  1. Here, Here. There is and will never be another game such as City Of Heroes/City Of Villians and the GR coming up.

Just a quick note. It was the first game (MMO) to win best Multiplayer at the E3 awards where most awards for that are usually online first person shooters. (Since then the upcoming "Kinghts Of The Old Republic" Star Wars game has followed up. Ironically another game I understand that includes no inventory as far as RPGs go).

It was a fluke and a darn good one as far as the gaming industry goes.

My personal feeling is that the game went "alittle off" when they included the Mission Architect and created Paragon. But after a while I had to agree with the others that it did not ruin the game but left another outlet for things you can do.

I do not know yet but for some reason I get the feeling that Cryptics 3rd large game, STO will still not be as good as COH.

Personal note: I see no reason why this game could not include PVP or missions in space.

    Nice post!
  2. Ok sure. Then why is the American flag hanging over the capital building in Atlas Park!

Do they do that for each country?

Having played Lineage II there are different divisions of PlayNC. Although the game is generally based on a standard, there are different versions of each for different locations. There is even a cafe version of L2 released for the cyber clubs in Korea.

I am sure the same thing pertains to COH/COV including Korean, Europe, South America and so forth. I am also sure there is much communication of what would be enjoyable for each area.
  3. Well believe it or not I finally finished the Faultline storyline. At least up to Agent G. I have been with the game since the beginning and I have alot of characters but for some reason I never did the entire storyline before after the redo.

    Sorry for the spoliers!

The story between Jim Tembler and William Tembler (Faultline) included a base mission where you had to find the recording, again! That is for the 2nd time. The one that shows PSiCurse taking control of Faultline and using the Earthquake machine.

The developers did a really good job putting it together. And I loved the base being off-tilt so as the floors lean right or left. (Reminded me of the old Batman episodes when they showed the villians scheming, the screen was always tilted).

The final result of the mish is the Ouroboros "Entrusted With The Secrets".

Its funny as I said. I have alot of characters and I do not remember ever doing this before or the base. My other toons have the Ouroboros portal but I didn't know you also could get it here.

I didn't do the outside area where you leave on the other side through the door in the mission before. The sky raiders and Archnos are currently two levels above me and I couldn't find a group. They are also bunched together in about groups of six to eight.

Anyways I had to make a post. Very well done Paragon.

Funny it has me as a recruit. Must be since they redid the website. C'est La Vie.
  4. I wanted the thank the City Of Heroes/City Of Villians people for making the game look so good. I have noticed a significant change over this past weekend.

I do not know if it is because of the competition Champions Online, the launch of Aion, or just getting ready for Going Rogue, but I noticed the difference.

The graphics look damn good on my machine. The best yet.

    Thanks again whatever you did.

  5. Nice job baby. Glad to see you are still playing.
  6. I like this very much but figuring that I only filled up half the servers with characters, I don't feel any need to purchase or even use extra slots for my account at this time.

Needless to say it is a good idea and I hope does not effect the game play in any way. (via lag, bugs, server crashes, etc.)

Guild Wars already has purchasable slots (Be nice if L2 did.), and it adds to the feel of the game giving it a professionally done atmosphere for an online game. Well worth the money. (Well, $9.99 pay per month I think is more reasonable.) O.o

But in terms of making COH/COV a life long hobbie. Woot! More stuff involved the better. Here-Here!

I have been with this game since April 2004 and plan to continue further play.

Lets hope the idea doesn't gum up the works eh?

Still pushing for another expansion to COH/COV, so had to mention. Sorry. COH/COV/??

NCSoft's reputation with online gaming stands alone. Congratulations guys on your fourth year with City Of Heroes!
  7. I never get in debt. Other players get me in debt. Still would like to hear something about the next installment of City Of Heroes per the acquisition.

The news announcement has my curiousity up now. Only thing is my wallet isn't quite ready for a new pc. So I may be out. Could just barely handle Tabula Rasa.

Another add-on to what they have out. I can afford another collectors edition for City Of Heroes/City of Villians/and ???. And I can be sure it will run.

Food prices are starting to sky-rocket. Hmmmmm. People gonna notice them charts and their fun stuff being cut back. So will maybe NCSoft.
  8. You never see too much of them besides Talos. I never have anyways.

And they so closely resemble the other gangs in the game, I never give them a second thought when I run into them in missions.

Nice to see even a page on them. Didn't know about their Greek background.

  9. The powers are fine. Being that my tank in COH/COV was the first online tank I ever played, I had to post how good they are made. My commendations!
