I am not surprised at this at all. have tried before with Pyrechill in a freindly one on one and came a lot closer than I expected to. this was without jack (below lvl 32) and some of the other powers mentioned because I am a two-respec-using power selecting fool - BUT it was a friendly set up and hardly a realistic pvp moment.. so good on this guy and nice to see another Ice/Fire Dom - I was beginning to wonder if i was the only one in the world! There used to be a 'Ragepaw' on defiant who was ice/fire too but he seems to have vanished

Mine has: 1 acc 3 dam 1 hold. if he behaves himself he might get another slot

hate to be cheeky but If its going ahead tonight and you have a space could I bring my dom along? 37 Ice/ Fire i should be about most of this eve as Pyrechill or will check board no worries if not!

If we're talking pvp here I have found AA very useful against stalkers: -stealth means I usually spot them in plenty of time for some dominating
because i am Ice/fire i have no CE experience but I imagine the two would work well together in that situation.

I would swap one of the recharges on Block of Ice for a Hold
and AA could lose a slot or two to Jack frost for some extra damage - but then again i rely on him quite a bit!

never really got on with the aoe immobilises/sleeps like frostbite etc and i find no need for hasten when in a team so i'd drop them for more damaging things/pool powers.

cant say much about your attacks though cos my Dom is Ice/ Fire

Maybe i am just being too nice to him. must be more ruthless and make him earn his existence!

Is Jack frost the most unpredictable pet in the world? mine seems to have mood swings...for example

1. Stand waaaay back and hurl ice
2. Get in melee range, hold bad guy, stand and admire him
3. as above but hit him with ice sword every 5 mins
4. as above but hit him with ice sword repeatedly

and my personal favourite -

5. Go absolutely beserk and murder everything in sight

Can anybody offer some tips on how to coax him into 4 and five a bit more often? i am tempted to go for tp friend just to put him where i want more often but that may not help..
