As it stands now, Stalkers in PvP are absurdly overpowered; Ice sets would just give them yet another palette of hold/slow abilities to augment their already ridiculous (and yet, recently improved!) Stealth/Hide abilities.

Yea ok!! Sorry I play a Stalker in PvP and Run Several forms of Stealth and am Constantly seen by Blasters at Sniper range because of their perception... You may want to add Blasters to that "Overpowered in PvP List"


You know the Furryfiance they now have and being able to attack while Mezzed... with all their Stackable damage buffs... not overpowered in the least

Yes this ia At the onset of i12... You will get 2 Free Slots + 1 slot for Each Year Vet Reward... as well as being able to Buy aditional Slots...

Ok I Have seen what CO is offering... I'm sorry to me to seems to be a CoX Rehash where you can't play a Villain and are forced to make a ArchVillain for your hero that can be a Easy Exploited Game Mechanic... I mean come on... Like your not going to Pick Weaknesses for your AV that your hero Excells at... Even the Costume Skins to me look like Rip offs of the CoX Costumes... Although Some are better... I'm just sick of the "ZOMG Dis is Gonna Be Da Bestest Game EVAH!!!" Croud I see in Atlas park Talking about CO

I hate to Point this out But..... Invention Is not New.. Inventing Has been Around Sense the Release Of Villains with Base Items.. They Just Expanded on Inventing to Include Costume, temp powers and IO's

On an unrelated note, why does everyone keep asking for a bump to the level cap? I don't need any more powers on my 50s. As it is, most of them have at least one power I took at 49 just because I had to take something.

Unlike games that use a point system or similar mechanics to purchase and improve abilities as you level up, CoX would gain little to no benefit from a bump.

In fact, if you bumped the level cap, the game would suffer more than benefit. You'd have three more power choices, 21 more slots, and a whole lot less variety in builds because there are only so many powers to pick from.

Now, if you want more story arcs that you can run at 50, that I get, but I'm pretty sure it would only been about a month before the people complaining about being bored at 50 now would start complaining there's nothing to do at 60 and crying for more end-game content. That would only serve to stretch the developers even further than they're already stretched trying to keep us happy over 50 levels.

. . . Anyway, sign me up for a Rikti blade temp power!

Adding Levels 51-60 Would Kill the Game IMO adding Content for a level 45 to 50 To enjoy so you Dont Just "Shelf" a Toon.. I'm all for that

Transformers producer Tom DeSanto is turning his attention to superheroes, securing the rights to NCsoft and Cryptic Studio's videogame "City of Heroes," reports Variety.

The plan is to adapt the massively multiplayer online role-playing game into a live-action feature and then transition it to television in some form.

The project revolves around a group of superheroes who live in Paragon City and must team in order to fight an invasion of aliens known as the Rikti.

In the game, players design their own superhero character and pay a monthly fee of $14.99 to battle supervillains, aliens, madmen and other criminals. An expansion of the game also enables players to create their own villainous character.

"City of Heroes" first bowed at retailers in 2004 and turned into a franchise, spawning sequel "City of Villains" and a comic book series published by Top Cow Productions.

I have to Agree with Dark here... PvP Is Something that need a Fix.. Acualy they went a long way to Fixing it with a Controller nerf much like the MM nerf on damage when they introduced Bodyguard as well as adding invention enhancments

(for those of you who didn't know, Dark Watcher was an original founder of the Freedom Phalanx, along with Elementar(died in battle), Vambrace (two man team, the hero died of old age, and the tech guy behind him is the grandfather or father, forgot which, of the science origin contact in Atlas), Maiden Justice (old age and wife of Statesman), and of course, States himself. If you didn't know this.... go buy the CoH books you slackers, they're like 8 bucks and you can read them in a night if you went at it. Plus, you can learn more about the backstory, which will help you appreciate the work the devs have put into this game to give it such a full, rich storyline.)
