Right! I freeded up a few slots, and crafted an alter-version of Arthur Penningworth-Smythe as Luna Flare for if it is decided to all have fire-based powers. Still got the archery, but fire control instead of ice

Hmmm, well, I suppose I could modify Moonfrost into a fire-based character, or even redo as a defender. I'm ok with anything, and it will be a learning curve for me with the whole defenderising...

Bit I digress. Bio!

Arthur Penningworth-Smythe was an old, frail man . He spent most of his time at the Paragon city hospital, wired up to life support machines. He had been offered the use of the bioregenerators, but turned it down every time. He had been there when the Rikti invasion happened, and he still didn't trust anything based on their technology.

The day that changed him started out like any other for him. Pain, difficulty with breathing, and lapsing in and out of conciousness. But then, Hyperion Star was braught into the hospital, and that's when everything happened.

Arthur doesn't remember much, but he does remember pulling himself out of the rubble, and, more supprisingly, no pain. It was as if his entire body was in a permanent state of suspended animation, yet he could still move, still think, and could feel an ambundance of energy deep within him. It reminded him of his youth.

Making his way back to his old home, he retrieved what remained of his old costume, when he had called himself the Midnight Archer. However, it wasn't until he found he could lower temperatures around himself for breif periods of time that he would have a new name

*looks at his watch* Hmmm. 8:45 in Outbreak, and only Johnny Ember and Arthur Penningworth-Smythe have appeared. Is it still on tonight, or are we waiting until next week? I'm confoozed @.@

Well, I've done a character before who used civvies and had a regular name. I did so because, in my mind, she didn't consider herself particularly "superheroic". She's called Lady Isabella, and is a tech tanker (i think. I don't use her much). Of course, you could look at The Authority. One of the main characters is called Apollo. That, as far as we know, is his real name. Same went for Jenny Sparks/ Jenny Quantum.

As for my character, I've made him an archery/ice blaster. I thaught about being a Defender, but I just can't play them right...

Hmmm. Well, how about this?

The various heroes, still new to their heroic lifestyles, are gathered together to mourn the loss of a hero (named or un-named), who was the one who ranted them their powers. Each one has know the others in one way or another as "being there when it happened", but were unaware of their new assumed identaties. When a new case of Outbreak occurs, these same people don their costumes and form together to stop it

I know it's not much, but my brain is kinda fried from over-use. Although I have managed to use the last bit of brain-juice to throw together Moonfrost - my hero

Ok, so science it is. I have a character in mind that I can easilly write a bit of background for using Coile's Science story suggestion

So, with Wednesday fast approaching, are we all decided on a common origin and start time?

hmmmm. Science would be a good one, with Magic and Technology joint second, me thinks

As for ideas, well, how about this: I like the idea of a hand-picked team, but what about, say new heroes who, prior to optaining powers, were on the recieveing end of various organisations "shakedown runs". That way, you could have each character with a background knowledge of one or two groups. Then, say, City Hall heard about the newcommers, and pulled them all together to take the fight back out there.

That's a thaught, anyway...

Hey, yeah! I'd join up with this! I mean, I'm available most days from about 7pm, so 8 is good. And I got slots left on Union. Just let us know what the basic background is, and I'll go from there

Just last night I decided to do a quick pic of my character, Crozius, and his often-times evil-whackin' partner, Atllas. It's a black and white lineart, I suck at feet, and At's face has very little detail on it. Other than that, enjoy! =^.^=

Thanks for the support, Afterdark! Just so we've got a complete breakdown of what everyone can do, here's what (if I'm right) Croz and Atllas can do

Crozius - mind control/ weather control
Atllas - super strength/ invulnerability

There's a possability that a couple of other guys from our coallition groups will be joining in, but i'll have to chase them up on it...
