I still think Peregrine Island needs a Maria Dock. (5 geek points to whoever gets that one.)

Maria was Horatio Hornblower's first wife.

    Top Cow and CoH

Mark Waid wrote the absolutely perfect 'Return of Barry Allen' storyline for the Flash, back in the early 90s. He is forever guaranteed all the slack I can cut him.

I did dig Apex, Horus, and War Witch. That said, we don't get to play with Statesman and the BAB... If I had to choose between the 2 comics, the Blue King book would get left behind everytime, no matter who was writing the book that features Paragon's Heavy Hitters.

I think most of the people getting the comic in their mailbox everymonth, to say nothing of the folks in comic shops who might pick up the book, are going to be much more engaged by a book about States and the Gang than by 3 nobodys who share a city with them.

Not that I have anything against a guy with a super skateboard and a chick who's power was being related to the Sub-Mariner, but there was a reason no one read The New Warriors.

    One of my personal faves:

Roland- Named Malta boss. Gunslinger. For those of you literary-deprived souls out there, Roland is the main character in Stephen King's opus work The Dark Tower

Whoa, there, Chief. Those unfamiliar with the work of stephen king can be referred to accurately as deprived of contact with literature?

Personally, I can assure you that my lack of contact with King is due to my deliberate and careful immersion in the work of writers who are not King.

He has enough readers, he doesn't need me.
