  1. Sorry, this is my first SoA. I had heard we're supposed to get our second slot at level 10. However, my SoA contact in Fort Darwin isn't giving me any missions or sending me to the tailor, and I don't know how else I would get my second slot. Any help?

They'll unlock for you the next time you train someone past 20.

    Oh and Welcome Back!
Thanks! And this is right. I logged into a 32 Defender and realized he was actually still 29, so I trained him to 32 and viola! Thanks again!

    Level 20?

So I just noticed today (just came back yesterday) that they lowered to requirement to level 20. Being a casual player with alteritis, I was estatic. So I go to create one and it's still grayed out. So I tried logging onto my level 20 Blaster (hero side), and I still can't make a PB or a Warshade. Am I doing something wrong?
  4. Heh, this is an awesome idea.

    Good job, guys!

Quoth Castle: "choose the look of their weapon in the AWESOME COSTUME CREATOR." (Emphasis mine)

Every Cryptic Dev, Designer, Manager, and Executive needs to repeat that line to themselves 20 times when they first come in each morning, before they leave, and during every bathroom or coffee break.

    Then, answer these questions:

What makes the COSTUME CREATOR so AWESOME anyway?

If I work on the COSTUME CREATOR, what can I do to keep it AWESOME or make it MORE AWESOME?

If I work on another system, what can I do to make it as AWESOME as the COSTUME CREATOR?

If I make decisions about the game, how do I make sure that the COSTUME CREATOR stays AWESOME in the long term?

If I make decisions about the game, how do I plan to bring the rest of the game up to the COSTUME CREATOR's level of AWESOME?

If I promote the game, how can I best showcase the AWESOMEness of the COSTUME CREATOR?

If I promote the game, how can I use the COSTUME CREATOR to best accent the AWESOMEness of the rest of the game?

The AWESOME COSTUME CREATOR is your pony. You guys need to feed it, brush it, clean its hooves, and read it bedtime stories EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I actually agree with this statement, while they should focus on other things as well (game content) the devs need to keep in mind that the biggest thing that makes this game unique to other MMOs is the character customization, and try to play that up a bit come issue release time.

Agreed. The costume creator and Endurance system is what stops me from going back to World of Warcraft (everytime my spell uses up 1000 mana, God kills a kitten =\).
  6. This was a very good guide. I play an Emp/Psy Supporter, and this is a very dead-on guide. Good job!
  7. I do have one problem, though. At the moment, my Genin started with Super Leap, I'm level 10 at the moment. So I don't know what's up with that, or if they just jump higher than normal and that's given the Super Leap icon.
  8. Very informative, nice effort! Good job, Silver.
  9. Yeah, I found this out the frustratingly hard way. I wanted a pure black trenchcoat, so one with a powder-blue interior is a lot less threatening.

nice guide. very similar to my build. and I really really agree with the approach of "you donnt do damage yourself".
In fact I never got even gloom, my only attack is brawl.
Sucks when your henchmen are dead, but I don't think you would be better off with a few attacks either. Retreat and regroup!

I didn;t think about slotting Shadow fall with damage resistance, I'll have to try that. Yes those zombies do burn quite well I'm afraid.

The biggest drawback of the build is endurance. If you don't like worrying about your blue bar, this is not a build for you.

I have to agree say that I'd probably substitute Leadership for Fitness, as I think Stamina is pretty well needed in a chracter that constantly uses summons and debuffs, especially toggle debuffs like Darkest Night. Otherwise, this is an excellent build that is extremely detailed, and it's something I'll be using for my next character.
