  1. ...with 40.88% AOE defense. Absolutely fantastic and fun to play. Note that I added the Hecatomb in for Midnight Grasp for kicks-I really couldn't find another melee set in there, and there's just a crushing impact in that I have for no particular reason. Has a great balance of tearing stuff up and survival.

    My biggest concerns were obviously raising defense, with a secondary goal of recharge.

    This guy is pretty fun for farming IMO, and is absolutely fun to play.

  2. You actually want to KEEP touch of fear because you can put in Siphon Insight which puts in some FANTASTIC bonuses for defense.

    Shadow Punch from what I've heard actually lowers your DPS so definitely drop that.

    I'll post more as I get on it, I love my dm/shields and he's my first toon I'm seriously crunching numbers for to get soft capped. So far I have melee and ranged softcapped with aoe at 39%, I'll post my build later once I get a few more kinks worked out.
  3. PLing existed way before I14 even did, as Cavatina said. All AE did was make it accessible to everyone.

    Frankly, I hate to say it, but after you gain a certain number of 50s, this game just really gets to be nothing more than a level grind. And at that point you start to play different powers, not necessarily for the leveling up experience, but just to get to see different abilities that are different from what you previously rolled. When you start rolling your 8th alt, it gets *annoying* to go through 1-20 again, especially if you're like me and are a fan of brutes.

    Seriously?

    I think the devs will make the right choice, especially because in this economy, doing something as drastic as locking toons and deleting accounts will mean unsubscriptions, and turning this game into Age of Conan. Dead.

    But I think some response just to stop the insanity of people freaking out should be made soon, despite the common sense of knowing that certain changes were going to be made to the AE ANYWAYS.
