It seems to be working out pretty well already. It's amazing how many people dislike AE but are too lazy/socially inept/scurred to put their own teams together. (That isn't meant to be a slam, it's just the honest truth). Hopefully this alleviates some of the stress of forming teams by letting those who don't mind leading extend the offers, and let the others jump all over it like hungry little fish.

I understand that it's *ugh* another channel to join. Let the badges channel be for badges, same for Hami and lord knows what other channels there are. I'm not shunning AE, merely facilitating teaming by allowing those who are sick of AE to have a recruitment zone for whatever they have running without needing to send a bazillion tells or spam 6 different channels.

If it doesn't work, oh well. I figured it was at least worth a shot considering that dozens of people lose interest in AE every day. =)

It appears as though there's a decent population of players who hate spending hours in AE, and equally hate forming their own non-AE teams. I've taken the liberty of creating AE Anonymous, a public, global channel designed for organizing non-AE mission teams of all levels.

Feel free to join by typing /chanjoin AE Anonymous, and spread the word! =)

I'm with Eran...if you're able to get into one of the really populated global channels you shouldn't have too much trouble finding people to team with you. That being said, Blokey and I run villains fairly often, and are more than willing to run with you if you give us a poke. My global is in the sig. =)

Dear Paragon Hero Neos,

You know I like you. We've talked dozens of times and I've always found you to be a pleasant chap. I'm sure there are loads of players who appreciate your generosity, and I while I find it to be a worthy endeavor, I fail to see the necessity of updating this thread on a weekly basis and including the names of the people you've contributed to. Were every generous player to follow your example, the forums would be full of boring lists made by people to publicly pat themselves on the back for doing something kind.

Obviously you can't remain completely anonymous...but, in my opinion, this public toting of your goodwill takes a lot of the good out of it and just leaves it looking like a desperate attempt to win people over.

(also, I think the term "Charity Store" is weird and inaccurate)
