But notice that Spines/Invuln comes in at 0.17%, or 1 out of 600, which is 3 to 60 times more common than the really rare combinations.
I'd love to see the full compiled dataset for this, or even better, a new version which includes DB & Will. -
-renderthread 1 should be helpful on any multi-core CPU. It tells the game to send rule calculations to one core and graphics rendering to the other.

I installed the updated Apple driver and it works fine. I haven't done any major performance testing yet, but it definitely isn't slower than the older BootCamp driver. Going to try re-enabling a couple graphics features that I previously turned off and see if it can take the strain now.

I've only ever used XP on NTFS, so that's what I put on my Macs as well. A little annoying about write access, but in theory it's safer than FAT. If you're feeling adventurous you could try installing MacFUSE and NTFS-3G, then set a custom boot script to mount it as writable.
Regarding Nvidia, do you have the latest update from http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306891 (v167.44)? I'm going to try it tonight when I boot Windows. Or you can continue adventuring into 3rd party kexts at http://omegadrivers.net or http://laptopvideo2go.com - some people say they work great, others had problems. -
My SG's founder is certain that a tier 3 empowerment station does not allow some component recipes that the lower tier stations have. I would appreciate any reliable reference info that in/validates this statement.

[ QUOTE ][*]A Titan-O is a horrible reward. In my opinion. Even if at level 42 you got a level 45 Titan-O (that's +3 to you), you would outlevel it at level 49 and be forced to discard it. With the xp and other rewards of this tf/trial, you can easily buy a high level multi-aspect IO which won't ever be outleveled.
[/ QUOTE ]
Amazingly, you fail to notice that you outlined exactly the PERFECT solution to the Hydra & Titan O problem: change them to be like IOs. Constant +25 multi-aspect L40 monster-Os that could be slotted in nearly any power are easily equal to L45+ Set IOs. -
If you're only using BootCamp for CoX (not including Test), then you should be able to get by with a 10GB partition.
Have you run the Apple Hardware Test from your system DVD? Maybe you have a corrupt bit in your RAM somewhere. -
According to multiple benchmark reports, the new Santa Rosa MacBook with GMA X3100 is 30-40% faster for 3D games than the old GMA 950 model. Should be pretty playable if you have 2 (or 4) GB of RAM in a matched pair.
Also, rather than call out particular models, it would be easier to say that all of the Macintels are multi-core, except for a handful of 2006 low-end minis (which are not good choices for gaming). -

It's not complex at all, just an extension of the existing system. If an account has been inactive for years, I don't see why the names on it shouldn't become unreserved at some point.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think a "one level, one month" policy would satisfy both the desire to extend the system to higher-level abandoned names and the need for a simple rule that all players can figure out in their heads. Seriously, can you determine in 5 seconds or less how long it would take for an L19 to be unreserved under your system? -

Why not just run it as a scaling system?
[/ QUOTE ]
Why go with an overly complicated system?
[/ QUOTE ]
For one thing, so that random L7 characters that haven't been used for years aren't squatting on names that people want. But personally I'd go with a simpler scaling: if your account has been inactive for N months, your characters level N or less lose their name reservations. -
Figured I should announce this here for any interested folk. My old gaming buddies and I have founded the Personal Incarnations, with the theme of "player avatars".
Requirement: member toons must physically resemble their RL counterparts (modulo a little muscle and/or glowing body parts). See my photobucket for an example.
Other recommendations: [*]Hero name should resemble your RL nickname/username/handle.[*]AT should resemble the powers you pretended to have as a kid.[*]Casual attire preferred, unless you honestly want to wear a unitard in public in RL.
If this sounds like your cup of coffee, send me an email. -
Actual game question here: what is the proper channel/etiquette/ritual/whatever for getting on (or forming, even) a Rikti badge-hunter team? Searching solo is extremely ineffective.
