ok ive played ma quite a bit, and i have loved all of it, and i can tell you i have been here since 2005 and before that in the US, so i have the passport badge, and if i get one toon banned i will not look back i will be gone no question

Yeah - it was pretty carefully worded - there were no definites, just possibilities - "you might" instead of "you will".
Maybe Positron knows that only a Sith deals in absolutes?

They're talking about removing access from an avatar, not deleting it - which sounds like they may lock the avatar for a period of time - like the number of weeks it would take to get to 50 the normal way.

I think there'll be enough PLed 50s suspended to generate a reaction that'll filter through to the whole player base - they won't need to keep doing it, as once they've been shown to carry out the threat, then PLers won't take the risk, I think.

I can see them slapping a player with a warning, THEN slapping them with bans, alt locking and other punishments, but straight out punishing people for their mistakes is rather harsch, and the amoung of hard slaps would be so general, uncontrolled and immense or totally useless aimed at a very small amount thereby not actually doing anything about the situation.
