The blaster community ought to be hanging its head in shame at the infighting going on. No one Cryptic is ignoring any pleas from this community for fixes. No one here can decide what NEEDS fixing in the first place. And when someone DOES say something a vocal minority come along and say the opposite.

It's not the infighting, bickerness, and bitterness you hear. We all have different ideas, opinions, and thoughts; I personally want better survivability/agro management. It's the disappointment of blasters about Cryptic's ability to even answer a simple question such as, "When can we expect Blaster Issues to be looked at?". It's been what, a year and half, and the only vague time line we have is after Tanker/Scrapper Balancing and then Controller Issues (if I remember correctly). Seriously, how hard would it be for Cryptic to even say, "Joe the Intern, promoted from Starbucks runs, is now the rep for Blaster Issues. He will look at blaster issues inbetween mocha latte fraphachino trips (which happens quite often)". I am tired of the "Defiance results are as expected on the internal test sever" type answers. I want...most of us want...acknowledgment and attention to the blaster archtype. -

Pfft, _Castle is the stalker rep. He'd bend over backwards and walk through hell and back for them.

I, of all people, can respect that. Too bad there isn't that type of person that dedicated to Blasters in the Cryptic team. Hell, I'd take one that mildly gives a [censored] about the AT.

I respect him as well. He's the only dev who responds the most often on issues, but it seems mandatory at Cryptic when it comes to Blaster Issues that it is ignored, given a one line statement, or a vague answer. -

Is it possible that you actually have to be damaged by a villian to get the damage bonus, rather then by falling? The defiance bar will be a full, but the bar could just be a reflection of your low hps and not the actual damage boost.
The damage boost could be coded somewhat similar to Fury, where you have to constantly be attacked or make an attack to raise it.
In short, you have to recieve a massive damage strike droping you to near death in X amount of time to get the damage boost, rather then actually being at X of health to get Y amount damage boost. -
The values of the individual powers are not know, most are very small, around 5-10% I believe. Quicksand is much higher, followed by Salt Crystals and Earthquake. Stacking Earth powers is the key to debuff defence.
