I haven't played a blaster since i9, and barely IOd that one at all, but I've got a rad blaster up to early 40s now, and want to get my build hammered out. I built to the HP cap (with Accos), with some nice +rech, +dam and +acc. Some very light ranged defense.
Curious what you guys think, or have any general advice on anything you think I missed (which, more than likely, is a lot).

And yes, money is no problem. -
Badges now display when they were earned as well, you might go try looking for when you were awarded early badges, like lvl 10, or AP explores, villains might look at snake kill badges, or the explore in break out, etc etc. Characters made after veteran rewards can look when they got their first vet badges. It's not perfect, but it gives an idea.

I've found myself using /quit to exit a /lot/ lately, and really pining for a similarly quick and easy way to get back to the log in screen, but haven't seen/found such a command.... anyone know it?
-
I've been debating whether to delete a 48 sonic/sonic defender, 47 ice/fire tank, or 46 nin/nin stalker to make a dark/dark def... if it weren't for coming up with a name (And power colors now!) that I like, and respeccing all the IOs out of one of the above, I probably would have done it by now...
-
I think that's technically a D2
Aside from the PvP recipes, and I guess the Numina's and UT sets, I don't think that's all that expensive, certainly not "2 billion on all possible server slots"
It's 4 AM when I tinker, so it might well have made some compromises I wouldn't normally make, but here, I buffed the defense up a bunch more
43.1% SL vs 28.5
42.1% FC vs 37.3
40.3% EN vs 38.5
26.5% P vs 24.4
Res more or less the same, SL notably higher, the others equal or slightly lower.
Lost 20% rech.
Gained 20% regen
Got a little damage into TT.
Some other stuff I've forgotten about by now and am too tired to care about...
I tried to keep powers/slotting as similar as I could, even though I would probably do many things differently myself. Hope you like.

Happy birthday Mac!
You're older than you've ever been,
and now you're even older,
and now you're even older,
and now you're even older.
You're older than you've ever been
and now you're even older,
and now you're older still...
TIME! Is marching on.
And time.. is still marching on.
This day will soon be at an end and now it's even sooner.
And now it's even sooner.
And now it's even sooner. -
I dont think the change to Hess was to stop speed runners, as much as to stop regular teams that actually kill most/everything from completely the mission before everyone is in it (which is easy for any team, speed or not, to do). Those teams don't split up to the 4 stations and only send 1-2 in each, for someone on the team to repeatedly end up ending a mission /as/ it is completed is a bit of an annoyance. Having 4 missions like that spread out across the volcano's fringes in a row is more annoying to nonspeeders (with the old maps) than it is to speeders with either map type.

I'm a little surprised and disappointed no one has simply pointed out price caps will make them much much harder to get.

My Aion beta character (which I'm finding rather boring and blah so far, granted, only lvl 7) is now named "Catgad" for those who are interested...

This thread title for some reason always makes me think of the Joker saying, "Where does he get those /wonderful/ avatars?"

I got to see them live a year or two ago, was pretty fun
Scientists have found that the sun is a huge atom-smashing machine.
The heat and light of the sun are caused by nuclear reactions between estrogen, estrogen, estrogen, and more estrogen.
The sun is a mass of incandescent gas
A gigantic nuclear furnace
