    Gravity (Again)

I've got a grav/kinetics controller. With siphon speed, hasten, and some IO sets providing a global recharge speed boost the AoE hold is usually available when I need it. One caveat, this is the character I run with my wife's dark/dark scrapper so that may skew my ideas of adequate control.

    Comet Queen's Gallery

Through the wonders of technology Comet Queen fights evil in Paragon City with an array of powers ranging in temperature from Solar Inferno (aka extra crispy) to Absolute Zero (popisicle power). Comet Queen is a fire and cold blaster who created her battle suit from a strange metal that came from a comet's core. She can be reached on the Victory Hot Line at Nova Legion HQ. She's also available for consultation on extreme temperature materials selection and qualification. Her most recent project is an entry into the world of hi-tech modelling.
  3. Hopefully these changes will make a balanced team, including all the archetypes, the most efficient way to get experience because each archetype contributes someway to the group in a noticeable manner. In general, at the low end of the game, I have found groups to be a lot more entertaining than soloing. But it has also been nice to be able to create an alternate character and solo to get a feel for how the different power sets and archetypes work.
  4. Champions is the system to use for superheroes and Pulp adventures of most other settings. The folks that put out 5th edition are producing very good quality settings, modules, etc. www.herogames.com - While initial character design can be intimidating, the combat can be scaled to the complexity that you want by either adding or ignoring optional rules. The character designer software is very very good at keeping you to the rules and being quick and easy to use. I've been playing some version of hero system off and on since 1984.
