Quick update, after a few days of zero access and crashes. Last night's update seems to have fixed the issues.

Quite annoyed that the Mac launcher will not launch. It's currently stuck in an update loop. Downloading and patching the launcher...over and over...

I appreciate that Freedom launches tomorrow (it's 22:19 here in London), but I am actually paying for access to the game.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but having read some of the Mac threads here, it seems once again we are the poor cousins.

I ask that the client be fixed before launch, or if not, I fully and reasonably expect a full refund for not being able to access a service I pay for.

so, any suggestions as to what I can do to play either now or after Freedom launches?

Hey guys,

Any idea why I can't log-in today, constantly tells me to check my firewall or server down time.

Firewall hasn't changed and servers say UP.

Mac Snow Leopard edition.

Any ideas?

Paragon Supreme and Akrasia: First SG invite from 2 people that made the game so much fun for me, even though I'd been playing about a year when we met.

Mjolnir: Laser, buddy, I'm not sure what I learned from you but it sure was fun finding out.

Smoke Signal and ElectraFlame: My New &amp; Improved SG Leaders. What can I say that you guys don't already know about these 2 ? The finest pair I ever met in all the games I've played. Funny, Smart, Wise and rock solid. Just wish I could beat Smoke at PvP...just once.

Royal Guard: Man, could this guy tank or what ? We used to run the Sewer trial back in the day, well farm for the Krakens, and RG would help us get all of them in under 9 mins. One hell of a guy. I miss you Royal.

Electronaut: Every Hero has a sidekick. Buddy - come back.

DrZeus: We've never teamed. But I learnt that no matter how mental you are, a funny post is never far away.

The Crimson Sun: I love you guys.

Tragic Muse &amp; Wild Isis: Met these guys a few days ago. Great great fun, the game seems almost incidental to the fun.

My question may be a little deep and have several layers the average forum user may miss, but here goes.

Q: What *exactly* is up with your hair dude ? It's all red and plasticy looking with those mean grooves / section thingies....was your hair in an accident with toxic waste ?

I be Scarlet Pirate, the Cap'n of the Paragon Pirates, a new SG formed on Justice.

We be a small but growing crew of Pirates, Miscreants and Brigands. We be happy to include you in the crew even if ye dont want to RP, our crew RP mostly (the slang and attitude) but yer normal play style be acceptable Lad (and Lasses).

Thar be some rules ye must follow before a position on the crew be awarded.

Rule 1: Ye must have a Pirate (or brigand/naval) themed suit, but ye only needs to wear it on SG duty. Gold (inf) for a suit can be supplied if yer a bit down on yer luck....

Rule 2: Yer name MUST be acceptable amounst the pirate crew, no FututreZapBoy names will do, yer scalywag.

Rule 3: Pirate slang MUST be used in all external chat, garrr ! (we do allow 'normal' speak in SG and team modes, but who doesn't like to say things like Arrrr! and Savvy every few words ?)

Rule 4: Any skulduggary will result in a long walk off a short Plank.

That be it Lad, the Paragon Pirates be a collection of themed Heroes dedicated to brining a justice to Paragon, with an eyepatch and a bandana.
