. If the team persists in future rounds they will be disqualified.
- Only t1 inspirations and temp powers bought from the arena store are permitted. SoW's (Strength of Wills), present inspirations, and/or base buffs are not permitted. Any player is subject to random checks by the event host. Refusal to accept the trade or team requests by the event host will be grounds for immediate disqualification.
- Please be respectful to your fellow players by refraining from "trash talk".

I am pretty sure I did not have a rule not allowing sudden death during this tourney Its possible some are confused with my rules for my Team event next month

I apologize if that caused confusion and would be more then willing to offer prizes to those that did have a tie before sudden death tonight. Please get ahold of my on the forums or ingame.
Overall I hope everyone had fun today and tonight. At times it was a little hectic and I thank everyone that came out and supported the events
For the PvP Tourney we had a 3 way tie. The fights were awesome. Ablate
Feral Kat and Oh So Icy Sid were the final 3.

This will be fun. I can't wait.
If we have a large gap between the Hammi Raid and The Croatoa Badge event I am going to get together a MS raid. I will be having help all day and will announce these people as the events goes on. If we have time between other events we will ToT and hit some zone events.
For the last part of the event I plan on hitting Villains and Heroes for atleast 1 ZA, 1 DA and some ToTing. Overall the goal for the day is to have fun, get some prizes and relax.
Now for the confusing part. Daylight Savings time will hit at 2 am Sunday morning in the US. Now this mainly effects the East Coasters however it will be good for everyone. I have no end time for the event however I plan to go till at least 1 am Pacific (the first time ) If we still have a bunch of people ToTing and doing zone events I will go another hour to 1 am Pacific again
Thankyou to everyone who has supported this event and to everyone that comes out. We are going to have some fun tomorrow.

I believe the overall desired effect for the Justice United Channel is an option to the community. A catchall for those that are into everything. The idea isn't to say this channel is better then the rest or even give that impression. The idea isn't to throw a gauntlet at the JFA channels either. If that were the case I would not be involved at all. Below is how I feel about it and how I see it.
I am involved in many communities on the Justice Server. I like to run various events that encompass many different communities within COX. I PvP, I MA, I TF, I Hammi Raid, I broadcast on Justice Radio, Heck I even RP from time to time. I enjoy community events and I enjoy putting together fun events for the community. I am apart of all of this because I want to. JH, JFA, JFA2010, DietJFA were/are all channels that do have the community as a whole in mind.
JU (Justice United) Has a very similar idea but at the outset bringing in people from the various communities to promote those community's and try to add another option for everyone. The idea isn't competition but to compliment what we already have in our community. While currently CS and JFA have very similar goals they have a distinct and unique feel to them. I can say without a doubt that my best hopes for JU is to add to the wonderful community we have on Justice. -

Just for some added fun, if you have a temp costume wear them for the Hammi Raids. PPD Hardsuit if you got it for the Hero Raid and for the Villain Raid the Malta Gunslinger. If you don;t have the costumes thats fine this is just for fun.
