Run the Barracuda Strike Force 4 times now, and on the mission where you escort Roderick Mueller, I have purposely stayed back when the team picked him up as an escort, and watched him follow some one to the closed door.   2. Recently went to the RWZ looking for the training dummies that used to be near Serpent Drummer, and found them missing. Not sure if this was a bug, or if they where removed in a resent patch. Wanted to play with dual blade combos in a safe environment. Got me to thinking, with customization of powers now on it's way, people will probably want to experiment or just show off there new colors. If the war zone dummies are gone for good, can we have a pair of dummies (one for arcane and one for tech) added to the base decorations that we can add.

    Currently there is nothing stopping people from doing this with the currently logged in character. If this is a problem that people are having, maybe the devs can look into a /lock command that would lock the game temporarily until a user name/password is put in again (or until the AFK time out kicks the game back to login screen).
  4. Not sure if anything like that can be done with the character creator, but I'll see if I can get something close and update my arc. Villain... hmm, will have to change the last mission as well.

    Next needs to be a "Log out to Character Select" option. First you sit in a 5 minute queue, you log in and notice all your friends are starting a group you need a different character for. Log out to switch characters, and find your self stuck on another 5 minute queue.
  6. I would like to see time bonuses (such as bonus prestige for X minutes, or salvage drop from mission for X minutes) changed to number of defeats/completions. As it is now the benefit seems to be wasted by simply playing, looking for groups, or traveling.

    For things like bonus prestige, maybe every 20 minutes you are logged out, you get bonus prestige on one defeated mob. Similar for mission complete bonuses, maybe every hour logged out you get an extra reward on completion of one mission. For travel rewards, maybe only count time while travel powers (including sprint) are active.

    This way we don't feel like we are loosing our rewards while trying to find/build teams while the reward timers are counting down.

    Since it seems like more of an RP thing, might be a safe bet to make it a none-combat toggle. Would set you at that lower end of 15 animations. If you activate a power or are attacked, the walk automatically toggles off for combat.
  8. Base Repricing
    1) How will the repricing of bases affect you personally?
    The main super group I'm in will have a much larger base. My side personal group I built to hold enhancements I wanted to keep for personal use will now owe rent even though it's just an entrance with a 1x2 work shop. The 100 prestige people are reporting for 1 enhancement bin isn't that much though, I'll just have to remember to run my character holding that base open for me once a month to earn it.

    2) Will you dismantle your base to gain the additional prestige from the repricing?
    Yes. If I want to grow the base with the price drops you are giving, I will need all the prestige I can squeeze out by rebuilding. From what I am seeing, storage and teleporters aren't seeing a drop in price, so those wont have to be re built, but will have to be moved around a lot so I can rebuild the rooms they are in.

    3) How long would this process take you if you were to engage in this practice?
    Several hours, I hope no more then 4.

    4) What are the positive and negative concerns regarding repricing?
    Positive: I like rent has drop. I like that most items have seen price drops.
    Negative: I don't like that price drops wont be applied to existing items and rebuilding will be required. It's not terrible, but could do with out the 100 rent for my side group, but I will leave with it.

    5) How will this feature affect you long term and short term?
    Short term, a lot of work to try and build up the base. Long term, once the base is built up, prestige will become un-important again, even more so now that rent is basically nothing.

    Base Salvage Exchange to Invention Salvage
    1) What is the negative effect on your base for this feature implementation?
    I don't really see much of a negative. We really only use the base only for transport, and have all 11 teleporters needed for the 21 (soon 22) beacons. Might try and craft a few more things later on, but don't see a need for it right now.

    2) What is the positive effect on your base for this feature implementation?
    No real positive. I thought it was fine before. Would rather see base salvage stay, and at the same time, keep the base to invention conversion, so that once we are done building, we can still use the base salvage for something.

    3) How long will it take you to adjust to learning this new system?
    What is there to learn, seems straight forward to me.

    4) What side effects to this system do you currently see from transitioning the old to new system?
    Don't see any my self

    5) What security concerns do you have regarding this change?
    Never had security problems before, don't see any new ones cropping up.

    Additional Notes:
    On the salvage, I wold still like to see "components" used for building base items. The different components may require different levels and combination's of salvage them selves. But this way, we aren't limited to only a hand full of combination's to get the base salvage, we have more combination's of salvage we could use.
  9. Since you are using a free geocities account, I would recommend converting it to HTML, it should be much smaller and more people should be able to see it before your site shuts down.
  10. Maybe using the "/ignore_spammer" command should just pop up the petition window with the option harassment/conduct selected, and a custom subject like "$target being ignored as spammer". That way there wouldn't be a need to type "/ignore_spammer $target" and "/petition". Would at least help people feel like the command is doing more then just ignoring the problem.
  11. I would like to see several changes to incorporate the world events.

    1) Event Channel - Channel that can be added to any tab the player wishes. Event Channel remain global so people willing to switch to an alt on the other side for an invasion can be alerted. Add the event channel by default to any new characters made just like the help channel is added. Event Channel should be read only, any messages sent by players to the event channel should just be discarded.

    2) On screen message - Like the badeg/level up message, something that quickly flashes on the screen can be general "World Event" or specific "Rikti Invasion". On screen message should not show for oposing side invasions, heroes only see heroe warnings and villains see villain warnings.

    3) Zone Highlighting - On the map of the city, mark the zones with currently active zone events (highlight in a red). Players wouldn't have to add the event channel, just open the city map and look for the zone being attacked. May think of including active fires in steel, troll raves in skyway, and the eochai/jack show down in croatoa as events that cause a zone to highlight. The eochai/jack maybe not since they are not actually terrorizing the city, but the other two have a police presence when they occur, so would make since for them to solicit help by flagging the zone on the map.
