I like the way we have to help out both Paragon City and the Rogue Isles - that's one of my favorite parts of the RWZ arcs, the way we go to locations on both sides to help fight off the invaders.

I've just had a quick look through these, and the auras really are pretty spectacular - the head + fists combination actually looks more impressive than the full body one for some of them.
EDIT: Things like the Tarot Cards only going around the head, or the Thunderhead one for the full body plus the eyes also look awesome. -

Doesn't the Reichsman TF red side use some captions somewhere in it?

Those both sound awesome

EDIT: The comic-style captions giving info on-screen sound really interesting. -
I don't recognize all of those, but they all look totally cute

There's another thread in General Discussion that uses more names.

I'd be totally ok with paying for Issues.

Quote:But that's what I meant - we'd continue playing our subs and the game would be exactly the same, and the people who wanted to play for free would have an expereince similar to an extended trial account - and because there's so much content here, they'd be tempted to sub to access all of it.G_G I think you are assuming that you would automatically get everything that has already been added to the game if it went F2P. That may not be the case.
In that hairy footed fantasy game free players have to buy that extra content. The same goes for that competing hero game. They changed "free issues" to "Adventure Packs" and will be charging for them.
The same decisions could be implemented here. All the content that was added in our free issues and paid expansions could be categorized as "Adventure Packs" and free players would have to buy them. Same goes for features like the Arena, the AE, the Market, IO's/Crafting, Bases, PvP. Just imagine having to pay real money for inspirations, because they do that those F2P games with their versions of inspirations.
Those other F2P games even sell individual costume pieces, and they sell them per character not per account.
The best we can hope for is that if they made the switch that they'd grandfather in everything previously existing accounts aquired.
Ther's a similar sort of thing going on already with the Incarnate endgame system - you have to pay extra to use it. -

I can offer transatlantic teaming

I like some mystery - and Praetoria is a great example of a detailed story that still leaves lots of unanswered questions for people to specualte on.

I think Free-to-Play would work well with CoH - there's so much content here that's built over the past 6 years, plus there's a whole new endgame system about to be added.
But for a game that's, say, just only one year old with limited content and only one leveling path, I'm not sure how that'd work. -
Quote:I haven't either - I don't think his mind is that sophisticated to be able to read thoughts - and it'd probably be better for him if he didn't know all my thoughts about him anywaySee... i've never even had Maelstrom try to get into my mind.

So I should stop sending them links to the WoW forum?Quote:Besides, i'm not sure frightening them away by showing them an endless, yawning abyss that devours all rational thought really counts as "blocking" them. -
20th Century Fox totally underestimated the merchandising potential - they agreed to Lucas' suggestion that they could have a bigger share of the box office in exchange for him having a reduced director's fee and total control of the merchandising rights, because pre-Star Wars, merchandising for movies was mostly a few T-shirts and lunchboxes and maybe a novelisation - they had no idea of the things he'd dreamed up to sell in connection with his new movie
