The robot is indeed quite impressive. It's truly amazing what the new base construction system can do... I'm really excited to see what bases will be getting down the pike (more so with all the recent visible red name presence).

You may have seen me pop up every once in a while, though I'm still relatively new to this section of the forums. As such, I thought I'd ask the advice of other fan art vets.

I'm interested in taking commissions, but have no real idea how to go about pricing my work, nor how to best advertise that I am in fact "open for business."

The first is a much bigger issue for me personally, as I've never had a good idea what my work is actually worth. I always think I overcharge people, and as such likely undervalue my work.

I enjoy creating photo-manipulations when there's an appropriate pose for a given piece, but I think the next Dev piece I do will be from "scratch"

I have no idea HOW I saw red and yellow as opposed to orange and yellow... perhaps the in-game screenshot I took was at an odd time of day, so the light deepened the shade of orange to a brick red... Yeah... that's what happened >.>

Haha... it's cool. I have a similar issue with my Shinigami costumes... even though black and white is typically quite boring, I stop seeing a Shinigami costume the moment I break away from that color scheme.

Ah, alrighty. That makes sense. I've just not been around that art forum very long, so I'm just looking for a way to "get my foot in the door" as it were. G'luck with the piece.

So, I'm new to the fan art forums, bear with me if I'm being obtuse...

You are looking for an artist, as well as villains to be in the piece itself? If that's the case, I'd be interested in doing the actual piece. Price would depend on the medium, as well as the complexity of the piece. I can basically pull off any style you are looking for, so I'd be happy to adapt to what you want.

You can check out my portfolio site, as well as my deviantart page here and here. I could create the entire piece in 3D, but that would jack up the price and time required considerably.

Obviously, since I'm a new comer here and on deviantart, I don't have a lot of pieces to reference. I would be willing to do a quick mock up of the main character with any guidelines you wanted.

Oh, yellow and red can go fine together, Iron Man looks AWESOME... but the in-game colors Sunstorm wears are straight-out-of-the-tube*, which I rarely like using. This piece was a bit of a stretch from my comfort zone, but I think I like the result.

*For example: One of the things I HATE about Smallville (aside from the anemic plot lines and overproduced characters) is that Clark is ALWAYS wearing the SAME primary color shirt and jacket. We get it already, he's Superman... tone it down some!

Thanks. The biggest challenge for me was actually using the red and yellow combination, as I would NEVER choose to combine colors like that myself. I just loved the fact we got a red name for bases, so I had to make something.

Because Oroborous doesn't offer all potential missed content for play? Because the wonky set up of the system does not loan itself well to ease of play like normally accessed content does?

True, Oro doesn't give everything, but takes a large chunk out of that issue. The ability to exemp helps a lot too. I know there's no all-encompassing way to repeat 100% or missed content, I'm just not seeing how increased xp rewards is REALLY worthy of complaints. Maybe that's just me, but it seems like a silly complaint.

Nice. Pain domination seems to have the right kind of look. The elemental flame shield shown looks different than the one I saw in the character creator the last time. Smaller, more translucent and less solid looking. I'm thinking it's a different shield (or, lets hope a shileld with the "translucent flame" skin added.

It is much more in line with the fire swords, and I prefer the version we just saw by leaps and bounds. The "magma" shield is a unique look, but t one I wouldn't have actually used. I'm hoping both are versions we'll have, as I'm sure there are those that think the exact opposite.
