With everyone more or less distracted, even from her, Grav dropped her shield so she could affect the world around her more directly.

Manipulating magic and gravity, she send debry from one of the mechmen flying towards the Archon (Propel: high dmg, knockback, bypassing summon time, so fast aswell ).

Muttering a spell, she disapeared in a small flash of light, appearing at the portal a blink of an eye later.

Ah, sounds like Saphire's up now.
Well, ofcourse the rocket would glance off the bubble and blow a chunk out of the wall or something,
but Saphire doesn't know that (Just making sure that Weasel does )

I believe I've stated enough about Grav's intended next moves that you can extrapolate what she'll do, so feel free

That I get... I just don't see yet what you gus have in mind, sounds like it's more than your characters being affected, more like the entire world for where they interact with your characters in a way that will no longer be possible.

So how will that change the rest of the world?
A nagging sensation that you've forgotten something?
Completely oblivious as to why I did that speculation on Drake Enterprises stocks at that time?

As I said, I'm sure it will all become perfectly clear when the story is up. (I'm assuming there will be a story?)

Eric (Tower of Power whom I admit I rarely play) was kind of hoping for an invitation to the large reception, and has made some stock speculations as a result of the wedding.
It's easy for me to make it never happen, but... maybe it'll become clear what you guys are up to when the story is post.

Saphire is now encased in 5 bubbles... nice!

And I do believe that a Zues is a Malta Titan, or rather 2 combined Hercs. They've sold some to the Arachnos in Warburg, so that's not a problem, but perhaps you ment a Mark II mechman?

Grav waited for the opportune moment, waiting for Saphire to make her way further. Watching the movements of the council.

Then at the right moment (she hoped) she revealed herself.
She had moved to the left side of th Zues, as it was slowly turning right, and cast a Gravity Distortion Field (mass hold)in the largest consentration of troops, followed almost immidiatly by a Personal Protection Shield (V.high def vs all, some res vs most) making a easy to see, but hard to hit target for the troops not held.

Waiting to time her teleportation to the portal, she provided Saphire with a distraction. Moving to try and stay at the back of the zues.
In order to maintain the illusion that she was in real danger she made some hand motions, as if casting spells, but they could not penetrate her own shield.

Just a little longer...

Grav turned and went back to Saphire.
While still invisible, she spoke softly:

"There's a small army of mechmen between us and a closing portal, we need to get to that portal, fast."

Grav cast Grant Invisiblity on Saphire.

"You go first, I'll be right behind you, ready to distract them and then I'll teleport to the portal aswell, so don't stop."

After encasing Saphire in both a Deflection Shield (+def s/l) and an Insulation Shield (+def all else ), Grav turned Invisible to scout ahead, suspicious of the voices she heard.

Grav stopped her manipulation of gravity: she had a better idea.
Maintaining her shield around her and Saphire, she summoned up a singularity, right next to the wall opposite of Saphire. But a singularity without it's ussual restraints.

Using her shield as a focus, she did her best to shield her, Saphire and part of the cell's structure from the extreem gravity the micro-blackhole was generating.

Ah, well... since Weasel allready stated actions for the PCs... in a manner that suggest to me that it's an ongoing thing, rather than a desicion time... I was waiting for the weasel to make up his mind for the next post

Well, it's not really useful then, is it? I mean... what's the point, if you can rez at the hospital, get full HP/END, and end up as close or closer to the mission in which you died.

That would depend on the location of the portal, the hospital and the mission door, now wouldn't it?

that said, I do believe that a lot about the bases is still bugged. Being send to the South statue in PI sounds like a bug, because the portal is up there near Portal Corp.
I've only used the base hospital twice (because it got replaced by teleporters), on the same mission, and it dropped me in the same location as the teleporter does.
