I'm trying to set an escort so that I can lead him to an object instead of the mission exit but it won't let me. Am I doing it wrong or is it broken?

That may be what is advertised, but have you actually verified that you have access to that bandwidth? Many ISP's nowadays (if not most) employ packet shaping in an effort to control server loads at peak times, or as in some cases I've run into over the years, just because they can. Not saying its always the cause, but its another thing to consider when you're mapserving or lagging. It's not always just either you or the game. Oftentimes there are issues between you and the game.
As for the rest of your stats, you're pretty much in the same boat as I am for the most part, although you do have a somewhat better graphics card (radeon 5750 here). Yet aside from lag valley on the ITF and the odd mapserver (usually due to me downloading torrents or otherwise eating up network resources), I don't seem to have as big a problem as you apparently do. And at any rate, network instability, connection issues and such are par for the course when you play an MMO. -

Again, simply because behavior of a network client app is reproducible across multiple hardware and software platforms and network configurations doesn't mean the problem is the server.
I do this (network architecturing, implementation, and oversight) for a living. Please at least believe I MIGHT know what I'm talking about.

I realize that this isn't the hottest system there is but it should be more than enough. Btw, I do pull the Gen's out of the valley of lag in the ITF. I do use /unloadgfx and /sync whenever I start to lag. I realize that from time to time my cable company has issues but for the most part it is very reliable. -

What do you guys think is the main thing that annoys people and should be immediately addressed? My pet peeve is stability. I'm tired of crashing every time I run the RSF and try to enter the final mission for the first time of that run. I'm tired of mapserving. I'm tired of lag (the valley in the ITF comes to mind). I run on a high-end computer that I keep upgrading thinking that if I have a faster computer the game will run faster and all of these things will either go away or be greatly diminished. That hasn't been my experience. I don't run in ultra mode because I think it would only exacerbate the situation. I know that this a problem on the server side because it always seems to happen under the same circumstances. I hope that this issue will be addressed soon.

yeah it was real hard back then wasnt it and dont tell me you didnt do it cause everyone did it!! regardless of the xp curve which was in the 30s and thats cause they nerfed the abandoned sewer trial so now it wasnt worth going to. -
Don't forget that alot of that revenue went to other MMO's that aren't doing so hot (i.e. Champions Online). I have a feeling that quite a few of those people will be back once GR comes out. I know I just re-upped for another full year. Naysayers beware things will turn around. Now if they could only do something about this stability issue...

Shortly after I logged in I got the servers are shutting down in 5 mins. msg. I tried to hurry up and finish my mish. I was killing the last guy when I got booted. Not sure if I have a completed mish or I have to do it over again. Oh well...

I think I should clarify my question. As I said I'm only an intermediate builder. I'm having trouble understanding some of the specs on the case and what to look for. As you will see from the video, the rear fan that will be going into my system is a 120mm fan. I need to know if the case I decide to buy will accept a fan that large. I also need to know that my GTX 260 which is a large gpu will fit (it barely fits in my current case). I think those are the biggest questions. I don't need a case that will just look cool either. I only want it to be functional. I'm not looking for one with some space age design and glowing lights all over it. I will most likely disable any lights that do come with it. -
I just bought a Corsair H50 liquid cooling system. When I got it home I discovered that the fan which is included is too large for my case. Rather than modify the case or use a smaller fan I've decided to get a case that it will work in but I'm only an intermediate builder. I want to make sure that I'm buying what I need before I actually make the purchase. I found this case at Newegg.com: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147023 It's a great deal but I'm not sure that it will solve my problem. Here's the specs on my rig:

Thank you devs for responding to our complaints about the lag and spreading the event out more for the 2nd day. I was able to get every badge possible from the event (I think) on my main. I played on freedom last night and the lag was nowhere near as bad as virtue the previous night. Also, the multiple spawns of AV heroes made it much easier to get the badges than spending half an hour looking for 1 mob of them like I did on Monday. I loved killing Statesee 3 or 4 times in a row over and over again. Thanks for the fun.

I'm not going to be able to play for the next 5 days. I wanted to make my DS and do a few transfers before work (maybe even an ITF). It's been over 4 hours let us in. Pretty please.
