Just because something isn't officially supported, doesn't mean it won't actually work.

CoH isn't officially supported on Vista (which has been out years), or Windows 7 (which isn't out yet), yet it works perfectly fine on both.

Mac compatibility is the job of the 3rd party company who did it for Paragon Studios. If their wrapper doesn't work right under the latest OSX, you'll have to wait for them to fix it, or stick with your current OS. No one's forcing you to upgrade, after all.

That was said about i15 too. It was also said that i14 would have more than the AH in it, and it didn't really, aside from a few more PvP changes.

I used to be a great optimist about this game. I once had more enthusiasm for it than GG on speed. Constant disapointments from the devs have led me to extreme pessimism instead.

Welcome back Riff. I too have just had another small break (not that many noticed). I find myself in a cycle now of sub for a month, then take a week or two off, then resub for a month, then take another couple of weeks off.

It would have been FAR better to NOT call this Issue 15 as the very name gives people expectations. Perhaps instead, it should have been called a "5th year anniversary special"?

Make sure you're out of the updater program, go into the CoH game folder, and delete that file manually, also the checksum file; then try again.

Glad it's working.. And that's 3.5 gig, and it's NOT that big. That's just the size of the data it's patching. i15 is only about 200mb with both patches. Will take about 5 mins.
