Found the island (great place!) and hung around for a while between eight and nine tonight, but all on my lonesome (apart from a couple of bewildered passers-by!). I shall be popping back tomorrow, though, if anyone else fancies joining me!

Sooo... Has anything been decided on a big meet-up for RPers? I'd quite like to dangle my wicked toes in the waters of CoV roleplaying, having done a fair bit IRL. But I've really no idea where to start.

I've had a paddle through the CoH Union RP threads on these forums, and it looks great - but fairly well developed. It'd be nice to get into something in the early days, just so I have a hope in heck of keeping up with the plotlines!

I think I've been spoilt. The only MMO, before this, that I've given a lot of time to was World of Warcraft, and I found levelling quite smooth and simple. I always knew, though, from the other MMO forums, that this was quite a rare experience in such games!

I tried CoH just before getting into WoW, and was a bit lost for stuff to do - at least when soloing. CoV seems to have loads more missions, and I love the newspaper system, but even so... Gimme more XP, dammit!

Only 12, just nudging 13.

This is my first time I've played through CoH or CoV this far - does levelling always turn into a crawl past 11?!

I seemed to be whizzing along, now it's practically stalled!

I just want to fly, dammit!

A new, fun-minded, social SG on Union. No grand plans - just keep it flexible and have a laugh. Some PVP and raiding, when peeps are at a suitable level; some light team RP; lots of chat and helping. No need to be a powergamer (I'm hardly hardcore myself!), but grown-up social skills preferred.
